Really awesome spot to have a great lunch. Very delicious burgers in a big assortment. Truffle fries is just what you need for an awesome side order, they are superb. The personnel is great. Very attentive and friendly. Everything is for affordable prices. It is very comfortable and cozy inside.

Great place to watch a game and have some good food. Very nice vibe, lots of beer choices and a lot of TVs with games on. Their burgers are above average and the have really good sides, like grilled corn with maple butter, win win. One of the hidden gems in the area.

When visiting NYC over the weekend we wanted something quick and tasty for lunch. The reviews seemed good for Pop @ Pod but I definitely don’t agree now that I’ve eaten there. The restaurant is inside of a hostel/hotel called Pod but was easy to find since the hotel stands tall and has a sign on it. We walked in and were the only patrons at 1:30pm which should have been our first clue. The service was very slow which is frustrating when there was no one else in the restaurant. My boyfriend had the shrimp blt which he thought was delicious but my plain burger was not good. For the moderate to high prices and the poor service and poor quality of the food I will not be returning to Pop.

What a pleasant surprise. Nestled in the Pod hotel is this kind of retro but very unassuming restaurant. My boyfriend and I headed here because we decided to date night in another neighborhood we normally are not in and this was perfect. Our server was attentive and sat us next to the windows so we could people watch. I had the turkey sliders and my boyfriend had the beef. Both delicious. Even my boyfriend who is wired to like meat, meat, and meat(beef) agreed.

What a great place to come for lunch! I work on 60th, and a group of 8 of us made the trek down here for a birthday lunch. I called in advance to make a reservation, though at noon, there was only one other table in the place. :) The lunch deal is pretty straightforward — $ 11 for three sliders and a drink… you can add fries and I think there is just a small upcharge if you want to get a pint of beer instead of a soda. The food came out in a reasonable amount of time, and everything was tasty. I had the normal beef sliders and the spicy fries — watch out, those fries are HOT! Just a few are fine, but by fry #10 the heat is really building up in your mouth. Also, there are a handful of booths, and each booth has it’s own TV. Definitely a great place to come with some friends if you want to watch sports(or anything on TV, I guess.) :) Definitely come by for lunch if you’re in the area — it’s a great deal, the place is spacious, and the service is friendly!

This restaurant is a part of the hotel. The service was nice, Original sliders was average, inside the restaurant was modern look, it was nice most of everything about this restaurant but. didn’t feel«Wow» from anything either. Music was on and it was too loud. I don’t think I’m willing to go back to this place again:(

Kind of a late review, but this is for the experience I had back in September. I had food delivered to the hotel I was staying at because after a long day of roaming the city I was definitely not wanting to go out and find food. The delivery was quick in my book(like 30 minutes) and the food was still warm when I get it which is always a plus! Now for the downside, the food kind of stinks. Maybe I have just been spoiled with delicious burgers and fries or maybe it somehow lost some flavor during delivery but my burger(the superman) was so bland and the parmesan truffle fries(that I was so excited for I ordered 2 servings of) tasted like the were seriously lacking any flavor let alone parmesan truffle flavor. So while the delivery was quick the food was a disappointment.

Stayed at the hotel that is above this bar/restaurant. Decided to have drinks here because after our long day in NYC we were all to tired to go out. But it was great. Our server was awesome and engaging. They had a variety of beer and I choose the ACDC beer. Downed one and got Tipsy. WTF. Okay gimme another. We ordered a round of deep fried calamari and the mussels. Both very good.

They have a really good lunch special here. I believe it was 10 dollars or so for 3 sliders and a drink. If I had to come here, I would come here during happy for a game with coworkers/friends. They have a TV at every booth(there are only about 3 booths in the bar, but lots of tables). They have a decent selection of beers. On top of that, if you are truly dissatisfied with this place, it is really close to a lot of other bars/restaurants. if you’re going to bar hop, I would start here first and then move over and check out the establishments when you’re almost seeing doubles.

The sliders here are so bulky compared to the sliders that I’m use too. They are true mini burgers and they come at a great price. I stuck with the traditional beef and it was as beefy as it was tasty, we also had tots and fries to go with them and they complimented the burgers very well. The parmesan tots tasted like regular tots but they were still good. This place will do you some justice if you’re ever in the mood for sliders.

I was looking for a decent«fish» sandwich. This was a score! I had the ahi-tuna burger… quite tasty and the fries were good also. I gave it three stars as I think it would’ve been even better in the restaurant as I ordered delivery.

I stayed at the Pod 51 hotel which hosts Pop @ Pod. I went a couple times for lunch & had a nice little romantic dinner one night. The vibe is really… unique & the layout is amazing. The people are great. The lights dim pretty low but it’s all part of the scenery & works well. The food was good & the menu was short which is also a plus.

I popped by Pop@Pod tonight for a happy hour being thrown in honor of a cool colleague. I was not sure what to expect – I had heard about the concept of The Pod Hotel but was not familiar with the dining/nightlife options. I was pleasantly surprised and hope to come back soon either after work or for the sliders lunch special! The atmosphere is a combination of a dimly-lit lounge and sports bar with foosball, and is overall fun.

Unheard of lunch deal in midtown — $ 10 for 2xsliders(you can choose from classic, turkey or «invisible»(i.e., veggie — portabello mushroom burger), choice of fries(including flavored fries), and a beer or soft drink. Wow! Big space with loads of seating There are low tables with big comfy seats, high table, and booths. There are lots of tvs for sports(world cup was on), including individual screens at the booths. Sliders were decent, though my chili fries not really spicy at all. Service very friendly.

I would give the food 3.5 and service 5. I don’t really like burgers(in general) but we got the sliders and truffle fries. Truffle fries were AMAZING and burgers were good(my husband loves burgers). Decent beer selection. Happy hour prices are pretty good! What I loved abt this place was 1. The service — everyone was very helpful and nice, this place is relatively new, so they didn’t always have the answers but the staff being nice made up for it. 2. The environment — there are TVs everywhere, booths have their own private tv and if you’re like me and not into sports, there are two free fooseball tables that are fun to play on! But I like how it’s a fancy CLEAN sports bar! 3. Clean bathrooms!

Pop @ Pod is a new found lunch spot for me and my colleagues. There’s a special for a pint and pop burgers for $ 10 between 11am and 4pm. You choose between beef, turkey or the veggie but you can’t mix and match. This also comes with a side of fries or tater tots. The burgers are cooked medium but you can pick how you would like them to be cooked. During the evening, there’s a happy hour special from 4pm to 7pm for $ 5 draft beers(except Delirium) and $ 6 wines and well drinks. There are no food specials during the evening time. Seating is spacious, up at the bar and the front area there are many communal tables. Some booths are on the side and more tables are nestled toward the back. At the back of Pop there are two foosball tables for free. Overall, a solid place to go for lunch but the service is a little on the slow side. After work, it’s a nice spot to go and relax as it doesn’t get overly crowded like the many bars along 2nd Avenue in the vicinity.

This place it attached to the Hotel in which I was staying(The Pod) and I ate dinner here it was 20 $ for a burger and fried but believe me when I say this burger was one of the biggest things I have ever tried to eat in my life. It was the Superman… no other description needed. They also have a pretty good amount of beer, wine and cocktail selections: D always great to come back to after spending most of the day frolicing through Manhattan.

Dagnabbit when I bit down on the bone in my burger, it hurt like the dickens. I aint never had that happen to me b’fore, and darn tootin I don’t want that to happen agin. That definitely knocked a star off this here review. I came in for the $ 10 lunch special and while the burgers(even bone aside) weren’t too scrumptious(the bun is too darn dense!), the truffle parmesan fries are absolootly posuhtively deeee-lightful. The service is pretty friendly too and the space is nice. I’d come back to play some foosball.

Lunch special is a good deal if you’re in the area. It comes with 2 sliders, 1 order of fries, and a beer or soda of your choice for $ 10. I don’t think the sliders were the best I’ve ever had(turkey and beef patties were a little dry, bun was too dense). My dining companion bit into a bone in his beef burger, which was a bummer. On a positive note, do not skip the truffle parmesan fries – they are DELISH. Servers were really friendly though and the venue is charming. I liked the wood panel walls and the cute round chandeliers. Oh and there are two foosball tables!

OHNO! They closed!!! So sad. What a nice surprise! Love, love, love this bar/lounge/restaurant. The food is great. We had calamari, original Pop burgers(sliders), Blue Bourbon burger, fries, fried cauliflower. All fantastic. Drinks were fabulous – the Paloma was spicy deliciousness and Dirty Flower shots were great. Beer selection was extensive. Music & atmosphere both swanky & relaxed. Wait staff & bartenders all so sweet & friendly, especially the beautiful Kay & the handsome Alex. We will come back to Pop@Pod!
