The Spot

I had my joint birthday party here in February with one of my birthday besties, Scott. Although The Spot is a tinier venue, it was very cozy and intimate. On top of that, the people working here really accommodated our party.
Music was good, venue was clean and the staff helpful. They helped us make our birthday bash run very smoothly. No real complaints other than it is a very tiny venue, so don’t come here if you plan to roll like 50 deep. Anyway, we ended up very happy with the outcome and enjoyed our party greatly! Thanks for helping us celebrate!

I was told there was a 15-​minute wait for a room but then a party who had originally cancelled their reservation had showed up and were given priority over my party. Due to that my party had to wait over an hour, maybe more. We left and had a few drinks elsewhere and when we came back the host said we had to wait about 30 minutes for a room and suggested that we wait at the bar as we waited for a room to open up. We were okay with it because it was a Saturday night but as we were waiting we were given no status reports on our room and were completely ignored by the bartenders. Don’t know what basis this institution is being run on and don’t care much for it anymore. So much for advertising it with free 1-​hour karaōke when you can’t even get a room on a timely basis. Very disappointed.

This bar is really awesome place! My friends and I had a great time in private karaōke room and their package menu is perfect. When we were waiting the line for karaōke room, a bartender gave us service shots. I highly recommend this place to someone who want to celebrate TGIF.

Just had an awesome experience here. Classic Korean bar experience with private karaōke rooms! I experienced very good customer service here! I ordered a bottle of Suju and a pitcher of beer and got my non-​Asian friends nice and tipsy… Well let’s just say we had a good time!
I added a few photos and made comments about how they should update and optimize their Unilocal page! They gave us each a free shot because of that! Gotta love a place like this. It’s very reasonably priced, while offering a very chic and fun décor, good music, open seating, and the option to karaōke!
Give this place a chance guys. Don’t just write it off cause it’s Asian or Korean, anybody of any origin can have a good time here. That is my opinionated fact. I will be back here, it’s worth it.

Really nice place, the doormen were super nice and cool, made sure to let all my friends in! The place has a good vibe to it, a bit small but still can dance (no dance floor though).
The drinks are super expensive though, but they were very cool and if you buy a bottle you can get one free through the

I hosted a Halloween party here with Host Committee and I have to say the place was alright! The Spot isn’t terribly small, but by no means is it big. Our private party had about 150 people and I’d say it was already quite packed.
The space has couches and tables on both sides leading up to a bar along the wall. There are some interesting decorations that give off a sultry and sexy feel. I can’t say much about their line/​security/​bouncer situation as we circumvented that, but the bartenders were nice. Albeit a little stingy when it came to cutting off the open bar.
All in all a really cute place, service was good and it doesn’t get too hectic… but maybe that is expected for a bar inside Trump Soho!
