Great sushi spot! Tiny, but the menu options are extensive. I’m not a raw seafood person and was able find a bunch or great options, including rock a shrimp avocado roll and a mushroom spinach roll. I’ll be back!

The women who took my delivery order messed it up was very rude to me when I tried to ask for another roll or see if I could get a refund after. I had specifically asked for certain type of roll. The women was not nice at all didn’t treat me with respect and was horrible in the way she spoke to me. I was completely blown away by the level of unprofessionalism this establishment presented. I did not have time to wait for another roll because of a meeting I needed to attend. I simply asked to be refunded for my roll because of the mistake and the woman refused to make that possible. I never have written a Unilocal review but felt the need to express my experience with SoHo Sushi.

I order from Soho Sushi about twice a week at work. They have the freshest sushi with the fastest delivery. The prices on their lunch specials are awesome. I have not tried their special rolls but they all sound wonderful. I highly recommend Soho Sushi if you work/live in the area.

Unimpressed. This was my first and last time eating from Soho Sushi. I ordered three rolls delivered from Soho Sushi, based on good reviews I read on seamless. All three rolls were the worst sushi I have had in years. The food did not make me sick, or anything that drastic(hence two stars instead of one). But the rolls were very small, and what little taste they had was either bland or just«off» for what the basic rolls should have tasted like. I recommend trying any of the 1000 very good restaurants in the area, as opposed to wasting your time and money at this place.

All types of bad, wow. We ordered delivery, 5 different items, all of them terrible. I can’t even say it’s a preference thing, I mean this food was bad by general preparation standards. My Gyoza was so uncooked that the dough was pure mush and couldn’t even hold the contents inside when you tried to pick it up to eat it(once I did eat a whole one I discovered the vegetable contents were hard and uncooked.) My beef teriyaki was purely inedible. It was grey, microwaved looking/tasting, old dry meat that you could not chew if your life depended on it. My boyfriend felt that all of the raw fish he ordered did not taste fresh and he decided to not continue eating. We BOTH ate about 4 bites total and threw the entire bag of food out, yet still two hours later we both have really bad stomach pains and feel sick. Waste of money and food, too many other good sushi options around. AVOID!

This review relates to the delivery guy who sent over to corporate office today for lunch. He was very rude when he called to mentioned that he is downstairs. First off I am pregnant — he has no right to assume my delay in answering the 1st call. He barely called me three times only twice. I don’t usually complain or have high expectation but this is unacceptable. As always I tipped. When he saw that i was pregnant his nasty tone changed. The manager of Soho Sushi should revisit or re-train this delivery man. I am not the only one to complain as my other coworkers felt the same way.

Came here after a visit to Bobby Buka’s office(great dermatologist and I highly recommend him, but that’s another review). The place was packed, but I figured if it was crowded, hopefully the sushi is worth the wait. I ordered the three roll lunch special for $ 11 and was highly pleased. I got the Rock Shrimp avocado, eel & avocado and a spicy crunchy avocado roll with brown rice. All of which were super delicious, which is saying a lot since lately these days, all I have been eating is sushi and Thai food for some reason. Great deal! And there was 10% off for paying in cash, which was an extra bonus. Highly recommend this place and hope to come back soon. Lots of specials on the menu. I personally always stick with the sushi rolls, but they had noodle bows and a variety of tempuras as well. Visited another sushi place on the other side of Washington Square and it was just meh, so I was pleasantly surprised to find out how succulent and fresh the sushi was here.

The prices at this sushi location are amazing. It literally costs less than fast food(chipotle, etc) even when you include tip. I went with a friend, we shared the soho combo A, so we had three rolls and a salad. We also had a bowl of miso soup. Our bill came to 16.90 before tip. Also, its on NYU campus!

Average sushi place with average prices. You can’t really go wrong with anything here, as in nothing tastes horrible, but nothing’s memorable either. I’ve eaten here many times, especially for lunch, and have yet to get sick, so they’ve got that going for them.

They have a great lunch deal but I felt pretty sick after eating their rolls. I had the spicy salmon roll and smoked salmon roll. Both tasted a little fishier than I would’ve liked, but I ignored it and kept eating anyway because I figured the fish would be pretty fresh at lunchtime on a Tuesday. Currently writing this review in bed with a bad stomachache and regrets.

I ordered delivery from Soho Sushi today and the delivery guy YELLED at me. I said«8th floor» instead of Suite 800, and he screamed and swore and refused to give me my order because apparently he stopped at 801 first. Ridiculous, I will never, ever order from them ever again, and tell all my friends to do the same. Since I go to NYU, this could seriously hurt their business. I hope it does.

I want to like this place but I can’t. I ordered through seamless and the delivery time wasn’t too bad compared to other sushi places I ordered from through seamless, came quicker than expected. I ordered the tri roll combo lunch special, one spicy crunchy crab roll, one spicy crunchy yellow tuna roll, and one mushroom with spinach roll. I was so excited until I saw the amount of breading or whatever it was they gave in one of the spicy crunchy roll and both spicy crunchy rolls were NOT spicy at all. I was expecting a tiny hint of spice but there was nothing after all I ordered SPICYCRUNCHY rolls. The mushroom with spinach roll was probably the only thing I enjoyed. However, I did feel sick a few hours later after eating. Probably won’t order again from here. 3 stars for delivery service /nice delivery guy & the mushroom and spinach roll.

The sushi is good and fresh. I recommend trying the Fried Gyoza. They also offer a good lunch time combo for 2 or 3 sushi rolls. Although the food is good, watch out before ordering for delivery. Today, it took over an hour to receive my food and it was no longer hot. I slightly recommend this place, but not if you are looking for food delivery, maybe eat at the restuarant.

Generally decent sushi, no worse that most of the middle of the road good quality sushi except for one aspect: the tiniest rolls ever. I might try it again not during lunch, but I’ve had lunch specials from comparable places with much more substantial rolls. I got delivery to my office, the 2 roll lunch special, it was prompt. The salad was cold, the sushi was almost room temp which was a little weird, but it wasn’t so warm that I was worried about how safe it was to eat. That being said that rolls themselves were fresh and tasty. I would definitely give this spot another chance. But probably not for lunch.

ordered delivery and it came an hour later(as opposed to the 30min estimate). I had the three-roll lunch combo. the yellowtail jalapeño and a salmon avocado roll were nice and fresh. rolls are a little smaller than other places but the quality makes up for it. the rock shrimp mango was a poor decision on my part because the two components just didn’t compliment each other. mango wasn’t ripe so it had no mango flavor. they have much bigger selection of rolls than the other takeout places I usually order from. considering that it comes with a miso soup or salad, the price was good. worth your weekly lunch option if delivery times improve.

Very fresh good quality sushi. I have lunch here during work at least 1x per week. The roll combo lunch special is the best deal in the area. It comes with 2 or 3 rolls choice of soup or salad. The list of rolls has something for everyone, the teriyaki, and udon options are tasty choices too. The service is great and there is so much turnover(I have really never seen this place empty) that the sushi is always cold fresh. They do a lot of takeout and service the NYU area so if its busy it’s understandable. It is dicey with certain sushi places because if there are hardly any customers the sushi sits there and you can taste the fishiness. I have not had a bad experience here yet and service is always with a smile. You even get an orange for dessert at the end. Please don’t ever take away my soho lunch special it’s in my lunch rotation! If I could name a fave roll besides my usual Alaska roll or tuna crunch I would pick the specialty Manhattan Roll which Tuna, shrimp, cucumber and crunchy inside, topped with avocado and tobiko. all fresh all tasty items and the tobiko is like sprinkles to me. Put on all the rolls ! Then into my belly. !

Currently sitting in the restaurant right now. The atmosphere is super casual, love«hole in the wall» type places and this is definitely one but still very good! The prices are affordable and the staff is attentive. The miso soup is also pretty good. Ordered the crunchy salmon roll, eel avocado, and shrimp tempura. Would visit again!

Sushi Soho is a good sushi place with an «A» health rating, and reasonable prices. What more could you need? SUSHICOMBOS? Okay, they’ve got those too. I came here for dinner around 8pm and my friend and I were seated immediately. The menu is straightforward, and the fish was good quality. I opted for a sushi combo with two salmon avocado rolls(they let me sub out the tuna that Combo B originally comes with), and an eel California. Exactly what I had been craving for weeks now. My friend opted for a Naruto roll(cucumber instead of seaweed, and no rice, aka the diet-friendly version… though I prefer they be a part of a larger sushi combo), and our total came out to exactly $ 26. They gave us the classic sushi restaurant tea, which is amazing as always. My combo also came with soup or a salad – I went with the miso. The flavor was standard. The size of the rolls were typical of NYC – a little smaller, but nothing ridiculous. 3 rolls was just right. The décor of the place is also simple. Nothing flashy – this is not a trendy sushi place where a basic roll costs $ 10. Here, you can have a satisfying meal for under $ 15, no problem. Loved it. The space is small, but welcoming. The staff was friendly and attentive. They give a 10% discount if you pay with cash! Unfortunately, I never carry cash with me – I should probably consider starting. I looked over the lunch specials, and they are always so reasonable with quality and quantity at sushi restaurants! Soho Sushi is no exception.

Recommended by my cousin we came here for dinner. Kind of easy to miss place with seating for about 25 people. The interior is clean but the like green walls are off putting. The staff was really nice but so soft spoken I had to have them repeat things several times to understand what they were saying. Despite the tasteless walk color, the food was good. Fish was very fresh and the salmon and yellowtail belly were delicious. We had the spider roll, Dragon roll and some other run of the mill sushi rolls which were up to par but if you want a change of pace from the norm order the crunchy spicy tuna roll. Instead of the normal sushi rice wrapped in seaweed, the spicy tuna comes atop deep fried rice balls. It was a nice textural combination with the crunch of the rice and pâté like spicy tuna.

Stopped in for lunch today and this place was jammin. The pickups and deliveries were constantly in motion. We had to wait a few minutes for a table, but not too long. It’s a small location, but they did a good job with the space. I had the two roll combo lunch special. Both the yellow tail and jalapeño and spicy crunchy crab were delicious. It also came with some miso soup which had a nice taste to it. As we were finishing up they brought us some tea and then finished us off with some fresh oranges. Not bad for $ 9. Overall a good experience. Though someone should let them know that they are not actually located in soho.
