Awesome service. Awesome food. Awesome prices. What’s there not to like? I came here with two of my friends around 1 pm on a Saturday for brunch. We did not make reservations and surprisingly, there was not a lot of people(However around 2 pm, it became kind of crowded). I can see why. I mean unlimited mimosas/champagne/bloody mary’s/coffee with an entrée for $ 17 for 1.5 hours?! Count me in! That’s an unbeatable deal. Especially in the Village. For drinks, we opted for the mimosas. Mimosas is a must for brunch! Well, for me at least! You do get some of your Vitamin C! So it’s a win-win! I ordered the classic eggs benedict, my friend ordered the avocado omelette and the other ordered the vegetarian omelette. My eggs benedict was sooo goooddd! I’m still thinking about it! My friends’ entrees looked nice too and said that it tasted delicious. Overall, solid place to have brunch — especially at a great deal! I will definitely come back here to try their other food items! Check this place out!

NOTE: I visited this establishment in 2006. This review was copied from a travel site I previously blogged for. The setting of this Sports Bar is what caught our attention. The Riviera Café sits at the point of an intersection, and they put a triangle-size space of concrete to good use as an outdoor patio. It was a beautiful night, we chose to dine al fresco. We wanted to eat light, so we each ordered a salad(Four Greens salad with grilled chicken; delicious) and Meg and I shared quesadillas. The menu was rather savory, they offer plenty of options that kinda make me hungry right now… The quesadillas were a little ‘oniony’, but otherwise good. The highlight– Sangrias! $ 23 for dinner. My only complaint– very poor service. The waiter was not only slow, but unfriendly and unattentive. Boo.

I stopped by with a large group of friends after Happy Hour ended at Ofrendas across the street. My friend saw that they were offering $ 4 margaritas(on the rocks & frozen), so we figured this was the place to be to keep the party going. It wasn’t too busy or loud. Plenty of room to accommodate big parties. No complaints, cool place if you’re looking for cheap drinks.

The brunch is a great deal with unlimited mimosas and bloody Mary’s with an entrée for $ 17. The food was good; although I’ve had better fries the breakfast burrito was very good. The mimosas were typical but the bloody Mary’s were also very good. I’d recommend it on the price – great value!

Went here for a casual night of apps and drinks after a comedy show. The margarita happy hour is only $ 4 and they were pretty good. We split mozzarella sticks, nachos, and wings. They were ok, but not great. One of the mozzarella sticks didn’t have any cheese in it. Also the service was very slow.

Really well priced brunch, even for a large group of 11 girls hanging out on the weekend. Unlimited mimosas, bloody Mary’s, and coffee along with an entrée for $ 17 and for 90 minutes? Yes please! I ordered a traditional French toast and mimosas. Brunch was served. They’re very attentive and everything came out quickly even when there was a lot of folks at the restaurant watching the football game. I’m happy to know that they were able to accommodate our large group and treated us well. I look forward to coming back!

came here with a couple friends for a few drinks. My friend with a speech impediment asked for a drink and the bartender said he was too drunk to be served. Asked for the manager and he said he had to «trust the bartender’s judgement» Disgusting people and service. Will never go back.

My friends and I came out here around 10:00 and it wasn’t crowded at all. The food took at most 10 minutes to come out, and the waitress was extremely nice! I ordered a chicken burrito(it’s an extra 2 dollars for guacamole!) and it was quite tasty. They kept playing throwback music which I personally really enjoyed!

Stopped by for a pitcher of sangria($ 18) and some calamari($ 11.50). The sangria is incredible. I love the amount of fruit they put into it and the cherries are probably my favorite thing about it. The alcohol soaks up into the cherries and the combination of the sweetness with the alcohol is great on the taste buds! Additionally, after sharing the pitcher, I was pretty buzzed. I think they upped the alcohol content! I also really enjoyed the calamari as something to munch on with my drink. It nicely fried and is actually very light despite that fact. The establishment is pretty decent, but I did feel a bit awkward around the servers. Other than that, not too shabby!

This is a nice little bar with a good brunch menu but the highlight of brunch was the unlimited mimosa/champagne/bloody mary and the excellent service. For brunch I had the Breakfast Burrito which was delicious but my boyfriend had the Vegetarian Omlette which was kind of bland. Best part was that the waitress/managment didn’t rush us to get out and they were very attentive to refill our drinks and even brought out 3 slices of cake for my friend’s birthday. We were a large and loud group and I was really glad they let us linger around. Definitely a nice place for brunch on a weekend.

This place is a cool sports bar with outdoor seating that sits right off of w10th street in the west village. Stopped by on a Sunday afternoon for brunch. $ 16.95 for an hour unlimited boozy brunch which is a price that you cannot beat. The mimosas weren’t watered down which was great. I also ordered a frozen margarita which was pretty good as well. I most definitely enjoyed the boozy part of brunch. The avocado omelette was really good. It came with a side of bacon and a tossed salad. The service here was ok. Although my waitress was nice, she wasn’t very attentive and I watched her stand by the entrance having a conversation until I was able to ask someone else for another drink. Nonetheless, it was a cool place for brunch with a phenomenal price.

I have been going to the Riviera since the 80’s and the main reason is it is a great people watching spot when the weather is nice. Grab a seat outside and just watch. Other than that, there is not a whole lot to recommend. While the staff is good, the food is so-so. When I ate meat, the burgers were pretty good, but most of the other food is okay, nothing great, not even their fries. Drinks are fine. But you can find way better at any other place. Like I said it is a great people watching place, otherwise I would have given it one star. I mean it is not even good bar food. How they have been in business this long is one of life’s mysteries.

Has some great drink specials($ 5 margaritas) but they will up-sell you into getting a larger one anyway. The margs were great, but the nachos were terrible — reminded me of nachos you get at a ballpark. There is outdoor seating, though, which makes it a great summer spot. There is nothing better than margs outside with friends on a NYC summer night. Check it out for drinks, not so much food.

I have been going to this restaurant for almost a year and I love it! It’s a simple restaurant you walk in for good food and service. Although it does not have much ambiance the staff is amazing. The food is delicious. They have 5 different salads, a lot of seafood, and a great American burger. I just started going for dinners this is my ultimate brunch spot. They have great options at reasonable prices! I’ve been coming here every Saturday & Sunday for a nice outdoor brunch. No need to feel intimidated with dress come as you are and bring ur appetite!

Worst dining experience I’ve had in a while. Walk in to the restaurant with no host/hostess in sight was almost sure it was self-seating until I spotted a hostess sitting down at a table. Got to pic our seat which was a plus, but almost 10 minutes passed without any acknowledgement from our waiter. He finally showed and we ordered. I will say the $ 4 margaritas is a good deal and they were decent. The wait for my food was about 30 minutes long. I finished my drink during that time and was not visited by the waiter until he was aware of me staring him down. The food arrived maybe 10 minutes later. We ordered nachos, mozzarella sticks and buffalo wings. Was not really expecting top notch quality, the place reminded me of a diner in a random town so the nachos did not disappoint. Would not recommend to anyone looking for food, but just to chill outside with drinks its fine.

This is an ideal place for the cheapest brunch in NYC. Unlimited mimosas/champagne/bloody marys/coffee with an entrée for only $ 14. I love their eggs benedict as well as their florentine benedict which is spectacular(although they do substitute the potatoes with fries sometimes so be sure to ask them if they) and their avocado omelet. Yes, their mimosas ARE strong(as determined by two separate individuals, one lightweight and one heavyweight. Test passed!) Every time I’ve been here, there’s always been attentive service. When they mean unlimited, they really do mean unlimited. And yes, you can change up your drinks for no cost. The coffee is unlimited as well for no charge. If you want to skip the drinks(understandable on a day when you may just be coming from church eh ;)), they also have an a la carte food menu for only $ 10. It’s spacious inside and they have outdoor seating for hot weather. I’ve never had a problem getting seated right away, even in times of massive crowds. Best place for a cheap, no-frills Sunday brunch!

Fun time! Great prices! Went here to have brunch with my family who live near by. I was told it was $ 13.95 per person with unlimited specialty drinks. UNLIMITED… Whoo, whoo! We were warmly greeted and decided to sit outside, where we had a fabulous view of the freedom tower. It is tight seating arrangement but did I mention UNLIMITED… deal with it! The brunch menu offered a wide variety of yummy choices. No one was disappointed with any of their brunch meal choices. I opted for the Bloody Mary. It was so tasty, but I lost count after 4. Not bad. Great brunch and I left with a buzz for a VERY reasonable price. The only down side were the pan handlers who would occasionally prayer me while dining. I forgot they were there after drink #3.

On aurait dû fuir.
