I’ve been a customer for about 5 years. Never had an issue with my laundry. My overall experience at Quick Coin has been great. You pay for what you get. Good service!

My husband and I started using Quick Coin because it is very close to our apartment. In the past year, they have ruined over $ 2,000 worth of our laundry. The first time it happened, my husband went to pick up our laundry and they told him«you’re laundry burned in a fire, it’s gone.» They claimed that it was one of their self-serve customer’s fault that a dryer caught on fire. They stated that our clean clothes(along with other customers’ belongings) were on top of the dryer that caught fire and that they were completely gone. We produced an itemized list of everything we could recall that was in those two loads and it took us several weeks of pleading with them to get them to pay us a small fraction of the value of items that they ruined. They wouldn’t pay us until they got their insurance settlement for the incident and then ended up paying is $ 300 for the $ 1,500+ that we’re incinerated. The second major incident involved our white, monogrammed bedding. The linens came back with large areas of brown splotches and smelled burnt. Sure enough, they burned our bedding in the dryer and didn’t even try to fix it! We took it back to them and asked them to re-wash it. This time, they bleached it so much that the once blue monogramming was now yellow and green. When we took it back to them with pictures of how it looked before, they insisted that they weren’t responsible and they refused to even attempt to rectify the situation. It was an expensive lesson, but convenient and cheap is not always worth it. There are definitely much better options in the proximity.

Let me preface this by saying that this is my first Unilocal review ever, which was mostly prompted by how angry I was with my experience here. I live around the corner from this place and went on a roommates recommendation. I picked up my laundry earlier today and came home to put it away, only to discover that my clothing had not been washed. My underwear was clearly still dirty, my sports bra still smelled like sweat, my button down still had wrinkles in the arm crease from having it rolled up, and to top it off they got bleach on a t-shirt in the process. As if that isn’t bad enough, I went back, with some of my still dirty laundry and asked for a refund of the $ 20 i just paid them. Not only was I refused, but they flat out denied not washing my clothing and staining my shirt. They told me that I had to bring the whole bag back and that they weren’t going to let me «trick» them. The man kept insisting that my clothes weren’t clean because I had to hand-wash them. I know some people do it, but I have never hand-washed a pair of underwear in my life and they always come out clean. So I went back to my apartment and brought the bag back. The MANAGER told me if I wanted things washed better I should do it myself and then walked away while instructing the man at the register that he should put my stuff in the washing machine and then take it out and throw it in the bag– with the specific caveat that he not fold it. The manager was so rude this is literally the worst customer service I have ever had.

in the last 2 years i’ve been using these guys they have lost a sock or two sure… but that is nothing in comparison to the hell i have experienced with other laundry spots. they are open late, they deliver within minutes and they are kind and careful. it’s a yes from me. definitely.

The main reason I come here is because I live around the corner. But it’s convenient and they don’t seem to have screwed up my laundry or dry cleaning in the 10 months or so that I’ve been coming, so I have no complaints. Hours: I’m pretty sure that if you drop off by 11 am, your laundry will be ready by 7 pm the same day. I like that they’re open until 11 pm so I can almost always swing by on my way home from work. They also deliver. Price: I usually opt for fabric softener and for whites and darks to be washed separately — in the end it runs me about $ 1 per pound. Getting a women’s blazer dry cleaned is around $ 4.50 or $ 4.75.
