As an update to my review yesterday, I attempted to be a good samaritan by stopping in to alert the owner of the extremely rude employee who hung up on me within 10 secs of a conversation because I asked about pricing over the phone. Much to my surprise, the rude person on the phone turns out to be the owner, and even more rude in person. I asked why he would hang up on a new customer who was asking for prices, he simply that he does not discuss prices on the phone and hung up because he was busy. I told him that I was not rude, was polite, and even stopped in to talk to the owner about a bad employee for the owner, and he replied by raising his voice and telling me to go elsewhere since obviously I am not going to be a customer. NOSHITSHIRLOCK. I let him know that I will be writing up a review about this, to which he again, raises his voice, and says«go ahead Einstein»… making a further mockery of himself and his lack of business sense. A grown ass adult resorting to name calling(I was on way to work and in a suit and glasses). AVOIDATALLCOSTS.

This place is not great. The guy at the front is so incredibly rude for no reason and has no idea what goes on when the items are being cleaned. The wash and fold is $ 1/lb for the first ten lbs and then $.70/lb after that, but with a minimum of 10 lbs in each bag(and separate bags will be counted separately as needed to meet the 10 lb minimum and with the $ 1/lb pricing). Just no need to be that rude and the service isn’t so great either

guy at desk was not helpful and pretty much told me to go to another cleaner when I asked him if he could take 1lb off since my canvas bag weighs at least 1−2lbs. I think i will walk the extra two blocks to my old cleaner who was actually nice and fair about the additional weight of my bag.

Ok service. They did a good job cleaning the clothing and were reasonably priced.

4u is great! They’re always honest about what they can and can’t do, and always exceed expectations. They remove stains I thought were there to stay, and ALS do good alterations. They’re also super friendly and smiley. Rare in NY!

Not only do they have a speedy turnaround on your dry cleaning, but they also do tailoring and alterations. Let me tell you, this is something of a godsend here in the city. I love discussing repurposing my jackets and dresses that were milling around in the back of my closet and seeing that vision realized.

I live in an apartment right by 4U Cleaners and go here regularly to have my suits dry cleaned and laundry washed/folded. No complaints — they haven’t lost an article of clothing yet, everything comes back very clean and they’re always on time. Only thing is I wish they would open on Sundays.

I tried a few cleaners in the neighborhood before using 4U Cleaners… They pick up and drop off for me and so far it has been a very pleasant experience. They always get my cloths ready on time, nicely starched and the prices are very reasonable. Most importantly, I don’t get any surprise charges on the bill. Highly recommended.
