love this place– i’ve been here a few times. once they fixed a metallic leather covered heel that i messed up– i had fallen and scuffed up the covered heel to the point that the plastic base was showing through in a few spots. i can’t say the repair is totally invisible, but it’s a d*mn good job!
they also polish my hubby’s work shoes to look good as new.
i have also had a couple of shoes stretched here– including a pair of boots where the shaft ended up being synthetic material (which usually doesn’t stretch). they managed to stretch them about an inch if not a little more! great work guys!

Usually you drop off your favorite, worn down and unwearable pair of shoes and ponder… what the hell am I going to wear for the next two days while these suckers are re-​heeled? You tried to haggle with the guy over time and maaaaaaaaybe he agrees and says to come back that afternoon.
This time I had a bigger task… I came in with my favorite boots, the heels down to the nails, the leather begging for some moisture, the lining inside just having ripped. I couldn’t get them on and I limped through the cold in my flip-​flops.
The man looks up at me and says… «two hours».
Now that’s what I like to hear…
