Had a truffle slice, made with real truffle oil. The pizza was reheated from the display case and yet it lost none of its crispness, and none of its flavor. It turned out to be an exceptional slice of pizza.

If you want a quick, casual bite, this place is perfect. The slices of pizza are decently big and there are many topping options. The ingredients are also pretty good quality. I got a slice with standard cheese, mushrooms, spinach, onions, feta and tomatoes. It was flavorful and satisfying. I also tried a bite of a slice with tomatoes, mozzarella and fresh basil. It was a tad too salty for my taste, but still good. If you’re wanting to sit down, keep in mind that there are only 4 bar stools.

I had the artichoke and the caprese pizza and it was delicious! It was fast, not too expensive and great. If I’m ever in NYC again I would love to eat here again!

This place is unbelievable. It is our favorite pizza place in NY and we order from them at least one a week. I know I sound like a fatty but I’m not and I just can’t resist their Truffle Oil Mushroom pizza. This pizza is so good, we are adding Frank’s hot sauce and some red pepper flakes and it is so so delicious. Highly recommended!

We had joy while eating inside this tiny place. I had the mushroom and truffle pie… It was delicious. My daughter had the margarita pie which she loved as well. Service was quick. Place was clean!

The Grandma is a nice tasting pizza but nothing mindblowing. Good quality ingredients with a light and crispy crust. Seriously pricey compared to other NYC pizza joints. The tourists really seem to love it and don’t mind the premium.

This seems to be a local favorite, so my family stopped by to give it a shot. I have to say it was pretty good, but not as great as some reviews made it sound. I did like the mushroom pizza with truffle oil, that was full of great flavors. Some of the other slices we had were good as well, but the mushroom pizza stood out. The claim to use a special sort of crust, but to me this sauce and fresh toppings are what I enjoyed. Worth a try for sure.

Definitely try the Grandma! I grabbed lunch here yesterday and tried the mozzarella and vegan. They were good enough to make me go back today, but nothing exceptional. The vegan could have used more flavor — a touch more garlic perhaps? Still, I loved that they use organic ingredients and that the pizza wasn’t too greasy, so I stopped by again today and got a slice of Grandma and a caramelized onion slice. Sooo much better! While yesterday’s choices were a bit on the bland side, both of the slices I tried today were flavorful. The caramelized onion pizza was great and definitely didn’t skimp on the onions. The Grandma was my hands down favorite, though. The sauce is amazing — flavorful, yet still fresh tasting. It had just enough fresh basil to give flavor without feeling like you’re eating a basil plant(I’ve had some margarita pizzas that went overboard on the basil). Not too much fresh mozzarella and the parm added a nice salty finish to round it out. I’ll be back!

Traditionally when one thinks of New York Pizza the thought of thin crust and a foldable slice comes to mind. That is not the case at my pie. They have chosen a different, and absolutely delicious route, of having Roman-style pizza here in the city. The standout player of this pizza is by far the crust. Often an afterthought my pie brings it to the Forefront with a depth and texture I’ve had a few pizzas. While this is not the traditional New York City slice, it is an absolute must have for any Pizza Lover

Usually people eat everything besides the crust on their pizza but I can’t imagine anyone doing that here. The crust is just that good! My pie is a hole in the wall with only 4 barstools available. You’re better off taking your pizza to go! The crust is definitely what makes the pizza unique and incredibly delicious. The crust is thin and crispy and made with no sugar. A «slice» is actually two square pieces so «1.5 slices» is the perfect amount for me. However, since you can’t order 1.5 slices, I always round up and get 2 slices with toppings(around $ 10.34 with tax) and save the remaining piece for later. It’s a bit pricy for pizza but I have yet to find another place with a similar crust. My top pick would be the chicken buffalo slice, which has chicken marinated in spicy buffalo sauce and ranch.

The Grandma pizza was amazing! The sauce is made of real tomatoes smashed! Excellent mozzarella cheese and lots of it. The crust is thin and really light and crunchy! Perfect. Only a few stools to sit on. It would be a 5 if there were real tables! But the flavor — which is the food, is a 5!

When I’m in NYC I normally go to Joe’s to satisfy my pizza cravings but today I didn’t have the time to make the trek downtown. I opted for My Pie on Lexington Ave in midtown and was pleasantly surprised. The pizza was different, square pizza with a thin crust and very little oil(grease). The sauce was sweet and tasty and the various toppings all looked good. I had a slice(the slices are rather large) of the grandma’s pizza and a slice of the margarita. They were very similar and both were good. I wouldn’t put this in the top tier of pizza places in NYC but if you’re in the area and looking for something cheap, fast, and a little different than I recommend My Pie.

First time trying vegan pizza, it caught my eye because it looked so delicious, and it was! Buffalo chicken is one of my all time favourites and they do it well. The slices are big, and the crust has that snap all great pizzas have. Icing on top of the cake? It’s all natural and organic for the most part

One word: DELICIOUS!!! Nice, thin, crispy crust. Fresh ingredients. Great pizza! I ordered a slice of «Grandma’s Pizza”-GREAT! It has regular mozzarella & part skim mozzarella & Parmesan cheese. About $ 5& change. Served cut in 3pieces. See my photos. Then I had a slice of the Regular, also quite delicious & about $ 4. Bottom line: A DEFINITEYES-HIGHLYRECOMMEND. This pizza is not like our typical«slice pizza places”-I would say you should try & get over to My Pie & have some yummy, fresh pizza ASAP. I wish I had a slice now! There were just 4 swirling stool/seats. The place may be small but the taste is HUGE!!! Hooks on the wall at the 4 swirling round wood seats. Put your tote bag, backpack, man-bag :) or handbag on the hook. Keep your camera bag on you. See my photos of the hooks on the lower wall & underneath the small counter where you may sit & enjoy the FRESHESTTASTINGSLICEEVER. Really EXCELLENTPIZZA. Average slice price is $ 4 to $ 5 dollars, but SOFRESH&DELICIOUS! Ok, are you ready for what I’m about to say here? Can you guess? After just one bite of your slice of pizza, you will be hooked! Lol. VERYTRUE!

Really solid pizza. I think my favorites are the grandma and the buffalo Mozz. Delivery is quick and the service is all around good. One complaint — when you order a whole pie you can’t do half one variety and half another, they make you just do slices which gets more expensive.

Surprise! This little hole in the wall– basically a non– descript Roman style take out joint sells some kick ass pizza! If it weren’t for a recommendation from a very classy Uptown lady whose son is in the local food business I would walk by. The ugly display cases and reasonable looking pizza wasn’t enough. It was the taste. Roman squares– I went with a Carameilized Onion. $ 4 The crust was ultra crispy and the flavor of the pizza worked! Spicy olive oil– my fave pizza condiment is liberally available. I will be back!

A day of shopping can certainly bring the hunger out of a girl and her beau. Since we had reservations later in the day and my appetite is not the biggest, I was in search of a food spot located within the vicinity of the shops and offered a quick bite. We stumbled across this spot and made our way in. The location is super small, has 4 seats to stay and eat, and allows approximately a max of 10 people in the store at one time — if that. On to the pizza… For such a small location, their selection of pie slices was abundant. I would like to say there were at least 15 slice options, including vegan and vegetarian. I selected the mushroom slice and my guy selected the buffalo chicken slice. The crust was crispy(not hard) and moist, the slice was gooey and cheesy, and the mushrooms were abundant. If we had no reservation, I would’ve went back for a second slice. The buffalo slice was ranked high amongst his favorites so let’s just say he enjoyed his slice as well. I’m not big on visiting the same place twice when venturing away from home; however, I may return to grab a few slices for our flight home. A must try for a quick bite!

Wow. Wow. Wow. Phenomenal pizza topped with fresh, flavorful ingredients. We came here about an hour before closing on a Sunday night so we weren’t surprised that it was slim pickings as far as selection went. One slice is actually two small squares so the husband and I ordered a buffalo chicken and a grandma nonnina and were able to split them. Though the buffalo chicken was delicious and perfectly done, it really can’t even compare to how amazing the grandma nonnina was. The sauce was flavorful but not overpowering the fresh basil or fresh mozzarella that they import weekly from Italy. I would have been happy with just that slice though the menu looks great and I look forward to trying others in the future. This pizza is truly a labor of love and you taste that in every bite. Thank you Unilocal for helping me to find my pie!

Finally I’m eating at my pie! I guess in order to impress a person like me who has absolutely no hype in pizza, the place has to be remarkable — my pie just did that. The store was small however you could choose to dine in. They also have been displaying all the pizza selections in front you so you would get a rough idea before ordering. I instantaneously ordered the zucchini artichoke pizza with mushrooms on top — the artichoke was so juicy that it literally popped up in my mouth! To my surprise, the pizza was not at all greasy(unlike some .99 cent pizza) and the crust was very thin(yet crunchy). I could literally eat another slice! I guess price does explain something here, as you usually would not be paying 5 dollars for a single slice of pizza; nevertheless the flavor justified everything.

A pricey choice when compared to your average slice joint, but the Grandma Nonnina pies are well worth the markup. They are more substantial, topped with fresher and more flavorful ingredients and seem to be, without fail, delicious. I don’t find myself in the neighborhood often — the last time I was only a block away because my wife was having eye surgery, and I may or may not have let her wander into the street blind as I savored the truffle mushroom slice — but I can always make some room and some time for My Pie when I do.
