I love that this store is 24 hours bc I have a schedule that fluctuates like crazy. Not to mention, I love the employees. They’re always in a good mood no matter the hour. This is a wonderful neighborhood supermarket.

This 24 Hour supermarket is surely one of the most reliable things in my life. Having a last minute beer pong party? Market Fresh. Want to bake a pie and need obscure ingredients? Market Fresh. Need a raw whole chicken and a head of broccoli? Market Fresh. It’s 24 hours, it’s fairly priced, and it takes credit card. They have a $ 10 credit card minimum and are sometimes strict about it. Then what happens is I send my boyfriend out for milk, but he comes back with milk, a six pack of beer and some Cheetos. But other than that, this place is a life saver.

Yes, it is a Market… No, it is not Super or Fresh. Given all of the actual fresh markets on PPW, I cannot understand what this place has to offer other than being 24×7. Produce is not fresh. Selection is mediocre. Low turnover. Over priced. So, yes, we shop there when it is the only option. The rest of the time, we avoid it. Maybe this is the price of 24×7 convenience.

I do most of my shopping here, and I find the owners and the staff to be VERYVERY nice. Grocery prices are good, and the specials, when available are good too. But I find their produce often spoiled and even when fresh to be of relatively poor quality. Produce prices are not that much better than those of the neighborhood competition a block or two away(although grocery prices are, in general.) They really should pay more attention to the produce, as it is near the store entrance, and its shabby condition gives an inaccurate picture of the rest of the store. I don’t eat non-kosher meat so I can’t comment on their meat dept.(It would be nice if they carried some Empire poultry products, which are pre-wrapped at the factory, and some reliably kosher brands of hard cheese. But this isn’t a Jewish neighborhood, so one can’t really demand it.) They do carry a small quantity of vegetarian meat substitutes that are Kosher and some cheeses with a sort of kosher certification that not everyone feels is reliable. There are always unpacked boxes blocking the aisles, sometimes prices are not marked, and I find that the specials are often stocked in very low quantities(I have never asked for a rain check — don’t know if they give them.)

This store is great… they have a large selection of groceries… They are open 24 hours… the owner and workers are very pleasant and accommodating. If you ask them to stock something they try to get it for you. Runs weekly sales… They also will deliver if you need that service. The only reason I didn’t give them a fifth star isin my opinion, the meat dept. needs to cut the pork chops or steaks a little thicker. Their cuts are too thin. Otherwise, this store fits the bill. Thanks Fresh Market for expanding and helping the people of Windsor Terrace to be able shop locally.

I’m very glad to have this market in the neighborhood, especially since they’re open 24 hours and take credit cards. The produce is not so great, but their snack selection is. And we were pleasantly surprised by how yummy and plentiful the sandwiches from the deli are.

Far from perfect, but perfectly situated! Right in the middle of the food desert where Windsor Terrace and Park Slope have merged, they do a heroic job just keeping the shelves stocked in this tiny space. They do run out of stuff a lot and I agree with most of the criticisms written by others on this page. BUT I am grateful to have a supermarket here. Rents in this area are so high, you have to wonder how they can make a profit.(Isn’t that what makes a food desert in such an affluent area?) They do an important service to people who cannot travel to buy groceries and try to provide a wide variety. Prices are fairly reasonable given the location. Generally they are responsive to criticism and suggestions and are improving as they go along.

The name of this business is not only clumsy and redundant but also misdescriptive – they proudly sell not just overripe but rotten produce here.

Decent selection but the aisles are always filled with unpacked boxes making it really hard to find anything.
