This place is decorated nicely and has good drinks, but it isn’t really a good place to meet and hang out with friends. The seating is sparse and not too conducive to getting people face to face. I think it works good as a hotel bar which it is, not so much as a place for a group of New Yorkers trying to hang out.

We went in and menu said $ 6 for beer and wine happy hour till 6, EVERY DAY. They charged us FULL PRICE per drink instead. When we went to argue the bill, they said we ordered after 6. Check the ordering system — guaranteed we ordered before 5:45. They lied and cheated us — I hope the manager reads this and fires the bartenders.

Not many cocktail on the menu and far from being outstanding. 15 $ each of them even during happy hours. Service and atmosphere are just average. I don t recommend it.

Although a hotel bar, it does kind of feel like a local pub. Small plates come from Sarafina, not a bad thing, and the bartenders make you feel at home. Nice lounge area with live music three times a week, that’s a winner for the UWS.

If you want a bar to actually relax at and be able to hold a conversation without shouting then this is the place to go. Great environment, friendly bar tenders, and excellent cocktails. It’s one of those places that make the UWS great.

Went here to other night to grab a few drinks with an old friend. Had a really great time and loved the décor of the place. The drinks were great. Totally see myself returning. It took a little while to get the attention of the only server, but other than that everything was great

Cool little spot. Nice intimate bar with reasonable drinks… It was kinda unclear where to get a menu and how to order food but the staff is very friendly and the food is decent. Nice place to charge devices and relax!

Went there last Saturday night after a movie and it’s really awesome. You can listen to live music and drink AND have your dog with you. I mean how great is that?
Our server was super nice, the drinks were good and I loved the overall vibe of the place.

I LOVE this bar. We happened to stay at the NYLO Hotel last weekend, and this is the bar in the lobby. Incredibly comfortable, AND they allow dogs! Couldn’t be better.

Went here last night, a Saturday, for some drinks with my coworkers. It’s a nice cozy hotel bar, with a great selection of drinks and some snacks. If you’re in a snacking mood, I recommend the cheese fries, they were delicious!

Wasn’t staying at the hotel but came in for a drink. Took a little while to get a drink but it was a good G&T.
I came primarily for the music (piano mainly) but there wasn’t anyone playing when we got there around 11PM on Saturday.
The bar is relatively small. A cool feature is that one side has regular seats (not bar stools) that you sit at the bar with. They looked comfy.
I had a drink with my friend while we watched news on the big screen. There were mostly couples in the lounge and at the bar. Decent crowd, I’ll be back to see if I can hear some of that piano.

I really dig this place. You can grab a drink and watch live music on Thursday and Saturday nights (there may be more on the schedule than this)– but Thursdays is a terrific jazz vocalist her sings her heart out while I drink wine. Great combo. Comfy couches or bar stools (or comfy bar seats) — there is a range of seating options. This spot blends into the lobby of the hotel– so you’ll also see people checking and people sitting on their laptops (there is a high top table w outlets etc). Price are reasonable for wine and they have a great selection. I’ll be back.

Came here for a Unilocal event. Nice little hotel bar in the UWS. Décor is nice and the crowd is good. The bartenders were really friendly and attentive and so was the hotel staff that I came across. The bar is clean and classy and although small, is a great bar. They also served different kinds of pizza and they were all surprisingly good. Would definitely stop in for a drink if I was in the area.

First time here. We were comped a room upgrade to a small suite with free wifi! Lobby has free charging stations, computer terminals and printers Rooms clean bright and inviting. Relaxing in the bar was nice. Great atmosphere. Hip without pretension. Tuesday night has a great band playing.
