I wish I could give no star. This place is the worst place ever. Manager is the weirdest the staff is the laziest the food is baaaad!
Over all of these it crazy expensive!

First time trying to get in, my friend and I were declined I guess do to space issues that night. However the second time we went on a Saturday, there was no issue and we got in. It was pretty fun, the bar was packed but the dance floor was the perfect size and it wasn’t too crowded. I liked the music but they play a lot of Latin music. I wish they would play more top 40’s. Overall it was a fun experience for me and my girls.

If I can give this Place a review it would be a negative –99 this place turned us down for absolutely no reason actually maybe it was because we were visiting from Los Angeles and we weren’t a returning customer… But the other day we randomly walked in here and tip $ 300 and they had no problem the first 15 minutes… Anyways long story short that’s discrimination … That’s messed up i’m kind of happy we didn’t get in because this place is underground and with all that smell it causes anxiety …

It’s a cool club with hookah in a prime location, and there’s a very powerful sound system. That said, apparently they owe my promoter friend over $ 2k. Additionally, they came up to us and tried to extort us once we were inside and sitting. They also kicked us out of our table to make room for other customers with a bottle. Look, I understand clubs in NYC, and this place has potential, but not great management. Maybe we came on an off night.

good place for a saturday night. Hoookahs are decent so is the music, one of the few places that doesnt give you too much trouble at the door.

I celebrated my birthday here on a Saturday night. My friends & I had a great time. We bought bottles and hookahs for a fairly reasonable price. The music was great. A whole bunch of throwback music. I felt like I was in high school again! The staff is awesome and very accommodating. The only con about this place is that it’s really tight. I had people bump into my the whole night which was really annoying and hard for me to dance.

Nice place! Love the Hookah. Doorman was the biggest asshole ever. Very rude and I’ll never go there again.

Had a great time there, a very decent place, shawerma sand. Was really good and fresh, and the hookah was so flavored I got the blue mist one was so satisfied … give it a shot definitely recommended.

The hookah here is by far the best I’ve ever had and possibly the best in NYC. I was here on a Thursday night and DC played great music selection. The food is okay and the atmosphere is very chill and relaxing. The staff at Le Reve, makes the experience even much better.
Our Server, Ana is one of the best servers I’ve had the pleasure of meeting. Her friendly positive attitude in conjunction her honest in regards to recommendations was top notch. She frequently stopped by our table to check and ensure that we were doing okay and didn’t need anything else. Our experience at Le Reve was made better by her. In all honesty, I’d recommend this place to everyone. Should you find yourself in NYC, pay this place a visit.

I was there Wednesday night, the place is very nice. Hookah is okay, but the people who was there are very very cheap.

Place is really fancy for a hookah lounge. Service was great and the staff was nice and attending. I’ve met the owner he is a nice guy and hard worker. A long list of hookah selections I always go for Apple only but that’s just me. I recommend le reve and if you’re reading this please go try it u won’t be disappointed.

I was looking for a place with hookah, drinks and good food with great a décor. This place has great drinks, great décor and basic food. I’d give this place 4 stars for the first two and for food I’d say a 3. The lamb didn’t seem like it was cooked all the way. And the gratuity came on my bill automatically and it was just me on my tab! I couldn’t find my server I had to ask random people for drinks and flatware. She was hiding in a corner by a podium.

Hookah was great! Flavorful and strong.
Food was bar food with a few higher end items but it all tasted great. I went for afterwork happy hour and had a great time. Mixed crowd but a lot of fun. Bartenders were friendly and knew what they were doing as far as mixing drinks.

I came here for a random Happy hour 2 weeks ago. The vibe and the music was great! The crowd was late 20’s to mid thirties professionals. The bartenders were nice and friendly.
The reason I gave it four stars was because of the lamb sliders and the fries. Those lamb sliders was soooooooo good!!! If ever I re-​visit I will definitely try the sliders again. Oh yea… the drinks were good too. I ordered a white sangria and it was made correctly.

A friend hosted her birthday here on a Saturday night, couldn’t get enough of the décor, the food, drinks and overall vibe. The party began at 8:30 so it was not super crowded, and we had our own little alcove.
Food: the food was great! Love the hot wigs (spicy but not too saucy, which I appreciated since i didn’t want to be wearing hot sauce all night) a few different kinds of hummus, and mozzarella sticks.
Drinks: we were served sangria which was really good– not too strong so we could enjoy it all night.
Atmosphere: the music was great, energetic vibe and fun! It was a great place to just relax and have a good time.

Was here for a day party. Had a fantastic time celebrating my friends’ birthdays. The food was average — nothing spectacular. We had bottled service. Our waitress was really nice. The only frustration was that it was difficult for me to use my phone — it doesn’t matter which carrier you have, the reception sucks.

Had a great time BECAUSE I was with my girls.
We came here for a friend of a friend’s birthday party and actually ended up at another table. Fun Saturday night and a good way to take your mind off an anniversary.
The spot has a Morrocco themed design which was great and the bartender always remembered my drink «Club Soda with nothing in it!»
The music was INTERESTING.
Very HIP HOP. You can tell it was a night for birthday parties due to the sheer amount of birthday sparklers going off.
I think the 3 of us were the whitest ones there but we got down to the music and left when the club/​lounge closed.
This place is small and there are 2 bars side by side.

think this place was called Volsted before it changed to Le Reve… always loved the place. Volsted was cool– quaint bar/​lounge but not too many people. I like that to a certain degree but now its more vivacious! Energy here is amped up. Hookahs are bit pricey but okay. They didnt have the milk or liquor on bottom option so kinda didnt like that. and some of their tables are very flimsy and hazardous — for the hookahs– people including waitresses kept kicking our table on the way –was kind of annoying –and one bad thing that happened was one of the waitress literally kicked it so hard by mistake that coals landed on my girl friend and burnt her– the waitress dd apologize but didnt comp us– only gave us 1 round of drinks which was watered down– kinda sucked! i was not there when it happen but my gf was not happy about that! :(
We had a hookah which they added 20% gratuity on — they also wanted to charge us for some of the drinks — after complaining they took only the drinks off (which i thought they were gona comp anyway) …anyways i didnt like that at all about them!!!
They were lucky my gf didnt sue them for burning her-​and her dress which was a $ 100 dress she ll never wear again– she actually got a 3^rd degree burn it was more visible the next day– if i knew how badly she got burned things would have been different.
This is the only reason i would NOT give them 4 stars. although the place is nice — service is pretty bad. It was a shame they dealt with the situation the way they did.

This place has turned over quite a bit in the past 10 years, I suppose that’s normal for NY… and in all of it’s forms I have still gone to this location. LOL
Went for a date night with my gal … we bought a Groupon. It was worth it. The food was good, on a scale of 1 – 10 it was a 5. Nothing to write home about but it was NOT bad, I didn’t end up sick on the floor, and there was SO MUCH food that we ended up having doggy bags. So, it’s not bad at all.
The service was good. The décor is what it is, it’s kind of tacky… lol BUT what’s terrible is that this place is always a lounge and as a result it always is kind of gross. It smells gross, the furniture is gross. The bathroom stalls don’t lock.
So, if I were to go back it would be for a drink … not food, the idea of eating in a place like this skeeves me lol BUT that was the only downside. For me, personally, it was a big downside. I’m sorry. :(
