If you like falafel, don’t bother with this place. Just don’t. The flavor is bland and you can do better, much, much better. This is NY after all. I gave it two rather than three stars because it wasn’t inedible. It just didn’t do anything for me. The price is reasonable, yes, but this isn’t quality falafel. Also, unlike many other falafel places, this one offers a limited number of toppings(4), after which they will charge you an additional fee. Not worth it.

NOTODDLERFRIENDLY. After joining my friend, who lives across the street, for lunch I was greatly disappointed with this place. We purchased food from several restaurants and then afterwards my son was running around the perimeter not disturbing any of the other diners. But the garbage man did not like us running around and had security ask us to leave on the premise that it was«private property» and the«floor was hard so he could hurt himself». DONOTBRINGYOUKIDS if they like to move around, you will be asked to leave even if you purchased food. NEVERAGAINWILLWEGOBACK. Food here was pretty good but we won’t be going back.

Surprisingly good fast food Mediterranean After searching Midtown for somewhere we could eat lunch AND sit down indoors(naïve, I know), we settled on this Chickpea in the Citi building. The staff was quick and friendly, and my falafel pita was delicious! I liked being able to bick between the different flavored humus options. Great choice for a quick lunch, and there are tons of tables in the food court/atrium.

Food was okay and lunch deal price is alright too. They didn’t get my order right but replaced it for free quickly. How can you forget the quinoa in the quinoa salad though?! The hummus plate is a good deal though. As long as you don’t load of on on the extras, this place is very affordable.

The food tastes really good usually but the service is awful. 90% of the time my order is delivered wrong and almost always takes an hour to arrive. If I ask for dressing on the side they dump it in the salad, if I order soup, they forget the pita, if I order falafels there’s no white sauce included, hard boiled egg is not an option through Seamless but it is through their site. I walked over to a location and while my order was right the workers are downright rude. I was really trying to like this place since the nutrition information is available but it’s not worth it.

This location is across the street from my work, and in the same building as my gym so I go almost everyday. I love the falafel & hummus platter. I feel satisfied after but in a good way… not like eating fried falafel! I love that they bake it here so it’s healthier. They also have a new app where you can order ahead of time which is great. The only thing they could improve on is the service. Often times the employees are laughing and having their own conversation.

If you are looking for a hearty serving at lunch, this is your spot. For a shade over $ 10, you can enjoy a platter of you choice of hummus, meat, falafel and side. It came with a small stack of pitas as well. They have a large range of salads, pockets/pitas, or platters of your choice. The line moves fairly quickly and it seems to be overall pretty clean and convenient. If you stop over on a rainy day, there are plenty of places to sit in the atrium.

I work in the Citi building, and this is — by far — the best of the«fast food» options in the food court on the lower level. By the way, if you work in the building, tell them — you get a 10% discount. The concept is fairly simple: Start with a pita sandwich, a platter, a wrap, or a salad. Pick a hummus(four of five flavors; I like their pine nut and basil and their original with LOTS of fresh parsley on top). They also now offer baba ghannouj instead of hummus(for $.75 more). Then choose a protein(which they are VERY generous with — the grilled chicken and the cajun chicken are quite good, but the lamb & turkey kebab is tasty.) and then four vegetable toppings, Chipotle assembly line style. The veggie options that are included are separated in two sections with the add-on ingredients in the middle(they try to get ya). So if you want guacamole, egg, marinated eggplant, feta cheese, et al, it will cost you, but I am perfect happy with cucumbers, tomatoes, roasted red peppers, and banana peppers on my salad. The set-up doesn’t allow the staff you hear you very well, so speak up(and look at them!) while you’re ordering. They aren’t dim, they just can’t hear. Smiling goes a long way, too. They can get pretty busy, but the line is almost always worth it, in my opinion.

First, this Chickpea is in the Citigroup building. I had ordered from Seamless Web and took two passes to find it– because I never knew this mall existed. Good fun. I like new finds. Soon as I spotted Chickpea, I wove my way across the food court(where someone was playing a baby grand) and went right to the pick up counter, they made my falafel right then and there. They told me they don’t premake them because they don’t want the pita to get soggy, so ordering online actually just gets you a front of the line pass. Works for me! The falafel was great. Perfect texture, super fresh. Could be a bit more flavorful but I’m picky about my falafels. With all the add-ons, most won’t notice. And the protective packaging is minimal, recyclable and functional. I look forward to enjoying Chickpea more.

I like it! came here to grab a Chicken Shawarma wrap with jalapeño scallion hummus, cucumbers, tomatoes, lettuce and hot sauce. The ingredients all tasted very fresh and with a bag of chips the damage came out to about $ 9.8X. Not the cheapest option, b ut I guess it’s standard. Maybe I was hungry but I thought the wrap was very good! It does get messy though, and did start to fall apart towards the end but I guess that’s just how wraps are and you can’t really blame them for that. Will return to try out some of their other options here, I would like to know if they heat up t heir wraps as well. I did see toasters behind the counter, maybe you have to just ask?

When there are so many great places to get hummus and falafel, why go here? I ordered a hummus/falafel plate and added chickpeas and cucumbers. Topping I chose was mint cilantro. The falafel were hard and cold, as if cooked hours ago. The mint cilantro topping was inedible. I stopped in, having never been and it was lunchtime. I won’t be going back.
