I came all the time for the chicken and sancocho soup… delicious, the best soup in the neighborhood, but one day I decided to get breakfast and when my delivery arrived I roach crawled out of the bag omg!!! I called and explained they apologized told me to rid it bring the receipt and they will reimburse me for what ever I want for the same price. I received everything that was already packaged cookies, juice, cake etc. that was grosss, but they did not give me any problems.

— can be a bit of wait for food since the place is so small, but once you get your order in, it’s almost immediate — my new go-to for breakfast sandwiches, around $ 3 for sausage, egg, cheese on a bagel(well proportioned), can’t speak for the rest of the food — very reasonably priced for the area(in general)

What happened to you Kito? You used to be good, you used to be a no thrills, fast place with decent food and polite staff and now? Now you have a stupid counter which is impractical and a dumb height, your counter staff, especially that idiot woman with glasses, are rude, slow, rude, incompetent, rude, idiots and wait… did I mention rude? And you just handed me a stale English muffin so BOO to you, don’t quite understand the ill thought out«face lift» but whatever midlife crisis you’re having it needs to be over already because you just suck. What a huge disappointment. You couldn’t have got it more wrong at every possible turn, you have left no stone un-turned when it comes to shoddy quality, horrible staff and bad décor.

Friendly staff, good decent sandwiches. It’s great for grabbing a quick bite around Empire State building. The place is sloppy though.

new owners, charges tax now for breakfast, no more selling of beer. they use iPads now as a cash register and the cook and the helpers are new except for the long hair guy with hair net. I rather get my tea and food elsewhere now. last week their register couldn’t accept credit cards and their ATM machine was broken. wtf, thanks for having a sign telling customers so they wouldn’t order breakfast before paying and having to realize it’s cash only and looking like a fool and starving all at the same damn time.

This deli has a good location, good prices and seems clean, but I was served a bagel with a bit of mold on it. I will not be coming back again.

WARNING: RIP-OFFALERT! If you are not a «regular,» you WILL get ripped off. Stopped in this morning and ordered a bacon and egg sandwich on a roll. The store flow has you order at one end of the counter, then proceed to the other end to pay before you get your food. The guy who takes your order shouts it to the cashier, who rings you up. In my case, the shouter announced I was getting a bacon, egg, ANDCHEESE sandwich, which was $ 3, instead of the $ 2.50 I was planning to pay. No matter, I figure — it’ll just be a more indulgent breakfast than I anticipated. Happy Monday to me. EXCEPT, when I opened my sandwich back in my office — NOCHEESE… should have known. I’ve heard similar stories from first-time(and last-time) friends as well…

My coworkers and I order breakfast here every morning because they are the closest deli to our office and their food is also decent. However, lately they’ve been so rude to us over the phone, and their prices have increased. On top of their prices having increased, I always feel like they overcharge me $ 2 – 3, but when I try to look at the receipt to try and account for the extra charges, you can’t even decipher it because it’s hand written in some sort of hybrid chicken scratch lol. You can’t even call to complain because they’ll be twice as rude or hang up on you. The delivery guys are really nice though, and they always hear me out. So really 1 star for the only nice people there, and the other for the food.

Im on the fence about this lil olé place. It seems clean, but i still get the sense its dirty. The tables and chairs are sticky and its kinda run down. theres just a dingy feeling about it. And i have to agree with a statement made by another woman on here, the men who eat & work here that take a seat to either eat or drink coffee, will check you out alot. i felt awkward biting into my sandwhich because they were watching my mouth open and close in a perverted way. starring at my legs and watching me get up to get a fork. the egg salad looks disgusting but tastes great. I asked for a sample, because it looks so gross — very yellow and plain. but you will be fooled. pizza wasnt terrible, but nothing to rave about. just because things are on the menu – doesnt mean they will have it. they sell beer =D

Gotta love a place that has your coffee made to perfection when you get to the register. Minimal speaking prior to sufficient caffeine intake is always appreciated.

+ Quick in and out service. + Breakfast bagels for $ 1.25 — $ 2.50. Portions are filing for breakfast. + Employee remembers what I order ever time and asks me if I want the same item(sausage with egg) before I order. Personalized service. — At random times between 9:30AM and 10:00AM the line is 5 – 10 minutes long. — The price increased 50 cents recently. Ironically the price increase resulted to a longer line.

Confession: I was on my way to a pizza joint somewhere around this one but got lost and landed here. And I must say, it was a happy accident! Came here today after shopping around with my mother and I must say, that pepperoni slice was heavenly! Not really much else to say, all I had was a slice but it was delicious. 4 stars for pizza — 1 star for the thirsty employees. It’s a little uncomfortable to eat a slice while someone is eating you with their eyes, ugh, men… Any who, I would def stop by for another pizza when I’m around 34th St.

Decent little place in Midtown. Good amount of space to sit down. Kitschy-but-ok décor. Deli sandwiches, salad bar, and pizza(about standard for the neighborhood). My sandwich was tasty and the black-and-white cookie I had was pretty good(I’ve had some really awful ones, so I feel like it’s a good judge of a deli). Not a huge selection of drinks or snacks(cookies and such) but ok. I’d eat there again for sure.

I love these guys. My coworkers and I order breakfast almost every morning. Typically a mixture of the same breakfast items(muffins, fruit bowl, breakfast sandwiches) I think they recognize our orders now because they toast our bread the way we all like it and same with the preparation of our eggs. Great food an polite delivery guys.

Unilocal comes to the rescue again! Just got back from a trip to NYC, was forever wanting to find«something to eat near where I’ll be», and Unilocal kept turning up winners. Kito was just another totally acceptable breakfast stop that I’d never have found if I hadn’t been looking for something to eat near the Empire State Building.

I like my coffee like I like my men… strong and robust. And so much coffee in the Murray Hill area is nothing more or less than bear spit in a paper cup. Which is why I look at Kito as a miracle from heaven, because I can get a downright brawny cup of joy to my exact temperature and milk specifications from an extremely friendly and efficient clerk for 80 cents. I’m sure if I tried the bagels, I’d love them too.

It’s a nice deli. It has a nice selection, not just for take out, the prices are reasonable. The people behind the counter are professional and personable and I look forward to going there.
