Kill Bar at Times Scare is the piece that completes the puzzle, but leaves you unimpressed by the big picture. The décor is what you would expect at a haunted house and it definitely delivers. They have nightly drink specials and a decent happy hour… Simply put, you can get pretty buzzed for cheap if you’re nervous about the whole experience or you need to wind down after the ordeal is over. Service was lacking terribly though. There was only one bartender(which makes sense… it was a Wednesday in February, so it was not anywhere near busy), but she spent more time chatting with her friends than being attentive and refilling empty glasses. All in all, Kill Bar gets the job done. It’s not a destination spot by any means, but it’s a pretty nifty perk for a haunted house that operates year-round.

came here for my friends going away party. this place is near our job so it was a short walk here from radio city music hall. sooo the drinks range rom $ 8-$ 13. I recommend black death or 3 reasons. 1. its $ 82. it comes in a big cup so its worth the money 3. when u mix everything together it turns black. I had a great time here and I would come back again

I love this place… I had no idea what to expect, maybe that it was just a tourist place. but I met people here, did the show(which was awesome too!), and I had a great time, good drinks, really good prices, super nice staff, everyone that worked here from security to bartenders to actors in the show were superbly nice and fun. This is my new favorite NYC bar!

I imagine it’s very interesting to work here. I was taking a break from the office, walking down 8th Ave by the Port Authority Bus Terminal when I heard a skull-faced hawker encouraging passers-by to eat at the«Crypt Café Times Scare ressstaurant and barrrrr!», so I went in. The food is mediocre and the wait for its preparation was long, even though the place was empty. I wouldn’t really recommend eating here unless you are already going to see one of the shows and are looking for convenience. The décor isn’t that innovative, either. They are going for a morgue look, with a bunch of little doors hinging off the walls, but they don’t really pull it off.

The menu was wildly creative and themed — had a great ambiance not to mention the haunted house was SCARY! I’d come back for a 2nd helping!

The Crypt Café is a food spot located in the horror attraction«Times Scare». Prices are reasonable, the atmosphere is great but the food was definitely on the scary side. Well, not really that grave, but I couldn’t resist the metaphor. It’s run of the mill fast food. The menu has creative names for selections like the Beelzebub burger and«The Beast». If you do eat here I recommend you get the road sliders they were good. Everything else was okay but the fries sucked. They came very cold and on the hard side. Over all, not awful, just not scrumptious.
