If you want to pay 50 dollars for your feet to be soaked in a bucket while you sit in a hair dryer seat, this is the place. Oh, and get your nails cut way too short!

This review is for their nail services. The technician cut my toenails much too short and rounded, telling me it would prevent nail fungus? Uh, no, it’s an invitation for ingrown nails. The polish was done sloppily and one of my nails has already smeared — 4 hours later. Also, the technician was too busy talking on the phone and doing her own toenails to ring me up when I was done drying.
The hair cuts are done by a different person and the customers who were in there seemed happy. But I will not be returning here again for a pedicure.

I have been going here on and off for a long time. I started with one stylist when I had really short hair and that was fine, but as I grew it out I needed a bit more finesse for my tresses. I got a fabulous hair makeover at a ritzy salon in town (David Groshen UES) but at those prices I can’t go there every time i need a haircut! I rely on Adele for the cuts and color most of the time. She really takes her time and easily follows the high-​end cut PLUS preserves my highlights when she refreshes the color. Added bonus — she is a really pleasant person and really appreciates the nice tips I can afford to leave bc pricing is so reasonable. G Studio is perfect for this neighborhood (quick wax/​mani/​pedi) and Adele is a GEM!
