This is a pretty solid franchise of Dunkin Donuts. The staff are generally pretty nice and the service is quick. 100000x better than the one on 178th and Broadway. Don’t even get me started on them… They’re also open 24 hours too so that’s a huge plus.

So over a year ago I wrote a fairly negative complaint about this particular Dunkin’ Donuts, and I felt so strongly about my bad experiences that I reached out to DD management. This led to the owner reaching out to me, to get clarification, which was very much appreciated. He said he was going to make changes, and guess what… He did. And the place has made a complete 180. Pretty much everyone who was troublesome before are completely gone. In their place is staff that is genuinely warm and friendly. As a regular, I’m even recognized to the point that they even make what I want before I even get to the cashier, which is the stuff you only get in small towns, in small businesses. Admittedly, there is one person left over from the old guard, who was more mindless/careless than rude like her former colleagues, plus I almost never have any interactions with her these days. Whereas everyone else, including the manager, are SUPER awesome! Mind you, I’m grading on a sliding scale here; if you were not a fan of DD’s donuts and coffee, this place will not change your mind. But once more, I wrote a pretty scathing review for a place that managed to turn itself around, which is a bit of a miracle for any corporate run entity in Manhattan, as any longtime resident can attest. Basically, if you had a bad experience there before, I encourage you to give them another chance!

The products are fine within the definition of Dunkin’ Donuts but I think DD has hurt itself by going into the fast food family. It causes long waits while employees prepare items while customers only wanting coffee are left to wait far too long for service. I Staff not really alert or service-oriented and sometimes quite pissy. I prefer the Twin Donuts two blocks south on Broadway.

I would always come into this Dunkin Donuts, and I thought, «Whatever… It’s Dunkin Donuts…» I have been in so many Dunkin Donuts across the city, that it should be similar… You get me?! LOL. So I was happy on this day because I was going to grab breakfast with my boyfriend and actually sit inside, have a nice convo over some iced coffees and bagels :). We ordered our iced coffees, and the lady came back with iced coffees and no whip cream. Who doesnt want whip cream on their iced coffee?! So I told her, and she went back… She added whip cream on both, and each had just one drop of carame, LITERALLYl! SMH, SMH… The food was whatever, but the location? The location is a problem. We saw this one lady receive her coffee… and I guess it was too full? The lady had an attitude, and started pouring some of it out on the floor!!! Then, she just walked away as if she was above the world. The coffee stayed on the floor till we left… Who knows if they even cleaned it… and when they cleaned it! OOH… They have flys everywhere, so I would not recommend eating the donuts. What made this experience THEWORSTEVER is the following– there was an older gentleman in there, sitting not doing anything… taking up seats that ACTUAL customers could be using… We sat kind of close to him, so that we would not be in the way of the line. As we were speaking, he leaned to the left and threw the biggest fart in the worldddd… It was very disgusting, and it made us nauseous; even thinking about it now is making me feel sick! We will NEVER be going back here!

Service really horrible. Staff have no idea how to make something as basic as a smoothie and then overload them with ice and charge a fortune.

Service is key and let me tell you, this place hasnt learned that yet. when completely empty, they still rush you in choosing a dozen donuts. they give you the eye, tap their feet, say things like«hurry» and«why didnt you already decide» i mean whats the big rush? you gotta take a dump or something? sheesh. its not like there is a big line behind me.(then id understand) the only reason why you are getting 2 stars instead of 1 is because after 5pm, its buy 6 donuts, get 6 free. i mean i dont think ive seen an other dunkin donut do this before. so i suffer the bad service to get 6 free donuts. their selection isnt even the greatest! just the typical ones. KRISPYKREMERULES!(just had to put it out there)
