I loved working with Adrian and recommend his services to anybody. I was in town for the weekend only and put out a request on Thumbtack around 9 or 10 PM on Sat. night with a small hope someone would respond to me in time and be able to meet me the next morning. Adrian texted me saying he can meet me in the morning and sent me a message asking about what I was looking for and for my sizes. I replied with lots of info and texted him photos of the looks I was going for. We met at at Top Shop nearby. I was shocked by NYC’s high prices but he eased that by reassuring me we will get a few key pieces from there then proceed to H&M for less pricy fillers. It was quite an experience with him. at first I was so nervous, he made me step out of my comfort zone with clothing and put together outfits I never would have dreamed up. Very quickly he got a sense for my preferences and repeatedly told me that this is MY shopping trip and that if I don’t like something to be blatently honest and tell him why and he never argued with me like some stylists do– he said if I didn’t «LOVE» it, we won’t get it. I left with fashionable outfits for my main job, side job, going out in my off-​time, casual wear… mixing and matching pieces to work for all these occasions. Got boots at Michael Kors. my first time EVER venturing into a Michael Kors store and it was successful, we got a great discount. He took photos of the outfits to email to me for my reference and did not rush the process at all. We bought shoes, jewelry, the whole 9 yards, but it was not excessive– just what I needed. He then told me to go home and reevaluate everything before buying more, so he curbed any impulsive shopping. ;) We had a private personal shopping room and he had the people at the store help to switch items out to get the correct sizes, etc. I had worked with 2 different stylists in the past and both experiences were disappointing. Give your session the time it needs (if you dont have time constraints, Adrian will take care of all your fashion needs). It felt like shopping with a friend. His hourly rate is lower than others who don’t really know what they are doing. I highly recommend Adrian Causing!

I have been working with Dalestyle for over 2 years now, I specifically work with Adrian. He has been fabulous and has changed my dressing life.
I am in fashion so I didn’t think that I needed a stylist… however that changed after the first meeting. He has been amazing, I come to him when I have to dress for events and he has also helped organise my wardrobe and help me with my day to day dressing.
Adrian really took me out of my comfort zone and introduced new styles and shapes that I never would have chosen myself.
He knows my style well now and lets me know when he see’s thing I need for my wardrobe and also any sample sales coming up.
I give Adrian and Dalestyle 5 stars as they exceeded my expectations.

I was hesitant at first hiring a stylist. I didn’t know what to think but I’m so glad I did it. Living in Manhattan everyone looks so put together. As I’m getting older I wanted to look my best. I knew I kept shopping and instead of wasting my money on things that don’t look the best for me why not hire a stylist.
I have to say I’m so glad I did. Adrian is amazing, he makes you feel comfortable right away and knows what he is doing. He went through my closet like a pro and pulled things together that I would never think of. I will be using him for all the seasons going forward.
