I dropped by this café bene location after work. Pleasantly surprised as I didn’t have his experience at other locations. Good place to catch up with coworkers over coffee. Pros: — ham and egg sandwich($ 8) was delicious —(black) coffee tasted good — cute décor — cashier was nice Cons: — I guess it’s quite popular, the place gets crowded — tables are small(for 2 people)

This little café was defiantly a cool spot to stop into. My friend and I were looking for soup in a cold day and we peeked into the window and saw that they had some to offer us. They had about 4 choices of soup including a gluten free option. Their main gearing is towards pastries and they had a great selection it looked like. Gelato was also offered and I asked for a sample and the employee was happy to give me one. The one star I am deducting is for the soup. It took about 10 minutes for my friend and I EACH to receive it. It seemed ad though they heated it in the plains container it was served in as well and that’s a huge no no for me. I refuse to reheat plastic in any way. So after waiting 10 minutes each for our food we went to the second level dining area(nice that they have that) and sat down only to be furthered disappointed by the fact that our soup was all different temperatures through but none was hot. It was warm, cold and almost frozen in spots. So unenjoyable. My advice to them? Nix the soup, stick with the pastries.

A very cute, quiet coffee shop in an area that starts begins a bit of a food desert in the city. My friend and I came here in reprieve from the cold and charge our phones and also to use the bathroom, but we did buy coffee and tea. We had eaten a hefty lunch a few hours before so we weren’t hungry, but we were thirsty. She ordered tea and I got a caramel latte. I had wanted a bubble tea but they had ran out of tapioca pearls. I was miffed, but the deliciousness of the caramel latte swept my sorrows away.

One of my new favorite places. You want coffee? they got it. Waffles, they got that too. A great ambiance, yup. Great locations and a pretty book wall fr pictures, they have that too. We popped in here during a crazy busy and rainy Christmas day, they were the savior as they were open and the coffee smelled amazing. From the over-sized cookies to the freshly made waffles, this place was making me happy. The coffee is so good and the different desert options pair so well. Wish we had this in DC.

Decent coffee and pastries but the bulgogi sandwich was gross. Way too much greasy cheese. Low quality.

Nice place to hang out while waiting for a show. Staff is terrible. Poor knowledge of coffee. The baristas do not know what a flat white is.

Extremely busy, on a Friday afternoon. Nowhere to sit. The bathrooms were terrifying, but that’s what I expect anywhere in New York. The food was the same quality as what I’ve gotten in China Town, but much more pricey. The latte I got was good, but not bursting with flavor as I’d expected. It tasted more like milk than green tea. Overall, I’d probably stop by again to try their other products like boba tea, which is pretty difficult to mess up. However, it’s probably still worth checking out all of the nearby places first.

I ordered a piece of blueberry cheese and a cup of hot chocolate. The cheesecakes are pretty expensive, very small piece and have no taste of the blueberry. The hot chocolate was a bit pricey and at least an inch was cream on top of my hot chocolate.

Got the mocha frappé. Ain’t good, I can’t really describe it. There just wasn’t any nice things to say about the drink. Chocolate was there, espresso was there but the taste didn’t satisfy me. It was a little too liquid-y. Def not worth the price. Please fix your restroom. There’s only the metal swing lock from the inside so when someone opens it from the outside, they get an awesome view at the person on the toilet before the lock gets caught. This is weird man. All of the chairs that I sat on were uncomfortable. The interior/layout is cute though.

They’re a little pricey, but at 9 pm on a Saturday night, it’s a great place to sit, rest, and recharge yourself and your phone. Hot bubble milk tea is decent, but overpriced for the quality. Their strawberry patbingsoo is phenomenal. Comes with red bean and strawberries. We split one between 3 friends and were all very satisfied! Edit: 5th avenue location does not have patbingsoo

I hung out with a friend at Caffe Bene to kill some time on a rainy Wednesday afternoon. I’m pretty sure this chain exists in L.A., and though I had never been inside one before, I intuited that it was a Korean coffee joint. I’d be shocked if I were wrong. Décor, atmosphere, everything down to the font was 100% adorable Korean café. Service was good and we were able to get a table without any difficulty. The place was bustling but not full, and we hung out at our leisure. We drank iced coffees but both admitted to feeling like we should’ve gotten something more sugary and indulgent. There were some tempting bobas and smoothies and the like on the menu. The coffee was good too, though. If you’re looking for a place to dip in and relax while walking around New York(or, you know, anywhere), a Korean coffee shop is generally a safe choice. Caffe Bene is even one of the better ones I’ve been to, and I’d recommend it if you need a coffee or just a place to unwind for a while.

Wtf caffe bene, don’t try to take my cappuccino before I’m done when there’s clearly some left. It’s rude and kinda gross when you put your hands on the cup where my mouth goes.

I really like this bakery because of its casual but clean and cozy atmosphere with to-go options as well as more«intimate» dessert options to share with friends or company. Unlike Grace Street, you don’t have to pay a minimum of $ 5 per person and you don’t have to have waiter service which can be nice on quick casual days. In terms of the desserts, their shaved ice bowls are really large(in comparison to Grace street as well). But, the one dessert I was truly impressed with was their honey cinnamon toast which I had with a scoop of vanilla ice cream. You might think that toast is just toast. But, it is not. This toast is soft and chewy and fluffy and airy on the inside while the outside is crisp and blends with the sugar cinnamon syrup perfectly. You’ll stare at the toast perplexed because it looks so plain yet it tastes so delicious. The ice cream as a side made the experience amazing because of the hot/cold contrast but I might dare to say that the bread and cream alone are wonderful.

this is a good spot. They have mainly sandwiches for food but they are of a decent price and you get a lot for your money. One sandwich and you will be quite full. Not bad for a NYC spot. In addition they have a good selection of deserts. I highly recommend the waffle combinations. They are freshly made hot waffles that are exquisite. Nothing in this spot is pricey and you get a good portion for whatever you order. Definitely for the waffles! Don’t be fooled by the samples they have on display. The actual dish is actually much larger and even tastier looking!

Voltei para o café bene para experimentar o patbingsu! O que é chato é esperar 40 minutos para ficar pronto… Se soubesse nem tinha pedido! Mas valeu a pena, é gostoso e a porção é generosa!

Lots of seating but in the evenings still hard to find a spot. Great for getting work done in the morning! Their americano is pretty good, but the shaved ice at this location is lacking and service sometimes leaves a lot to be desired. I once waited for over 30 mins for a shaved ice only to find out that they forgot to make it — and yet the girl kept insisting she made it(for another patron that had ordered later). There is wifi, but not many outlets if you need to plug in.

*** Lots of seating, Delicious desserts, Convenient location *** If you’re into asian desserts/drinks, this is the Starbucks version. Came here with a group of friends to have a quick drink and snack. The strawberry cake is so yummy and I highly recommend it. However, I’m knocking two stars because it was IMPOSSIBLE to find the second floor, the trashcans were stuffed(so we couldn’t throw our trash away), and apparently they serve lemonade but the lemonade is «sour»(according to the staff). So in short, come here for the cakes or the boba drinks.

Caffe Bene in ktown in LA is one of my favorite spots to work. This location is legit too! PROS: –Free wifi(no password required). The network name is CaffeBene –Bathroom! The code is 2855 –Enough seating for around 20 people Cons: –There is construction going on outside –The bathroom has a weird bolt lock that opens a couple inches even when locked

It’s spring time so it’s strawberry time! Yep that’s exactly caffe bene has included in their spring new menu. Strawberry latte, frappé or cheesecake ice parfait. This one at Hoboken has the extra benefit of not crowdy or noisy.
