I’ve tried many items at this location as well as W 13th St and most have been pretty good. Buffalo bites are great. Not a fan of vegan cheese and it is found in too many dishes here. Salads and wraps are very good. Reliable, if pricey, vegan fare.

Picked up a kale salad and a Philly Cheesesteak after work. HOLYCRAP… both were delicious. Service was great, super nice and quick. Delicious, close to a friend’s house. I’ll be back!

It was good but not blown away. The burger we are was great. Really enjoyed that. The Mac and cheese was dry and not so good. Also we had a quesadilla and that to me needs help. Some vegan sour cream and/or guacamole would have been much better then stale bread beans and corn and some cheese. It was good cause we were in a rush and have been here a few times but by no means our favorite must have to go type of place.

I love blossom and order from there a lot as I live in the vicinity. I had previously given them one star despite loving their food as they raised their delivery price from 13 to 17 dollars, but after complaining they came back to their 13 dollars minimum which is reasonable. This is a good sign as they listen to their customers. Good job.

Honestly, pretty gross food based off my one experience. I ordered a Blossom Bowl with greens, sweet potatoes, beans, and grilled veggies. The grilled veggies were a pile of limp brown tiny zucchinis and canned baby corn(?) that had probably been sitting around for a day or two. Sweet potatoes had also seen better days. There’s a way to do great vegan and this isn’t it — definitely in no way worth $ 12.

food is often cold and the management is terrible the too small space is too hot and the smell is overpowering, my clothes always smell like what’s cooking after waiting 15 minutes for my order they often get my order wrong and recently had me wait 20 minutes for an order that did not include the $ 2.00 worth of Kale I added to the order — when I asked for a return of my money, they didn’t know how to give me a refund they didn’t even apologize for the mistaken order or the time I waited, making me late for work

I am sitting here in blossom du jour after attempting to eat their grande burrito. I almost consumed a quarter of it being as hangry as I am. Given the vegan cheese inside is actually weirdo velveeta queso dipping cheese and the hot sauce they gave me is buffalo wing sauce I’m less hangry but in state of awe because I did not know you could make a burrito this incorrect.

They just raised the prices about 20%, which is probably going to end our relationship. It already felt like a bit of a ripoff. My fear is that they’ll gradually creep into the healthy-food-is-only-for-the-rich space formerly occupied by the loathsome Organic Avenue. Greed kills.

Sad to give this review as I use to like this VEGAN place. I ordered lunch and received it after 2 hours. UNACCEPTABLE especially that I order it at 2pm! How busy can you be at 2pm? By this time the lunch rush hour came and left at this time. I called after an hour to check on my order and they apologized to me telling me that they were really backed up today. I am like really? IT’S 3PM! I was assured the the order was about to go out the door. Nope. My order go here at 3:45pm! When the delivery guy showed up I sarcastically(I was hangry!) looked him and said: «WOW, you guys took a longgggggggg time.!» He tells me they had a problem with the internet orders. REALLY? The guy at the counter told me earlier that they were super busy. –_– I order a taco salad and a side of turmeric infused rice and black beans. A side of buffalo bites as well. OVERPRICED at $ 19.55 this meal was tasteless. It seemed like something changed with Blossom Du Jour. They used to be really good. The taco bowl consists of: Taco filling, romaine lettuce, pico, guacamole, lime sour cream, tortillas. Lettuce was wilted and the rest tasted bland! awful! The Lime sour cream; tasteless! The turmeric infused rice was dry, overcooked and tasteless. The black beans look like it was just poured straight out of the can. The buffalo bites used to be nice and crunchy. Well they were soggy… no bueno. Needless to say I will never order from them again. They truly left a bad taste in my mouth. ugh. –_– #BadFood

Seitan philly cheese steak, and the egg, cheese, and bacon muffin were delectable!!! I love that the food is so tasty, and is a great alternative to the real thing. I think I’ll stop in there for lunch sometime this week. Great find, and fast delivery!

Ok, we LOVED this place. Total disclosure though, we are mostly vegan and live in the dirty South, aka the land of fried chicken and cheese-covered everything. I cook 95% of our meals at home using only plant-based minimally processed ingredients. We have 2 vegan restaurants in our home city, so when we travel it’s exciting to have so many vegan restaurant options. Blossom Du Jour was our first stop for a quick lunch upon arrival in NYC. It’s definitely fast food and can be healthy but we chose to go off our very healthy usual diet to try the more processed faux meat and cheese type of fare. It could have been gross, but was in all honesty, completely delicious.(Maybe I’ve just really been missing melted gooey cheese typical of the Standard American Diet…) Anywho, my husband got the buffalo chicken wrap and I had some sort of melt. He’s still talking about that wrap days later. He loved it so much that he insisted we go back once more for a milkshake(mmm, you can’t go wrong with the Butterfinger) and then again for a late breakfast where he got a meatball sandwich and I ordered the burger with onion rings piled on top. We also split a tofu scramble muffin sandwich, which was the best of the 3 items. Definitely check this place out, especially if you are a vegan living in a small town with little in the way of vegan restaurant options. Even if you are from a big city, I think most vegans would appreciate BDJ!

I just LOVE Blossom Du Jour. I came to this location, because one of their other locations had run out of the Blossom Butterfinger Shake that I love so much. They have the most delicious vegan shakes… you can’t tell it’s vegan. I absolutely loved my Beet burger and am now going to try and replicate the recipe at home. 5 stars all the way. By the way, I have been to 3 locations in total and the W 23rd location is the largest and nicest location. All others are pretty cramped.

I just received my lunch from Blossom du Jour(I ordered the CYO Bowl) with Kale, Quinoa, sweet potato, carrots, and the vegan chicken tenders. Within only a few bites, I chomped down on something so hard I thought I cracked my tooth. Turned out to be a very sharp piece of metal spike! I included photos. Thankfully, I caught it before ingesting it and only hurt my tooth. Had I swallowed it, I could have cut my throat or had damage to internal organs. It’s a shame because I love this salad, but I cannot risk this happening again Update on this review: I called the manager Cliff twice yesterday and he didn’t call me back. Rather than apologizing or explaining how he is rectifying this for future customers, he told me I posted to the wrong Blossom Du Jour location!!! And that he didn’t get my messages and that I should just email . Thanks for the brilliant customer service Cliff. That said, the issues always trickle from the top down. Also, if upper management has heard of this issue, why in the world have they not reached out? Incredible!

Post-yoga decided to look around the area for some quick clean eats. Options wise this place definitely focuses on clean eats and for vegan lovers. However the prices are really a bit ridiculous for the portion you get. Ordered the Blue Velvet smoothie(acai, blueberries, strawberries, banana, vanilla, agave, soy milk) which was good but for a steep ~$ 10?! I’ll stick to my home blender or opt for water when I’m out. Also got the Power Up Kale Salad. Check the ingredients first if you have any food allergies! It was over $ 10 for the salad which was PRE-MADE too. No meat, just vegetables and quinoa. The dressing was decent but seriously not worth the price they charge. I can understand if you’re charging that much for a specialty salad with more ingredients but the fact that it was also pre-made… just disappointing. Didn’t give anything else a try but being so overpriced just killed any enthusiasm to come back.

It pains me a little bit to write this update for a vegan spot in the city, however the last few times I have been to Blossom du jour have not been good experiences. First off they seem to have changed some of their ingredients or rather added alot of oil/grease to the mix. I used to eat the UnChicken Caesar wrap quite regularly but lately It has been smothered in pesto sauce that is pretty intolerable. Today I tried the UnChicken Grilled sandwich and again it was overly sauced and kinda gave me a gross I just ate McDonald’s feeling. The Red Velvet cupcakes I used to enjoy, have lately been dry and not fresh. They need to throw out the old baked goods and stock fresh ones every day! And lastly it pained me to see the«Grade Pending» health board sign on the window, meaning they received a «B»(not good) or a «C»(major violations) and are challenging it with the City. The employees of late, all act like zombies as well, which would be fine if the food was fabulous, but it is so Not Fabulous anymore. Sad times.

4 stars but more to be revealed after I try every item on the menu… So, I have prided myself in the fact that I haven’t eaten fast food since I was 12. It’s been quite the streak. But Blossom Du Jour does actually deem itself a «fast food»(as opposed to fast casual, which I’ve eaten plenty of) establishment, so I suppose that streak is over. And I have no qualms about it. This place may serve food and it may be served to you quickly, but it’s certainly devoid of the typical fast food joint features. I’m currently on a quest to find the best healthy lunch spots around my office, and so far I’m doing quite well. I have a feeling this will become a staple of mine. Though the space itself is quite tiny, they actually have a ton of options. Bowls(you can choose up to 4 items w/dressing or opt for one of their«suggested» preparations), salads, wraps, the choices go on and on. And all of it is vegan/organic/healthy/that whole package to boot! Today I went with a create-your-own bowl(kale/quinoa/grilled veggies/lemon un-chicken w/tahini dressing) and it was fresh, flavorful and actually quite filling(how’s that for unintentional alliteration?). The un-chicken was surprisingly tasty for, well, something pretending to be chicken that honestly doesn’t taste a whole lot like chicken. But it was actually an improvement from the boring grilled chicken I’d order elsewhere(at least to my taste buds). This place is evidence that vegan food can be just as yummy and creative as carnivorous creations(that alliteration was intentional). V-cheese, un-chicken — it may all sound a bit suspect but I assure you — from someone who willingly eats meat — it’s great. One more note about the ingredients: Blossom Du Jour has a nice little glossary online/on their paper menu that elaborates on these lesser known products for the new/situational vegan(aka me). Instead of worrying that they’re loading a bunch of crap into their vegan products to make them taste like the real thing, you can plainly read the origins of said products. More vegetarian/vegan venues should do this. Just for nutrition science nerds like me. Update(not worth writing an updated review): I’ve since tried the tofu scramble with hot sauce and it might beat out the un-chicken as far as taste is concerned. Unless you’re incredibly hungry, that’s the only protein source you’ll need in a blossom bowl — it’s far more filling than the un-chicken.

My husband and I came here for lunch on a Friday. The location doesn’t have a lot of space, but we still found a few seats to sit while we ate. He ordered the Philly Cheesesteak and I had the Smokey Avocado Wrap. They didn’t mention that, if I wanted it warm, I needed to say that before I ordered it — seems like a key thing to mention. We also ordered the honey mustard bites. Overall, the meal was OK, but not great — nothing really tasted fresh and the honey mustard bites we’re dry. It’s nice to have so many vegan options in NYC, but I’ll take Terri over Blossom any day.

I’m a vegan, so this place is like a god send. I don’t have to worry about ordering for once! I had the un-chicken griller and it was delicious! Four stars because it is pretty pricy. The coconut water was SEVENDOLLARS. I was pretty annoyed but now I know better.

Maybe I’m being a little cheap, but after much patronage, I have drawn the conclusion that this place is just plain overpriced. Working in Chelsea, I’ve gotten kind of used to the $ 10 lunch average, but for a simple sandwich by itself… Sigh. And if they’re using MayWah as a supplier for some of their mock-meats, as I think they are, you get like 5 patties in a bag for $ 4.95(if I’m not mistaken). I know there’s the cost of labor, and the ungodly Chelsea rent, but something still makes me feel incredibly gouged. I adore some of their selection, just to be clear. But I decided to write this review after receiving some SAD looking buffalo chicken bites I paid 5 dollars for – again, I couldn’t believed I paid a whole five dollars for that. It was about a dollar per ‘bite’, of chicken that was ready to fall apart and give up on life, by the looks of it. It’s also worth mentioning that I’ve had issues with the App for iPhone. I’ve placed orders in advance trying desperately to save time only to arrive and being informed that they never received the order. And then trying to figure out with the cashiers(who didn’t even know about the app at the time – guess its new) if I had paid for my order or not, for a few minutes. And THEN having my order taken and being made. Making me lose time rather than saving any. I’ve ended up going to Pita Grill around the corner even when I rather have a freakin’ protein bowl – I can’t really argue against Pita Grill’s falafel pita plus french fries for 4 dollars and change.

Vegan fast food! It’s a nice small place with three tables and some more chairs to eat, you can take your order to go too. The employees are really nice and patience. The food is really good and there’s a lot of options to choose from, salads, bouls, burgers, shakes, cupcakes, juices. there have gluten free options too! It feels a little bit weird that the unchicken and the vacon taste like the real thing, is a nice way to bring veganism to not vegan people or give nostalgic vegans the same flavor but cruelty free. There is not much place to seat in, wich I get cause it supossed to be a fast food take out place, but they could have a bathroom.

I have been coming here for years. This place offers hearty vegan options, tasty salads, daily soup, juices and pretty yummy desserts. The other day I got the skyscraper. It really tasted like the vegan option for a Big Mac. Come hungry if you are ordering this item as it’s packed with a veggie pattie, 2 fried onion rings, bacon, pickles, cheese and a sauce similar in taste to the Big Mac thousand island sauce. This place is dangerously close to my gym so I will be frequenting this place more often, probably for this satisfying burger!

The Skyscraper burger is about as close as you can get to a Big Mac. Having been a former chubby fast-food junkie, everything about this vegan burger delights me– the crispness of the onion rings paired with the tangy special sauce and daiya cheese makes for an explosive taste. The Midtown Melt is also equally delectable; never heard of agave being used in a sandwich but this one was interesting! The«buffalo» bites, I find, were too soggy and saucy. Nope, I wouldn’t get them again. This place strikes me as a smaller version of Terri’s, but I think Blossom would have to take the cake for its selection of sandwiches and wraps. I just find their service a bit odd. There were too many workers at the counter and one of them asked if I wanted a straw and utensils. No, I think I’ll just scoop out the kale salad and drink the smoothie with my bare hands.
