Wings are DELICIOUS, Cheap, and the service is fast. Pretty decent student discount, and they’re super nice. Stop ordering dominos wings. These are faster and better.

Just called in to place an order. The person taking my order, Salma, was inpatient and rude. «Would you like to come in and place the order?» I’m thinking to myself and then answered to her«No I’m calling the order in!»

It was good for what it was, albeit a little expensive. The Buffalo wrap was tasty, and the hot sauce was hot enough. They put some pickles in the carry-out box, and there was a lot of pickle juice that made it in there as well… not the best. But the waffle fries were on-point. So crispy and delicious.

The place isn’t super classy, but if you are looking for some boneless wings with a good selection of sauces, I’d suggest giving it a try. It’s also right across the street from the George Washington SVA dorms.

This place is a little dingy, but it’s not a bad spot to check out if you’re craving hot wings. The first time I came here, I got the Nuclear wings which was INCREDIBLY spicy. It’s definitely my fault for getting such spicy wings, but oh man I was crying at the end. The second time, I got a much less intense flavor, and I was very disappointed. The wings were so overcooked that I didn’t enjoy it as much as I did the first time. Honestly, it’s a hit or miss here and I can’t understand how they can mess up chicken wings. To be fair, I’m only giving this place 3 stars(deserves 2) because their waffle fries are amazing. Lastly, the food here is definitely overpriced. I never felt like I paid for my money’s worth here, and I think a lot of people can agree with me on that.

Wonderful fresh cooked chicken wings, great for any time of the day. Plus the cashiers are very charismatic. Thanks boo boo!

I was intrigued by the vegetarian wings and stopped in to try them. My experience was so bad that I didn’t even try the wings when they came and let my husband have them: 1. The menu had been altered by this location so that you only get 3 buffalo wings or 5 boneless wings instead of the 5 buffalo or 7 boneless advertised, BUT you pay the SAME price of $ 9.95. So essentially the vegetarian customer is paying the same amount for LESS food than you would get at other locations and LESS food than you would get if you bought the meat version. That was incredibly bold and annoying. 2. The wings looked NOTHING like the advertised picture. You know those blog posts where people buy fast food and compare it to the picture? These wings would win for the biggest discrepancy between what’s advertised and what you get. They looked DISGUSTING. 3. You also couldn’t eat these wings with your hands. They were thin cuts of fake meat — no breading, no roundness, no color, just thin slimey looking cuts of fake meat. Honestly, it looked like cat food that someone just poured out of the can. I would have said something but the people working there just seemed to not care about the place at all. This place is dirty and small and we were the only people in there.

As a Baruch student, ‘Atomic Wings’ is a nice place to go to after class when you have had enough of the Chipotles, Subways, cheap pizza restaurants, and inexpensive food carts around 23rd st. The tastes of Chipotle BBQ and Honey Mustard boneless wings give the palate wonderful, sweet flavors that are lacking from all of the restaurants at 23rd st and around Baruch College. Even though their wings can be pricey, Atomic Wings is one of the best places to go to if you are a Baruch student. The positives for this place include wonderful service and the ‘Buy 10 menu items, Get 1 item free’ card. The hosts bring the food to you when you are waiting at a nearby table. While I was waiting for my take out, the wonderful hostess walked over to me and handed my food. I was pleasantly surprised. While ‘Atomic Wings’ is one of my favorites at the 23rd st. area, there are a couple of areas this restaurant could improve on. The restaurant can be cold and has the potential to make your waiting and dining experience uncomfortable. I have had to bring my food to the Baruch school cafeteria a couple of times because it was just too cold in the restaurant. A strong heater or sealed gaps could make a big difference to this restaurant! Another aspect this place could improve on is the quality of their wings. I typically order the boneless wings because I prefer to eat with a fork and avoid getting my hands dirty =) The texture of the boneless wings can come off dry and overcooked. The chicken itself can be dry as well. What saves the dryness of the boneless wings are the flavors/sauces that come with the wings, as well as the blue cheese/ranch dressing that comes with the wings. All critiques aside, Atomic Wings is a great place that will satisfy your hunger and leave you with a full stomach for the rest of the night.

Drunkenly stumbled in here with my friend and it was a match made in heaven. Wings AND Korean food? I do not understand how this combo works which only makes me love it more. The wings were pretty freaking fantastic. Spicy, kind of gamey but succulent(is that weird to say?). We went with the hot buffalo and jerk BBQ. Both recommended if you like saucy, spicy deliciousness. Also– it’s remarkably clean inside this little place and it was so well staffed for 10pm on a Thursday. Everyone working there was so cheery and eager to wane me from ordering the«suicide wings»(THANKYOUATOMICWINGSSTAFF). I’m a wings girl, and this place definitely doesn’t disappoint. Pretty pumped they have multiple locations so I know good wings won’t be hard to come by. Also– the older Korean lady who works might actually be the cutest grandma in the world. Just sayin…

The wings is cool… but you know what’s really winning here? The kimichi tacos! Pork rules everything around me, sorry for the folks who live a swineless life — and that spicy pork kimichi taco was delicious. I went back and ordered the chicken which was otay. It’s chicken. But the pork, the spicy pork… I’ll definitely be back for that. They give you pretty large portions, so you can definitely split a bowl or platter. I mean its A LOT of food. I went for the taco and the wings. But if I go back I think I’ll stick with the korean side, cause it was just that good..

Who doesn’t love wings? And if you don’t then why are you reading a review for Atomic Wings! I came here with a friend and loved the casual option with random movies running on the screen and the assortment of wing options available. I happily selected the medium wings, ordered at the counter, carried my tray and took a seat by the window to sloppily eat them all. After all there is nothing cute or squeaky clean about wings. Maybe one day I’ll grow one courage and order the atomic heat wings… Or I’ll come back and happily order the medium labor an avoid tearing at he eyes. Yah for option 2! But if you’re into that kind of heat Atomic Wings can certainly oblige. Drawback is there must be 4 tables at most, so if you come in the midst of a wing rush, there’s a great chance that you’ll be transporting these back to your home.

For a place that makes Korean BBQ food and your typical Wings and American food, this place has got it together. I came here to grab a quick dinner and I ordered the Classic bibim bowl and a friend got mozzarella sticks and a chicken quessadilla. What a random combination of food right? They couldnt both be good, right? But they both were! My bibim bowl had veggies, beef and a fried egg and it was delicious. The meat was tender and spicy and the food had so many powerful flavors. It came with kimchi and a spicy sauce and I really LOVED it. It was delish, I was surprised at how good it was seeing that it really isnt even a Korean restaurant. The mozzarella sticks and quesedilla were also good, but pretty standard. This is a great place if you cant decide what kind of food you want. They really do everything right!

I decided to stop by for a quick bite at 6pm before I head home. I was in the mood for wings and fries, I’ve passed by Atomic Wings numerous times but never tried it, so why not. It’s not a big place, there are about 15 seats, décor is simple but they have a big TV mounted on the wall. I opted to dine in and noticed that most people ordered it to go. Probably not a bad idea if you lived in the neighborhood. I also noticed a lot of take out deliveries, likely because it was freezing out last night! I was excited for my wings, ordered the half bone– half boneless combo, both mild and spicy. I preferred the traditional wings with bones; the boneless ones are just not the same, but still very tasty. Service was good, the staff didn’t slack and just cleaned the place up during down time. I recommend ordering wings(and more) from here for your next gathering if you live nearby.

Atomic Wings AND KalBQ? Sounds like a match made in… Flatiron. It’s a bit eclectic, sure, but the wings were good, the Korean BBQ looked fantastic(and relatively inexpensive) for fast-food, and the prices were just about right. The layout was a bit small, but not cramped. Overall, a solid choice for lunch if you’re in the area or if you happen to like wings. FOOD: Solid. A LITTLE expensive for the wings(particularly compared to other options in the area) but not outrageous. The quality was good and the other chicken options looked great, too. SERVICE: Quick, efficient. Professional. Not curt, not gregarious. This place won’t blow you away, particularly if you’re from Buffalo, Rochester, or anyt city that claims wings as their hometown food, but it’ll do you a solid when you need heat and need it NOW. A note: they have six different levels for spiciness of wings(and about as much for non-spiced flavors: teriyaki, sweet, etc.). I am a seasoned wing fan, and their«abusive» level(level four) was just about the level where I could enjoy the food and the spiciness without having to work through the heat. Those with different tastes should choose accordingly.

Most popular wing places are just quick grab-and-go type locations, but this place actually has a nice sit down area. Most other atomic wing locations that I’ve seen are just small hole-in-the-wall joints, and this one has a larger seating area for you and your friends. You can’t go wrong with their flavors — garlic parmesan is my favorite! — and you also have the option for boneless and traditional buffalo wings. Overall this is a solid place to grab wings and this location is actually my favorite.

Atomic Wings is a pretty decent place to go to for some really quick wings. Their buffalo wings have six levels of spiciness: mild, medium, hot, abusive, nuclear and suicidal. To most people anything between medium to abusive should be fine. If you’re feeling really bold, try the suicidal sauce. There are also different sauces available if you don’t like it spicy. I recommend trying garlic parmesan. Surprisingly, they also have a vegetarian menu consisting mainly of soy based wings and burgers. I haven’t tried them but my vegetarian friend claims that they’re really good. I dont know if I should believe him or not because he’s vegetarian. The wings itself were good but I don’t think it particularly stands out with wings from other places in the city. I would go as far and say that maybe they may have over-fried the wings I ordered. If you live in the area, good news, they deliver!

As a wing connoisseur, I was very excited to try out Atomic Wings. I’m not really sure how I never had these wings before, but I certainly am glad that I finally had them. This particular location is right by Baruch College and you certainly feel that undergrad experience while you’re chomping on wings. They had some good hip hop tunes blasting, a pretty young crowd, and equally as young folks at the register. These gals were friendly and efficient. Now on to the saucy stuff. My sister and I ordered medium traditional wings and Chipotle BBQ. The wings were just like I like them; crispy on the outside and tender on the inside. I wasn’t crazy about the BBQ wings but the traditional ones were spot on delish and let’s face it, traditional wings are always the best. I also had a side order of mac and cheese. At first I wasn’t wowed by them but when I looked down I realized I ate the majority of it. Call it gluttony or curiosity or maybe gluttonosity but all I know is that I was kinda converted into enjoying it. Yum!

Very tasty! Boyfriend and I both got boneless wings; I got hot, he got nuclear(hottest is suicidal). Really hit the spot. Chicken was very tender, too. But the real draw for me was the«onion fries,» which are really basically onion rings but WAYMOREAWESOME. Totally amazing. Peppery and crisp and delicious. I would go back just for these. Service was surprisingly great. Both girls who were working were super nice and helpful, which I feel like is unusual for a wing joint. Also, one of them had a way cool fishtail braid, which I enjoyed. Only reason they didn’t get 5 stars is because they don’t serve beer, which I feel is the chicken wing’s one true bride. Otherwise, totally enjoyed this place and plan to wing it up here again soon.

Atomic wings is my go-to place for delivered hot wings in the city. Having discovered this atomic wings/korean food hybrid restaurant a block from my apartment, I no longer have to pay delivery fees! I got the«hot» flavor, which is about half way up atomic wings’ hotness scale(less than atomic, suicidal, nuclear etc). Flavoring was great, but the wings could have been more tender. Paired with a few of the korean«fusion» taco offerings: kim chi tacos with beef and spicy pork, and their special beef tacos. These were all OK, but not as tasty the ones I remember having from the Korilla food truck(although they were way cheaper). I saw a couple eating some more traditional korean dishes when i picked up(bibim bap and bulgogi) which looked decent.

Came with Unilocalers Wennie S. and Hans H. They recently accept credit cards now yet it is still buggy. I’m a mellow guy so I gave them benefit of the doubt when they had issues processing/printing out the receipt. After I signed the receipt, Wennie and Hans ordered after me(as well as 5 other customers that walked in after us). Everyone received their food except for me. «Odd» I thought. I wait a few more minutes thinking they were just slow with my order. I walk up to the counter and told them«I ordered a while ago and haven’t received my food.» Turns out they never printed my receipt for the cooks. That’s strike two. They were apologetic and offered an extra drink but I respectfully declined. Is the third time a charm? I’m not sure if I’ll want to give Atomic Wings/KalBQ a third chance.
