Been a while since I walked into the Associated Supermarket. So much has changed and one thing that has not changed is the aisle which is pretty narrow if you have boxes stacked up and two cart trying to get by. Welcome to NYC. Cramped for space. Really like the deli selection counter and lots more produce and fruits displayed. Got some chicken wings and thighs today for they look fresh and checked the expiration date.

I give them 1 star for some of the fresh products they have in there but the treatment is so bad that makes you wanna go thousand milles away from them. Cashiers and some of the«managers» are really rude, they give you a bad attitude and they don’t even look at you when you talk to them. They should have some training on how to treat their customers.

I find fresh produce and generally, things more expensive here than in the other local supermarkets around Jackson heights.

The space is crowded, I’ll give you that. The food is easy to find. Fresher food. Always see them restocking in the morning. To be honest, this is just so much better because compared to Trade Fair, a block away, Associated is just a better supermarket overall.

What I imagine a conversation between two people who run the store was: Tom: hey frank, good news! The new shipment of products has come in and we can restock the shelves with goods that people will buy! Frank: that is good news Tom. We will restock them when we open tomorrow! Tom: tomorrow? But won’t we be making it harder for customers to shop when there are boxes of un sorted goods blocking the aisles? Frank: I hope so Tom, ever since I was a child working nights restocking shelves it has always been my dream to open a store where the employees restock the shelves during store hours, that way people will not shop there and therefore no one will buy anything meaning people who restock shelves will work less because there are less things to restock Tom: that’s a horrible business model Frank, if it weren’t for that gypsy curse placed upon me I would leave this business for you to ruin it with your terrible business model and poor work ethic.

Haven’t been over in this area for a while. Looks nice it was redone. Shelves are too high. You must be like 6 foot to get something without help. Poptarts. Pasta. everything was too high. The deli guy was just rude.

New clean Associated Supermarket right next to the #7-subway station at 90th Street. This is Associated is modern and bright and carry a variety of ethnic food items. This market is a definite plus for this Jackson Height & Corona community.
