This slice tops every other 99¢ place in NY. Never had pizza so good at such a cheap price. If I didn’t live so far, I’d be here every day

They’ve downsized. The steam table is no longer available. It’s a sad day for fans of their jerk chicken and rice. Made the grisly discovery after going out of my way just to grab a couple of platters.

Ok, let’s get this straight — no, it’s not as good as Joe’s, John’s, Di Fara, Grimaldi’s, Parsy’s, Certe, Artichoke, etc., but this is a different animal — for $ 1 a slice, the quality is excellent. If you’re in a rush and just need something to fill you for a short time or if it’s 4am after drinking all night, this is the perfect spot. You can’t even buy a pack of gum or soda for $ 1, so to be able to get a decent slice of pizza for that price, I’m sold. And I checked the flour bags, cheese and tomato sauce and all look good quality, so nothing sketchy going on there. Don’t come here expecting for it to change your life or to get a gourmet slice — see it for what it is, somewhere fast, clean, efficient and tasty, all for only $ 1.

Always amazed by the $ 1 cheese pizza and the way it can satisfy, despite having no toppings. Canned sodas are also $ 1. Where in NYC can you get a $ 2 meal? Only 2 Bros.

Pizza was ok. Service was awful! Guy at the counter had an attitude and very weird standing in there as well, because they had two different radios on playing two different types of music really loud so we decided to leave. Cheap pizza, but not worth it.

This is a great place to buy pizza if you’re ever strapped on cash considering that one slice is a dollar! This place could use more seating since there are barely any tables, but considering that this location has a lot of foot traffic, I’d rather take it out!

$ 1 slices and $ 8 pies makes the baby Jesus extra happy. Zero frills, decent slices, very fast service. I wish there were one in Queens!

PROS: Incredible deals, decent quality and friendly dine-in ambiance. So proud to know friends and family from abroad liked 2 Bros’ pizza very much, although they assumed it would taste like some tourist-trap food they’d had in Italy. «Incroyable!» And«Oui», I’m a big fan as well. CONS: No location found in Queens.

The pizza is terrible as stated in my other review, but what makes this 2 Bros better is their cheap, high quality hot food selections. Baked chicken and collard greens for 3 dollars! Excellent deal!

The workers at this place are idiots who don’t know how to read. A new rule went into affect about the price, but notices gave conflicting info. The first one said something along the lines of «Beginning on July 24, 2014, sales tax will no longer be included in the price of the pizza.» Pizza would be $ 1.09. Sure, whatever, no problem. The new one said the same thing, but they blacked out«no longer» meaning the price would be $ 1. The cashier charged me the old price, then kept insisting that the tax was no longer included. She kept pointing at the first sign like I was an idiot. Then when I showed her the sign, she screamed, «I don’t know.» How do you not know? She went to ask someone about the new sign. The other person kept pointing to the«no longer» part that was blacked out, and kept saying that I had to pay tax. He looked at me like I didn’t know how to read. Whatever, the only idiotic thing I did was that I forgot to take pictures of the conflicting signs. This place employs idiots who can’t read. Pizza is terrible too. I’d rather pay $ 1 for terrible pizza at a place where the employees aren’t blathering idiots.

This is not your average 2 Bros. It’s better. Not better pizza per se, but there is a little something in the name. 2 Bros Plus goes beyond the cheapo pizza norm and brings in a whole slew of other wonderful options not typically associated with a pizza joint. Collard greens? Yes. Rice and beans? Yezzir. Mac and cheese or jerk chicken? Totally. All for a $ 1 – 2 each? Seriously? Seriously. The food isn’t going to be mind blowing of course, but the recession special prices say it all. Who can complain when for $ 10 one can score a helping of beans and rice, two drinks, 4 slices of pizza, candied yams, stew chicken and a baked potato? Anyone who complains of New York prices ought to come here. This might even be beyond hobo pricing it’s so cheap. The friendly guys behind the counter might be inclined to agree. If taste is everything, you might want to stick with the pizza. I’ve had a pretty mediocre experience with the other foods, especially the veggie rice, broccoli, and yams. The jerk chicken can be solid on some days, but 2 Bros in all food facets might function better as drunk food than it does for any desperate dinner or lunch option. In this economy, I’m just happy it’s available. And open late.

2 Bros Pizza. You are one of the BEST aspects of this city. Cheap, quick pizza. Thank you, thank you, THANKYOU. Apparently you can get other stuff here like chicken and other cheap foods, but I just like the pizza. If I had my way, there would be one of these on every block. Which, in some ways, there are, but not this cheap, and not this quick.

Yes, there are $ 1 slices of pizza here. I don’t stop here for pizza though. This is one of only 2 locations that serves real food as well. Mexicans make the pizza here while Dominicans provide yellow rice, moros, chicken(fried, BBQ& jerk), macaroni, yams, salad, veggies, and fried fish. This spot quickly became popular since you can get a full meal for $ 3 to $ 6 here. Once in a while, something may be overcooked but the majority of the time the food is spot on. If the line is too long for you to wait you can always grab a slice, but it’d be better for you to just wait. By the way, they usually stop serving food here around 4 or 4:30 pm. I noticed people will actually buy dinner here to take home, which isn’t a bad idea if the only thing you have around you is chinese or full restaurants.

Good pizza for a 2bros, but the hot food makes this the best of them all! The pizza here is definitely on the upper end of the 2bros spectrum, but there are better dollar slices to be had in the area. What really makes this place stand out is its hot food options. Varying slightly from day to day, you have a choice of rice chicken, pasta, vegetables, fries and more. With absurdly low prices, one can easily fill up here for less than $ 5(big portions). To make all of that even better, the staff is equal parts sassy & friendly. Not the best place to have a quiet lunch(always crowded, & high school kids run amuck), but it’s definitely one of the cheapest(good) spots in the city. On average I spend $ 4 here for lunch. That’s less than half of what I’d spend elsewhere on my break! I’m a regular here, and will continue to be one. HEADSUP: Try to go there before 3PM. Once they run out, that’s it. Also, food goes faster on days with nice weather. Oh, and no hot food on weekends.

When you see a sign that says $ 1.00 pizza; your first thought would most likely be «that must be some disgusting pizza.» However, I assure you that you are surely mistaken if you thinking that about this place! First off, it is in a great location, I have stumbled upon this place quite a few times over the years. For the price, your actually getting decent pizza! Grant it, obviously it isn’t going to be the best in the world but totally worth it if you do not want to spend a ton of money and want something to eat that will satisfy your appetite. Lines move quick and it is especially convenient if your on the go. I personally never knew they served other hot food until I read other reviews, so now I’m curious and will be back to try that. This place hasn’t seen the last of me!

Quality pizza for $ 1.00, 2.75&3.00 is way too much for a slice especially from some of these mediocre pizzerias. Pizzaristas are pretty nice. They keep a good mood going during all the long lines. They also have cooked food during the lunch hour that’s way below market price

The pizza’s not bad here, but the real gem is the hot food in the front. I definitely recommend it. Cheap and tasty Recommendations: $ 2 — Jerk Chicken — best, meat falls off the bone. $ 1 — Friend Chicken — good also, and only a buck $ 1 — Rice and beans — taste really good, but a little on the salty side $ 1 — Yam — nice sweet piece w/a sweet glaze $ 1 — Fries — not bad, not dry $ 2 — Mac & cheese $ 1.50 — broccoli(very soft, like baby food) — The bbq chicken isn’t that good — Jerk and fried chicken are better Cons: — Long lines during lunch — Popular items can go fast

Lunch time is a good value for plentiful food. Cheap eats can be found at 2 Bros Pizza Plus serves hot food during the peak weekday lunch hours. One baked chicken breast, leg + French Fries totals UNDER $ 5.00. Note: I highly do not recommend to patronize 2 Bros Pizza Plus for any form of pizza. It has no taste, bland and bears no substance!

2 Bros Pizza is known for 2 things: CHEAP pizza and CHEAP pizza. This 2 Bros Pizza located conveniently within the vicinity of the Metropolitan Pavilion and in Meatpacking district is AWESOME. The service wasn’t the best but it certainly wasn’t the worse. But what made this 2 Bros location special is the«PLUS». No, not plus in pricing but plus as in an add-on to this pizza store. They reserved a a little corner that reminds me of a Spanish take-out restaurant. You choose what you want, they put it in a rectangle styrofoam box. And you go home happy. The prices was CHEAP. Most of the items on the menu was a buck or more. They offered sides such as yams, vegetable rice, beans, and so forth all for a dollar. The meats specifically are what costs more than a buck such as the jerk chicken I ordered. I spent about 7 bucks that included 3 slices of pizza and I was FULL. Money well spent I’d say.

You know the old saying; pizza is a lot like sex, even when it’s bad, it’s still pretty good. And when it comes to 2 Brothers, they take that mantra to a whole new level. Is it the even in the top 20 of my favorite pizzas in New York? Not even close… but I’ll tell you what, it’s damn near impossible to complain about a $ 1 slice of pizza. For that price, you’ll nab a the basal, no frills cheese varietal, and depending on what other toppings tickle your fancy, your slice of pie won’t run you any more than perhaps a combined 200 pennies. Now that’s what I call a deal, son!
