Review 1400! This annual fund raiser is a huge money maker for the Audubon Institute. And I can see why folks love it. Wow! That was a ton of free flowing food and drink. Seriously it seemed liked every great restaurant in the city supplied a tasting dish. Plus alcohol representatives for any kind of liquor you might want. The people watching was awesome.(Seriously wear flats and/or boots; much of the activities take place«on the lawn») The bands were really fun and made everyone dance. Good times for a good cause? Oh Yeah!

Zoo to Do is an annual fundraiser event for Audubon Zoo. There is an opening musician and a main musician that takes the stage. There are restaurant sponsors from around the city offering lots of delicious food! In addition, there are alcohol vendors with many yummy libations for tasting. I’ve been twice and both years it rained! This is a rain or shine event, so in spite of mud or rain(since it’s on the grounds of the zoo), people put on their cocktail attire along with rain boots(if needed) or formal shoes, and just eat, drink, socialize, and dance the night away. This year it rained during the week leading up to the event, and even the day of, so it was a muddy mess. Nevertheless, it was all for a good cause!

Zoo-To-Do is the Audubon Zoo’s signature fundraising event and your ticket purchase includes live entertainment, premium drinks and delicious food from area restaurants. Having an Audubon membership saves you enough money that you should probably just go ahead and become a member if you’re considering attending this event. This event is black tie or white linen suit for gentleman and cocktail dresses for ladies(let’s face it men this is a hot time of year so the white linen suit is the way to go). The only problem with this event is that it typically overlaps with Jazz Fest so it can be hard to make it after a long hard day of festing! There is also a Kids Zoo-To-Do on a different weekend and I’ve never been to that but I’ve heard great things about it.
