How cool is this place!!! It’s a Zoo, Aquarium, Insectarium, and a Entergy IMAX® Theatre all in one. Since we have Zoo’s, Imax’s, and an Aquarium in Chicago, we went for the Insectarium. Bugs, bugs, and more bugs. Though it is set up for mainly for kids, it was still pretty cool. The end is the best part, they have a Japanese butterfly garden where you can have hundreds of beautiful butterflies float about all around you. If you’re still enough one might land on you, it’s considered good luck. The only draw back to this Insectarium is some of the visitors. Question: for the people who don’t like bugs or who are afraid of them… WHY in the world would you go to a bug museum??? These girls were screaming every 5 min and they were loud, even the bugs were like«WTF is your problem lady, I’m nocturnal here» ok fine, it went more like«cricket, cricket»(or whatever sound they make)!! I’d go back Info Audubon Nature Institute’s family of museums and parks dedicated to nature include: Audubon Park Audubon Zoo Woldenberg Riverfront Park Audubon Aquarium of the Americas Freeport-McMoRan Audubon Species Survival Center Entergy IMAX® Theatre Audubon Louisiana Nature Center Audubon Center for Research of Endangered Species Audubon Wilderness Park Audubon Insectarium Audubon Nature Institute Foundation
