The employees here were so friendly and helpful, I dropped off frames to get lenses in and they were done the next day. So fast and great

Lovely staff at the vision center, they help you out on any issue when buying glasses with them and will adjust the glasses to you’re comfort anytime. Wonderful ladies there, Great prices, I am totally buying there again when I need a new pair.

My son broke his glasses and was having trouble wearing his contacts. Got an appointment THAT day. Dr. Jane did a full exam, got him fitted for contacts that were comfortable, and we picked out a new pair of glasses. There was even someone to point out the good points and bad points of the different glasses we looked at. All of this and we were in and out in no time. The glasses were ready even sooner than we were told. Great service, great price, and great people!!!

Atrocious customer service. I went to save a buck, and was shown why you should never do that when it comes to your vision or health.

Time to have my failing eyes checked, so I decided to give it a go at Walmart(out of sheer convenience.) What I found was an attentive staff and a very pleasant, experienced eye doctor, not to mention affordable pricing. Being my first exam in some time, Dr. McDow took the time to fully explain each step of the procedure, as well as the results of my exam. She was very kind and patient and I would definitely recommend her to those in need of an eye doctor.

Dr. McDow, a nice lady and the only doctor on staff, gave me an eye exam for both glasses and contacts. The contact lenses she prescribed left my vision perfect from about 10 feet away but blurry otherwise. I came twice more, each time letting Dr. McDow know I couldn’t see very well. She tried three different trial pairs, none of which I could adequately see with. She told me that even though I couldn’t read some of the lines on the eye exam, that was the best she could do. Two weeks later, my eyeglasses arrived. I have worn glasses for the last 20 years, and this was the one and only pair that I genuinely could tell something was wrong with. I called my old optometrist and had them fax me my old prescription(which worked perfectly) and it turns out the prescription was drastically different from Dr. McDow’s. I was already skeptical of Walmart’s Vision Center, but it was the cheapest one, so I went with it. I no longer will risk skimping money on a cheap eye exam. It’s not worth being blind. I called Walmart Vision Center and asked if I could get a refund on my exam. The receptionist said no one has ever received a refund for an exam, since the doctors are privately contracted. He said that, in the past, the few other instances of patients receiving erroneous prescriptions were dealt with by having the doctor reexamine them. When dealing with matters as delicate as eyesight, I expect to have the doctor get it right the first time.
