Puppies N Stuff

My friend bought a dog here and a few days later had parvo. Do your research before you buy from this place! Where are the puppies coming from and how are they being cared for?

People please don’t buy puppies from here this business is a puppy mill. Please lets stop the dogs misery and pain. If anyone has any information on how or who we could talk to please let me know. We need to stop this, they are making money and don’t care about dogs pain.

I have mixed feelings about this place. I’ll start with the good:
My husband and I bought a beautiful French Bulldog from Puppies N Stuff. He is the greatest dog on the planet and we fell in love with him the moment we saw him. He was well behaved in his little swimming pool thing that they keep the puppies in and was settled with a Boston Terrier that looked happy and healthy as well. One of the ladies took the Frenchie out and let him walk around and we knew we had to have him. The ladies even knew where he came from and gave us a brief history on how such a wonderful breed ended up in their possession. We paid for him took him home. They had a deal if you bought a crate, food, collar, leash etc… so we ended up going with that as well. Our puppy has kennel cough. I know that kennel cough is super contagious and it if one dog had it, they all do, but it was slightly unsettling. We took him to the vet and the vet actually billed Puppies N Stuff so that we didn’t have to pay a dime to get him better. That was pretty cool.
The bad: It’s a puppy mill. It’s uncomfortable to be in there when you know the reputation. My husband and I joke that we rescued our puppy from a puppy mill. The dogs are all put in those blue plastic pools that you see all summer long then in a trash can come winter. There was a layer of hay looking material that the puppies kept chewing on eating. They looked happy enough but I should have known better when one of the ladies informed us that an English Bulldog there had kennel cough yet still had him exposed to other puppies. The ladies weren’t exactly rude but there was something different about their customer service skills. It just felt a little off. I wasn’t comfortable in that little store at all. I wanted to go home and wash the puppy mill off of me and our new dog.
I don’t think I will be buying another puppy from Puppies N Stuff. We really lucked out finding a French Bulldog puppy there and that was the only reason we gave them our business. I don’t really think I can speak poorly upon the establishment just because they were very good to us but it’s not an experience that I want ever again. I just felt bad.
Also, those picketers need to go home. The only reason I knew that puppy mill was there was because I always saw them out there when I was getting my breakfast burrito. I feel like they’re more of an advertisement than helpful.

I bought three puppy’s from there over the years and yes the first one had worms a few years later the second one had kennel coughs and so did the one I got a few days ago. But they was always willing to help with vet fees And all and all they where great dogs. Their prices are very reasonable

I see all these bad reviews, I get it everyone has different experiences. Anytime you buy a puppy anywhere, you take a risk. Me and my daughter bought a puppy here 9 years ago and she was in excellent health never a problem. We still visit from time to time and the lady’s there are always so polite and answer any questions. I would buy from them again, no problem

My family and I are in the area (from out of town) and are looking for a new addition to the family. We found this place on Google. I literally left in tears.
Plastic pools with sawdust, wire fencing around them… stuffed with puppies. The few dogs we did hold all were sick — and desperate for attention. There were no water or food dishes for ANY of the dogs.
I have no idea if these are truly «puppy mill» dogs, but the whole environment was certainly devastating. It’s been days since we’ve left there, and I am still so sad!

Bought the gf a pup from here, he’s a Llhaso Apso. I paid around $ 600 for him and all in all were satisfied customers and definitely plan on getting another pup from here. They sold a shit ton of pups in the amount of time we were there. We named him Chewy and his name fits him well cuz this lil jackass likes to chew on everything lol sometimes funny but not all the time…

Bough my puppy here not even a month ago and when the 10 day of guarantee had passed he got so sick from parvo. I took him to the vet and told me they had taken 6 puppies including mine that had been to that vet from puppies and stuff that had parvo. And she doesnt want to respond to anything. They sell dogs that are supposed to have shot at a few weeks old fron parvo and they are not!!!

Puppies N’ Stuff sold me a dog that has parvo and the company has been very short with me and unsupportive.
Purchased the dog for about $ 600 on a Tuesday. According to my contract, I took him to one of her recommended vets within 5 days for an initial checkup. Roundworms found and medication given.
The following Tuesday, he was rushed to my personal vet for excessive vomiting and diarrhea as well as inability to eat or drink. Diagnosed with parvo and told to stay for a week.
According to my contract, if a puppy was diagnosed with parvo or some select other conditions within 10 days of purchase, we were required a full refund for the dog. Upon going to the store and sharing my woes, the owner responded with, «I highly doubt he has parvo, are you sure?» She also said that there was nothing she could do since we did not take him to HER suggested vet. Nowhere in the contract does it say that. She said she would not cover fees at my vet and if I wanted anything from her, I must send him to her vet.
Transferred our dog to her vet after paying around $ 500 out of pocket at ours. He was doing slightly better. Her vet acknowledged that they have had multiple parvo cases from her store recently. Her vet sent my dog home the next day saying he was fine and that they would charge her. I was extremely hesitant to take him home and even called my vet to see if this seemed reasonable. They were hesitant but said to try it out.
The next night we had to rush him to the emergency vet for the same symptoms — note that the number we called was for her vet and the emergency vet answered so we assumed it was the same organization. Since the emergency vet is closed during the day, they had us transfer him to her vet the next morning. Out of pocket for the emergency vet: $ 700. Her vet scolded us for not putting him on a special diet or keeping him calm while he healed — neither directions were given to us upon pick up. Again, they told us he was fine, sent him home, and charged her.
Out of request from the emergency vet, we took him back there for the night to watch and help him. Approximate cost: $ 700‑1700 out of pocket
She has broken her own contract and has fought us and been rude. We also have not received ANY paperwork on our dog as she promised would be mailed.
Many of her dogs are sick and she refuses to do anything about it. How can she stay in business with such terrible business ethic? How can she sleep at night knowing she is allowing so many living things to suffer? How is she allowed to knowingly put people in extreme debt when they don’t follow her unwritten contract?
DO NOT BUY FROM THIS BUSINESS.

We have had really good luck with our puppies here. We just got our third puppy. All our puppies have been full bred Golden Retreivers. I am really happy with our dogs and the service we’ve been given. And I was able to get a photo of our first dogs father. They take good care if there pups. Sure I’ll be back in couple years for another.

I love this place.
I think it is super cool that you can take out any puppy and hold and play with it! That was what really set this shop apart from the rest. It really gives you the chance to see the personality of the puppy in a place that’s bigger than a pen that the normal pet store sticks you in. It’s a hassle in other places to have to go and ask for a different dog each time.
There are protestors out there sometimes that claim this place is a puppy mill, but that isn’t true. The dogs are well treated in clean pens and are given their shots before put out for sale. There is a guarantee when you get a puppy that if you take your new pet to the vet within 5 days of purchase, that you get a warrantee.
I found, however, that 5 days is rather a short period of time, and most people really can’t get their pets in at such a short notice; especially with school, work, etc.
My puppy is perfectly healthy and happy. She is growing fast and the vet said she was in great condition. I may have gotten lucky, but this place has given me my new best friend!

Ive seen this place around since I was like 7. Im 22 now, but Ive been in there from time to time, Ive gotten one dog from there. Her names honey and shes now 8. she is bling compleatly and has diabetes (I am not blaming this on them, for it was a condition that came on years after having her) however I do not like this place, I feel its dirty and «sandy» and all of them who work there are quite rude and just jerks mainly that bugs me when anyone other than a cop or judge acts like they are above me. Ive heard many stories from personal friends who have had negative experiances witht them as well. Id rather go somewhere else where they are friendly, care about the anaimals, and dont sell sick ones.

After having a devastating experience buying a puppy from a pet store 10 years ago, I vowed never to buy a puppy store puppy again. However, this past Christmas I had my heart set on getting a puppy, and after checking out all the shelters in the Denver metro area I found myself at Puppies N Stuff as a last resort.
Against my better judgment I fell in love with a Basset/​Beagle mix puppy. She seemed perfectly healthy and playful at the store, soon after we got her home she developed a cough and was very listless. At her first vet check (at one of the recommended vet clinics — which is another horror story!!) the vet told me it was just a little kennel cough, they gave me some meds and she’d be fine. Unfortunately, she was NOT fine. The cough got worse and worse and then she started having trouble breathing. The vet I had originally taken her to told me that they didn’t have the hospital facilites my puppy would need, but we couldn’t reach the owners of Puppies N Stuff for an «approved» vet hospital to take her to. The poor thing wasn’t able to breathe, so I wound up taking her to an emergency vet that has a good reputation. After multiple trips to the ER vet and a thousand dollars, my little girl pulled through and is now doing fine, but I would NEVER buy a puppy from this place again. I have to agree with the other posters who say they’re just out to make money and don’t really care about the fate of these puppies.

Everyone says don’t but from this puppy mill! I don’t believe they are supported by puppy mills, they are on consignment from private breeders from the conversations I’ve had with them. Whatever, they are cute and thats all it amounts to! Are they different than chicken farms, pig farms, dairies and livestock yards, I think not!

Bought a Husky 2÷9÷13 and she is already on 5 kinds of medication trying to get over being sick.

bought a puppy here a while back… it died… and it costs nearly $ 8,000 to try and save her.

Recently stopped in to Puppies N Stuff in Northglenn CO because my 9 year old daughter wanted to look at some puppies. We have been to this store several times in the last five years and even bought one puppy from them several years ago. The last time we went in there they were selling two unidetified puppies (mutts) they called them. One of them was really cute and had a black coloring around the eye and the rest of her was white. Now, I am not one to make an impulse buy especially on a pet/​animal. My daughter was in tears all the way home and really wanted this puppy. My wife and I wanted to discuss how we would plan on taking care of this pup because of our work schedules and we wanted to make sure we could do it and the animal would not suffer because we did not have time. I called puppies n stuff and I explained the situation and asked if I could put a hold or deposit while we think about it for 24hrs. I was told, «The Dog is either sold or not sold there is no in between.» I responded, «Ok, thank you because you just made that decsion very easy for me.» I hung up and will never return to that store.
The way I see it is that if they can not respect a buyer that is worried about making sure that puppy is going to have a good home, if they are in such a hurry to sell their puppies then they really do not care about the animals and money is the ONLY thing that motivates them. I will NOT be doing any business with them and I will be sure to post several reviews about them EVERYWHERE.
This has nothing to do with me being angry I was told no but more for the reason that they do not care about thier animals and every time I go there something happens that points to this clearly. In addition the customer service there is horrible. They talk to people as if they are superior to them or they speak to you like you are stupid. I am very surprised they are still in business especially with all of the reports they have had against them for selling sick dogs. I have seen on several occasions going into this place that it is just plain dirty. In one case they had a puppy in a kennel and a sign on it said sold but then they took it in the back and I heard whispering about there being something wrong with it. I am curious what happened with that one.
