While I can’t claim to be an expert on Korean food, I have eaten enough of it over the years to know when it is good! We enjoyed items from the lunch special, which was very affordable. My husband thoroughly enjoyed his bibimbap, and my cham bong was nice and spicy, even if the seafood bits were kind of small. Service was excellent(very polite server explained everything patiently) and the décor is very elegant for a plaza restaurant. Most of the other diners were Korean. There were 8 little complementary dishes to accompany our meal, and all but 1 were really tasty. We will definitely be back.

Disregard dustins comment because he doesn’t know the details. I was told by their server that they have to make rounds running over to assi across the street because they get their«soondae» from friends across the street in assi — who make the same soup. The owner used to work at friends before she decided to start her own place with the same menu. This place is mediocre at best. And apparently the owner has nothing better to do than to troll on everyone’s comments on this

I have to re-post a higher rating since I come here regularly. When I first came here, I thought it was okay. But the longer they have stayed open, the food is very good. The ban chan they offer is extensive and tasty. Their lunch specials are a great deal. The waiters are very friendly. But the biggest issue is they get really busy and they are short one person, so I think I was put off that the service was a little slow. But it’s not that slow that prevents me coming back all the time.

They are not a BBQ restaurant but we ordered the LA Kalbi to cook at our table. It was ok. What I liked was their hot stone bowl of rice. You have to scoop the rice out of the bowl on to the side dish as soon as you get it. Then, you pour the hot tea(barley tea) into the bowl about halfway. And you will soon see the tea start to boil and it can boil over OUTOF the bowl. So before it erupts like a volcano all over, they provide you with a cup of ice so you can put some ice in it to cool down the boil. I had to do that twice before the liquid finally settled on its own. But as the hot tea is in there, it is also softening the rice that is stuck on the hot bowl. And when it’s not too hot, that’s when you eat the softened rice with the liquid in there. Mmmmm mmmm Soooooo gooood. Of course you eat the rice you scooped out in the beginning as well. Duh! :)

I don’t understand how this place has such a low rating. In all honesty, this is one of the best places for Korean food up here in North Wales! I come here every time I visit my parents who live around here. First, the food is extremely well balanced. Most other places give a large dose of MSG and salt, which usually leaves me with dehydration and a food coma, but this place makes me feel awesome! I usually come out of the restaurant feeling full but comfortable. The soups are especially great to eat when you are feeling a bit under the weather. I generally get the soondaeguk. Definitely try it if you want a classic distinctly Korean dish. Not for the faint of heart though with the different yummy organs. The bossam is also fantastic. It’s steamed pork belly and oysters with different ingredients to make cabbage wraps. Seriously, great place to eat regularly.

My son and I ate here last Friday. The food was good. We had the shortribs which were very flavorful but a little tough. We also had the dumplings and they were delicious!!! They also bring an assortment of little side dishes to the table with your meal that are great; it allows you to be able to taste an assortment of Korean cuisine. Our food came out very quick. They greet you when you come in but they did not check on us while we were eating. I will go back. I love Korean BBQ.

For a Korean restaurant, it’s average. Been there twice now and both times their special soup was out. When we asked them– they said come back next time. Haha. The food is average– nothing special. Same as any suburban Korean restaurant. The service is a bit sub par in my opinion. The waiters at lunch seem too busy. They kept forgetting to bring our sodas until our third request. The first time, they took the rice out of the hotpot for us and put the water in for the nurungi() which is standard service if you were to go anywhere like soondooboo places who use the hotpot. Korean adults like that. Second time(two days later) I took my parents(in laws) who are Korean, and noticed that they were just leaving the rice in the hotpot… So when I asked if they could take that out and put water in for the slightly burnt rice in the pot, the waiter said they don’t do that because they don’t want to risk scraping the hotpot… Huh!!! I was just there two days ago! Kind of a lame excuse for being busy. The food — it was fine. Average. The Korean side dishes — they have a variety of average ones. Location is a bit small but didn’t seem so busy that we couldn’t sit down or anything. Another average restaurant in the area… Let’s see how long it lasts since this restaurant location has changed names so frequently… The phở place next door is good though!

After a full day of finishing up some work, a friend of mine wanted to grab something to eat afterwards. She was no stranger to Korean food, and I recommended we go here because I’ve been to this restaurant a few times and the food wasn’t bad. Everything was fine until we had to leave. I called for the waiter to get the check only to be blatantly ignored. The place is small so there’s no way you couldn’t hear me call out. I wish there was a half point rating because the overall experience was a little above just ‘A-OK.’ I’d probably give it a 3.5 The food is what counts, and the ban-chan was pretty on point that night, along with our kimchi-jigae and mandoo-guk that my friend and I shared. If you’re not familiar with Korean food, and it’s your first time here, just know you get about 6 – 8 small side dishes of mostly vegetable and seafood based appetizers. This is part of the meal regardless of your entrée. They’re also refillable. The stews are pretty hefty and hearty, so come hungry. The food really isn’t spicy. It’s the spice plus the boiling temperature of the food that I think causes some people to be more sensitive to the heat. However, if you are sensitive to spicy foods, I would suggest staying away from yookgae-jang, especially. That dish can be a little too much to handle for newbies. Happy eats!

Just went in for lunch and was utterly disappointed at the quality of food and service. I ordered the spicy rice cake dish with noodles. It turns out the oh-dang was spoiled and had a horrible after taste. They refused to acknowledge the food was rotten. Never go to this crap restaurant. I REPEATNEVERGOINTOTHISCRAPRESTAURANT.

Free appetizer sampler was great and a little bit of everything. The food itself wasn’t that great though. Fairly bland and slightly burnt. Unsure if it is just Korean food in general, but we were not impressed at all.

Absolutely delicious! The waiting staff was so kind and helpful with assisting us through the menu. He also forgave us for gobbling up the side dishes(mistook them at appetizers like total noobs) and was just a total sweetheart. Can’t wait to come again!

This restaurant offers Americanized South Korean cuisine. Pros 1. Their appetizer is good. Plus it’s technically free as its complimentary. They only charge for what you order. 2. Interior looks nice. I felt pretty comfortable here. Cons 1. Food was not that impressive. Not just me, even my colleagues didn’t enjoy it. 2. Little bit expensive than other restaurants around. 3. Since it was lunch time so we were told only to order from lunch menu.
