First time staying here as I usually stay in Mexico when traveling south, clients wanted to stay on the U.S. side, so I did as well. Very surprised, and very satisfied, staff is great, breakfast area staff very pleasant helpful for whatever you may need(understand this is a «express breakfast» so limited options but plenty to get you going). The rooms are nice, clean, and very roomy, not a shoe box by no means. To stay in glamorous Nogales AZ, this would be my place of choice, as I have no need to try anywhere else when I know I have a great place to stay here, at the Holiday Inn Express.

Let me preface that I am used to the Ritz in DC as my weekly hotel. The rooms are huge and clean. The bed. Wow. If pick this bed over most rooms 4x the cost. The staff has been friendly and accommodating. It’s quiet and old but there really isn’t my else to choose from. I’m sensitive to detergent and my skin was fine with what they use. The free Wifi you get what you pay for — I wish they had a conference center while we were here — it was being cleaned. I’ll be coming back a lot this year and I found my hotel.

Kind’ve a funky location, but what an awesome hotel! We booked through expedia and got a super rate! The receptionist was very nice, and gave us the perfect room(handicapped accessible~ even has a roll in shower!!!). Also, this is the first time l brought my pup($ 25 deposit, NOT per night) and he was super excited to travel :) The hotel has a nice(but small) fitness room, outdoor pool & jacuzzi, indoor laundry, and a complimentary continental breakfast. They even offer fresh(free) coffee and cookies in the lobby. The room is very spacious, 2 queen beds, a nice sized tv, microwave and fridge(no freezer). All in all, if we’re ever back in the area we definitely will stay here!!!

Just a few things to add: the fitness center isn’t much… the treadmill is quite shaky once you take it over 5mph. I’m not short, but still the ceiling seemed way to close when I was running along. The breakfast, particularly in regards to the healthful options, is meh. I rely on the bananas and the peanut butter. I think we might try the other hotels nearby next time as a comparison of all the amenities.
