A great place for Chinese food that doesn’t make you feel horrible after eating it. I’ve explored a good amount of the menu and have been satisfied with every decision. The food comes out quick and it’s affordable. Great place for both small and large gatherings. Don’t let the outer appearance fool you, the food is great!

I have been coming here for over 20 years. THEBESTMONGOLIANBEEFEVER. Don’t waste ur time on fried food it’s going to kill you any way and is awful from this place. The real trick is to get a dinner for 2 or 3 and replace the fried food with anything else. Also the sizleing rice soup is the and also don’t forget the bannana cookies !!! Ps Mrs. sho is the best. I hope I spelled that right she’s been serving me for a long time.

This place has such tasty Jajangmyun! Out of all the places I’ve been to in Chicago, I would say this place has the best Jajangmyun. I would highly suggest going at lunch time because they have a lunch special for $ 5.99, which is beyond cheap for the amount they give you.

Summing it up, DON’T GOTOTHISPLACE. I have so many things to «complaint» about this place. Let’s talk about the food quality. Oh my! I ordered tangsuyuk, which is a deep fried beef strips, and there was little meat with plenty of fry batter! Also ordered japchae rice thing, too oily! Had diarrhea for the entire day! There were more dishes I ordered but it was simply BELOWSTANDARD compared to other places. Pricing was awful given the poor food quality + tiny portion. Sorry but if you can’t get the food quality high, at least make it cheap or huge portion! Service was awful as well. We tried to order this spicy fish stew, which I forgot the name, but they just said they cant saying it would take too much time. =.= If you can’t make them in a timely fashion, take it off of your menu. Don’t order the combination dishes because those aren’t really that cheap if you calculate them individually. AVOIDAVOIDAVOID. Empire Szechewan isn’t the best, but their tangsuyuk and yangjangpi is the best in the area. Delicious + huge portions for its price

i came here few times. Tried several dishes. food is just ok. Fried stuff came out very dried and burned. this place serve chinese and korean food too. If u have big group, maybe this place is not bad choice since they carry both chinese and korean.

Mongolian beef definitely my favorite. Comfortable seating and quiet environment during the week. Sometimes it takes long to get service but understandable when it’s busy and they have a few servers. Recommended.

Worst restaurant experience I’ve had in a very long time. I walk in and get seated and wait 20 minutes and nobody comes to check on me or ask if i’m ready to order. I’m looking around and I see two waiters having a conversation the whole time while i wait. I can’t believe an establishment like this is still in business.

Hard to beat this place for lunch specials. Its a chinese restaurant owned by koreans and thus they have both korean and chinese food. The tangsuyuk is amazing and the chachang myun is one of the best in the city in my opinion. Lunch prices are really low as well and the food comes out fast. Dont come here expecting authentic chinese food but rather a delicious korean style of chinese food. Also if you order a korean dish it comes with pancheon so make sure if you want it to order a korean dish.

Not bad but not excellent. One of the few places where you can get korean Chinese(ex jja jiang mien, jjam bbong) But don’t expect good or prompt service. Like most Asian restaurant they are not attentive. Lunch special is not a bad price. 5.99 –6.99 well worth the money

Not many restaurants in this area last for 20+ years. Says something about this place. Service is sporadic but consistently good food at reasonable prices. The interior is bigger than it looks from the outside.

Strip mall Asian food. Ordered a bunch of things but the crab seemed to be spoiled, fried, greasy, salty Asian food. I don’t know what else to say. The service was nice but I would not go here for a nice meal or date. Korean/Chinese food. Wouldn’t recommend this place but I believe the prices are pretty good here. Obviously.

My family had a wonderful time there! We loved their food and service! Although my family doesn’t have much time to go out and eat, we love to eat at Twin Dragon! I think it’s a wonderful resturant to eat at and have family time!

This is your typical Chinese restaurant, serving your Americanized Chinese fare. Mongolian Beef is good but too salty, the Kung Pao chicken is also okay; fried rice is good; eggroll is stuffed with the regular ingredients and it’s okay dipped into the soy sauce; and the jjambbong is okay, but it has a small amount of noodles and seafood. I always look forward to their dessert: thin crisps covered with a sugary caramel-like syrup and nuts — delicious! I’ve heard that they’ve revamped the menu and have added Korean dishes and such which is supposedly a hit. +dessert :D

Twin Dragon has added a lot of Korean items since I was here last. My aunt tells me they brought in a little old grandmother who used to get paid $ 7,000 a month at a different restaurant because she’s just that good. I don’t know why my aunt knows that other than she’s a big gossip but my expectations were pretty high after hearing that information, even though we were just ordering off the lunch menu. I always order soon dubu chigae to use as a benchmark. Twin Dragons version was very good though not the best I’ve had. Maybe my expectations were too high. It looked bland at first glance but it was plenty flavorful and spicy. Either way, it’s better than the version at Cho Jung in Glenview but not as good as Haewadall in Morton Grove or Cho Dang. We’re still way behind LA… waaaay behind. The banchan needs a little work imo. Practically every table had at least one bowl of jjajjangmyun so maybe that’s the thing to order here. Just an FYI, if you order the jjajjangmyun, no banchan comes out with it. I don’t know if everyone is aware of that.

I went there with my family and the service was great! They had wonderful food and amazing appetizers. They had wonderful lunch specials that were cheap and that tasted great! I can’t wait to come to Twin Dragon again!

2.5 stars. Maybe this is because we ate here around the closing minutes, but the food was too bland. Especially, the spicy seafood noodle soup tasted like it wasn’t seasoned at all. Their spicy chicken wasn’t that bad, but wasn’t good either. I am not sure if I might try this place again. It’s just that there are better options.
