This place is GREAT! I think the people know me. Always get my order right & the ice cream is always excellent! Love this place!

Best dairy Queen ever. I don’t know what it is but this dairy Queen is so much better then everyother dairy queen.

I usually don’t leave reviews but I felt good about my visit to the Niles DQ. I came into the store this past Wednesday. I was waited on by this very polite man who looked like he should be playing football instead of ice cream. I told him this and he laughed about to many injuries to keep playing. While he was getting my order another customer was trying to get on the door but was handicapped and was having trouble. The worker looked at what was going on and apologized to me and moved toward the door to help this man get into the business without problems. I have to say, being a senior myself, I was very happy to see this from a worker that could have just done nothing.
By the way, he makes one mean hot fudge sundae!
You have a customer for life

This place was great at a special order for Dilly Bars I needed for my family picnic. Karen was so helpful and this will be my new ice cream place

I’d give em –1 star if I could! How many people got poisoned by these assholes yesterday! Both my wife and I got sooooo sick after we ate a blizzard there! I never puked in 10 yrs but this place made me! Don’t go in here they must have cleaned the machine and not cleaned out the soap or cleaning agent they use! ENTER AT YOUR OWN RISK!

ice cream and blizzards are amazing. I love dairy queen. The only reason i give 3 stars is because of the workers. I know its just an ice cream shoppe, but still. Workers should show some respect. They are young and very obnoxious. I don’t know their names, but it was two boys, one Asian and one Caucasian. They got my order wrong and i asked to change it. I could tell they were annoyed. Two boys were very rude when they gave me the right order.
Hire new workers please.

It really doesn’t get better than a Dairy Queen Blizzard (Chocolate Xtreme). One of my favorite ice cream spots.

I went to DQ with my wife for evening treat, And I experienced absolutely worse customer Service ever. I had a coupon which they didn’t accept which is fine. But the «OWNER» was so rude she was like «this is my store I can do what I want, and I was trying to explain to her you are still a franchised DQ, and you have to respect the DQ standard.» She was trying to make a scene, in front of other customer’s, I even had another couple to walk out with me. Instead of having fun night with my wife, we ended up going home and had to find with whom do we need to call about these concern’s, because clearly «OWNER» is not trained properly when I asked for store # they said they can’t give it to me because it’s illegal. She need’s to read corporate law. That’s the most rubbish thing I have ever heard off. I have been in food industries for past 20 years I have owned and operated 3 different franchised, and I have never experienced such an arrogance from «OWNER.» I will find out who the DMA for this store is and he will be informed and I will also be contacting better business bureau.

!!CLERK WAS PICKING HER NOSE WHILE HANDLING SOMEONE ELSE’S CONE!!! The staff here are pretty rude. I ordered a large Vanilla Cone and was amazed at how small the serving size was Went to other Dairy Queens like the one on Lake Street in Wilmette and the portions are much bigger. Went to the one in Northbrook and again portions are much bigger. This place is really skimpy on the amount they give. I asked the clerk if she could kindly add a little more ice cream as it was quite obvious I been here before and received a much bigger portion. She said she would have to make me another one and basically gave me the exact same small size scoop. How insulting! I also didn’t like the way the other clerk quickly picked her nose, as if I wasn’t going to notice that! Good lord she wasn’t making mine. Well I will never be back here again and they lost a customer permenantly.

Whoever thought of putting Girl Scout Tagalong cookies into a blizzard is a genius!
I noticed that half the workers in this establishment look under age. Shouldn’t you kids be in jr high school?
Also, to the girl working the register: that gangsta nod you gave me which I assumed to mean ‘what can I get for you?’ should be reserved for your friends off the job because it screams ‘yo-​homie-​wazzup?’ much more than ‘welcome to Dairy Queen’.

Obnoxious workers (believe me – I don’t expect much from DQ workers, but still…) and soupy Blizzards.
I received a promo from DQ corp. for a customer service survey on receipt kind of thing. All these buy one get one coupons. Several rude teens clustered to read over it and marvel, as though I brought in something most unusual and controversial. A big, bossy gal, all of 19, came out to tell me she does NOT accept «those coupons.»
Ok, fine. Rude, but I want a Blizzard so who cares.
Blizzard came out mangled. No chunks, completing dripping. I am on the opposite of what Kathy R describes – they run the machines too long. If you want it completely mixed, it’s not a Blizzard, it’s a shake.
Other DQs turn the thing upside down – cheesy but love it – to show you the viscosity. Not here.
Not just this time, but many other times we’ve had bad Blizzards and ill-​prepared sundaes, etc.
Love DQ, hate this location.

When I get a craving for ice cream, I usually head here. Love their Blizzards — especially French Silk. (I’d like any chocolate ice cream creation, really). This place is always crowded in the summer.
My one quibble is that the Blizzards aren’t completely mixed. My experience goes like this: bite of ice cream, bite of ice cream, bite of half an Oreo. I don’t think they let the Blizzard machine run long enough.
No matter. It all ends up in the same place anyway — my thighs. :(

This location has the largest selection of ready made ice cream cakes I have ever seen! It is literally a whole wall of ice cream cakes. Their service is fabulous! Their blizzards and other ice cream creations are great too.

Right down the street from Dunkin Donuts/​Baskin Robbins (on the south side of Dempster St.) in the Hollywood Video mall, Dairy Queen still embodies the Ice Cream Parlor venue of the past. I love their ice cream creations, especially the Blizzard. They’re thick, luscious, and still rather inexpensive. I can’t speak for their grill: I go for the ice cream only.
This DQ is crowded during the summer, but the line moves quickly. They have freezers of ready-​made and boxed ice creams to pick up, too. The only complaint I have (and it’s really for a lot fast food places) is that if you go to an evening movie and want a treat afterwards, Dairy Queen does not keep late hours. It’s a family place with lots of kids and good times.
