This place has the worst Indian food I have ever had in my life. The buffet was $ 15 each. A total waste of money. I pity my taste buds, sometimes they have to endure a lot

One of the worst buffet’s i’ve ever had. Don’t get attracted by its proximity to the falls. Very much over-priced and un-hygenic.

I give this place a big fat 0. Worst food ever! The pakora tasted liked soured vinegar. The aloo was tasteless and the paneer tasted like heavy lumps in a gravy that looked like diarrhea. The bathroom had a puddle of pee at the foot of the toilet and to top it off, sprinkles of dried pee on the seat. what a great side to my disgusting entre. I have a feeling I’m going to get sick from this place, I’ll update if I do.

I am still in the restaurant and could not resist writing the review. Awful service, rude owners. We ordered their biryani and it was stinking of uncooked turmeric. We sent it back and request to slightly cook it. The chief, waitress and two more people came rushing out literally to have an argument. Please dont go to this awful unproffesional venture.

I went totally off-season and we did not have much options. Looked like it was either this place or the places inside the souvenir mall or the Hard Rock Café. We went in for lunch buffet, which was decent. Veggie options were plenty and the fresh naan was great. The service was also fine, but there were less people in the restaurant. At this point would only vote it a 3. By evening it started raining and and we wanted to take some food. Souvenir mall food looked completely dry and stale, so decided to pick up food at this place again. Ordered biryani, daal and couple other things. Food tasted really great when it was freshly made hence a 4

Two words — Don’t go. Bad food and very expensive. Their Kulfi is horrible.

Omg, this was the worst Indian restaurant we’ve ever been to in the US… by far! I agree with most of the negative reviewers here. Its a complete rip-off for a $ 15 buffet. They gave us only a plastic plate and asked us to use it for re-fills as well. Ambience was pathetic, extremely over crowded with zero customer service, unhygienic and messy. Food was just ok. Please stay away, find another one. there’s no dearth of Indian restaurants in Niagara falls, anyway!

Lousiest Indian restaurant I have ever been to. Just finished a lunch buffet, 24th may. The price you pay for the quality of food is atrocious. And forget the quality and ambience, its pathetic. You enter the restaurant and you pay $ 15 to get a plastic plate which you have to manage for the rst of the Lunch. i highly encourage people not to visit this place !!!

Totally avoid this restaurant!!! Unhygienic place, bland food and extremely rude staff. Found a strand of hair in the food and the owner/manager couldn’t be bothered to do anything about it! Somebody from the kitchen finally replaced the dish but only after serving it another customer… YIKES! Bad experience and would strongly suggest not to eat here!

I’ve been to many Indian restaurants but few have been as good as this one. I came to the Falls with my extended family and we were craving Indian food. I had been to Punjabi Hut before but it was a terrible experience so decided to come to Village of India since it’s in a can’t miss place. The buffet looked good but with my family being very picky about what they eat, we decided to order off the Menu. Chicken Makhani, Chicken Tikka Masala, Tandoori Chicken, Goat Masala, Lamb Curry, Bhindi Masala, Alu Gobi, Mattar Paneer, Naan, Garlic Naan, and last but not least, Onion Kulcha! Everything tasted amazing and fresh and was made in timely fashion. Stuff is a bit pricey, but hey it’s a tourist location. I will definitely be back.

Priced at $ 15+ tax for a dinner buffet, this place is a total rip off for money. Quality of food is below average. Most dishes were cold, spicy and looked as if they have been sitting there for long. Hygiene was a hit and miss and service was totally absent. Once you pay on the counter, you are totally on your own. Nobody comes to offer you a table or guide you to the buffet counter or serve water or for anything else. Disappointed and not coming back!

**** Never go to this Restaurant ***** 1– Food quality is worst I have tasted ever 2– Price is very high and you do not get any value for money 3– They force you to pay before eat and if you complain for food, they say«only you are complaining so how do I believe there is a problem» 4– Even in my recent visit one of the Paneer Vegetable was expired but they never bothered about it even after complaint. AGAIN, NEVERGOTOTHISRESTAURANTEVENIFYOUWANTTOIGNOREMYREVIEWANDTRYITOUTONCE. ASYOUWILLONLYWASTEYOURHARDEARNEDMONEY.
