I went to this event with a few others. From the marketing it looked like a much larger event than it turned out to be. It takes place on one block of Old Falls Street, the one in front of the culinary institute. There were some nice areas to sit and a surprising amount of shade, which was great on a hot humid day. There were some local restaurants, but also some national chains(TGI Fridays) with booths. Most of the food booths offered a «taste» for 3 – 5 tickets. Those tastes were pretty big, but still, it adds up fast when you try a few things. There was a cupcake stand with cupcakes at 4 tickets each. I don’t think so, that’s very expensive for a cupcake. None of the local Indian places were represented. The few places that were local did a nice job from what I could see. People seemed to enjoy the food. There were also all sorts of other vendors. I have to say, unless they up their game, I wont be back next year. 1878
