Some of my friends starting getting into darts and joined a league. Seemed like fun so I joined them on Wednesday nights for the games but I was using my friend Eric’s crappy extra set of darts so I decided to get my own. All my friends recommended rizzos so I went right away. I thought it was just a pool supply store until I actually went in and saw that they have such an amazing selection of pro quality darts. Not only that, the guy working that day, Ryan was super helpful and very knowledgeable about all the brands they carried. He told me that they have a team as well and they’ve really expanded based on that. I got a set of the pinz and I absolutely love them. I will be going here for all my dart needs without question. Ryan, thank you for all your help!

Bought a house with a pool last year. This year, it needed to get retiled and painted, so we went with Rizzo pool, who built it and had been maintaining it. They wanted 60% up front and liked cash, and I unfortunately agreed, only to find out, after the job was done, that the guy that came to receive payment, a Rizzo employee, took $ 500 «off the top», so that I was being billed as if I had paid less after the job was done. The actual job? Ok. Projecting just few days, it took them an entire month. First coat of paint bubbled, which must have frightened them because then they were gone for about a week and a half, with no explanation. They eventually, after several phone calls, came to hastily finish the second coat, ignoring complaints about how the paint bubbled. Days after this, whatever sealant they had used between the tiles and the deck began to crack and to fall into the pool. Weeks later, after two letters, with pictures, I finally had to cll them and argue about such things as whether the sealant was part of the contract, or about the«missing» $ 500, or whether they knew that they had promised me to share the cost of refilling the pool with water. This was not a satisfactory or pleasant exchange. They actually offered to replace the cracked sealant, but for additional money. They are off my list as reputable service people, and they should not be on yours.

Chris was in search of a new dart set, and a friend recommended Rizzo for their selection of quality darts. So, we set off on a quest. I have never purchased darts, so I am not really sure what qualifies as a grand selection. Rizzo had about four or five sets for $ 30 or under displayed on the counter. There were also about twelve to fifteen sets total of sharp darts and soft tip darts in a display case. They ranged in price from around $ 50 to well over $ 100. I suppose that is a decent selection, but I am no dart connoisseur. What was great about Rizzo is that they allowed Chris to throw each set of darts that he was considering buying. They have an in-house board set up in the corner just for that purpose. It was very helpful for him to feel the weight of each dart set he threw, as he is a dart novice and would not have been able to make an informed decision based on internet specs alone. Dart enthusiasts probably hold a greater appreciation than I am capable of for the selection of dart components that Rizzo carries. They have an entire half wall dedicated to components and various spinners/flyers that you attach to the end of the dart to make it awesome(I am sure there is a much more technical purpose for them). All in all, we had a good experience, and Chris now owns darts that he loves. So, if you need darts, forget the fact that this is technically a pool place, and go get your mini javelin on. Just watch out for the Cheeto bandit behind the counter who finds it completely unnecessary to wipe the cheesy powder from his fingers before man-handling your new dart set.
