This place has been such a huge part of my life since I was a child! Food is great, love stopping in for a pizza on a quick night. Always happy to help.

Killer lobster bisque soup special and the chef whipped up some sautéed garlic in olive oil that was amazing dipping bread in and pizza!

Great service — just really friendly and happy to serve you. They want you to be happy. The red sauce is excellent and the fried calamari isn’t the typical frozen low quality that you get elsewhere. Garlic bread was heavenly. Good amount of garlic and not over cooked to the point of being dried out. I have been here a couple times already and will be back to this place again.

The best pasta with butter & garlic& spinach!!! You should try it out! Plus they have 50+ banquet hall for parties & groups for business together and have fun, with a full bar too!!! They will make you anything you want to eat & drink @ Italian Mia! So go and check out the food & desserts too! Great serves, Great cooks, bus boys, waiters and waitresses to help you out… Plus they have take outs and deliveries to your home!!! Can’t beat that for a great meal !!

The décor is a bit dated but the food is consistent, flavorful and a great bargain. We usually pick up our meals and never have to wait even though we live very close by. They now offer delivery too!

Very disappointing. Service was terrible. It was probably 10 – 15 minutes after we were seated before anyone came near us. Although an apparent remodel had taken place, it was done in poor taste, and was cold and unwelcoming, including the lighting. There were(clearly) very old & used tables, and no table clothes. Not even a placemat. And the food? A big thumbs down. You could tell the salads(iceberg lettuce) were pre-made and the individual bowls kept in the fridge uncovered. My chicken parm and pasta was mediocre. My friend’s was practically inedible. It was just a pasta bolognese, but it was very salty. She realized it was the pasta that was basically inedible, so apparently there was a salting accident when cooking the pasta. All she could do was nibble on some of the meat. She wasn’t charged for her meal(which is the only reason I gave it a 2nd star).

This restaurant used to be very good, but the last two times I was there the quality was terrible. It seems they are going for quantity over quality. My young daughter ordered pasta and meatball… it looked liked mystery meat and she wasn’t a fan. We had a pizza for the rest of us that was soggy and undercooked. Just overall underwhelmed by our experience and probably will never return.

4−24−14 Went there tonight and waited at the door to be seated for several minutes. Finally the woman at the pizza counter said to have a seat. 15 minutes went by and two waitresses and a waiter walked by and ignored us. Then the three of them argued in front of us like we weren’t even there, about who’s table it was and walked away. We walked out. And not before I expressed my concern over their disrespect, which the staff didn’t seem to be too concerned. I called back and complained to the owner who was walking in when this happened. He was a little sympathetic, and offered us a gift card, which I will pick up and give away, because I have no plan on going back here in the near future. The service has been better in the past, and I’m very disappointed with them tonight!

Great food, great environment and atmosphere. I only came here once on a random occasion and liked the chicken francaise dish I got. Their salads and appetizers are good too, the prices are jacked up a little high, but it’s a nice fancy place to go for a first date

What a lovely surprise! My boyfriend had mentioned Italia Mia(My Italy) several times over the past two years but last night was the fist night I actually stepped inside. Even though it was a glass enclosed room on a cold rainy February nigh, the room was warm and comforting.(I personally think carpeting helps achieve this and although it is harder to maintain, I think guests have a better, more comforting experience in restaurants with carpeting.) We were greeted right away by Georgette who obviously took that extra second to sense what kind of mood we were in. Her intuition was correct and she made our dining experience really enjoyable. We never wanted for anything. Her recommendations were spot on and after I my hungry little brain cells were bathed in my delicious eggplant, Carl’s Steak Gorgonzola and a little of the creamiest Cabernet I have ever tasted, I felt like a human again. When I engaged Georgette she was extremely warm and friendly despite it being what I can only assume was her 15th hour of work between jobs. She was so professional, caring and accommodating I really recommend requesting her when making reservations or just walking in! Thank you Georgette from a really happy customer! I used to get a cheese pie from Italia Mia almost once a week. It’s the best pizza that I have ever found outside of NYC, and I have woken up in a pool of my own drool after having dreamed of eating it. Now that I live on the opposite side of the country, I weep in fond remembrance any time I try a new pizza place, hoping vainly that it will come close to Italia Mia’s. Anytime I visit family in the area, I make a special trip to this place. Aside from their pizzas, I always found their alfredo and ala vodka sauces to be a$$ kicking. Their antipasto was delicious and their lunch specials were always great, too.

The food is good but it’s not the best. I think it’s just another Italian Restaurant in a town. The food just didn’t wow me the way I would have liked it to.

Good eggplant parm, had it at a catered event. We also enjoyed tortellini, salad and bread. On a different occasion, we ordered the pizza, which was ok, but not as good as the other dishes. Sometimes we have to press them for a local delivery, which is a bit annoying, but overall we have had a good experience working with them. Not great by any means, but good food that is consistent, which is important.

Best New York Italian comfort food in New Milford. Eggplant and Chicken Parm are delicious, as is the pizza.

There are A LOT of Italian restaurants in the unjustifiably pretentious town of New Milford, Connecticut. Most of them are worse than this one. Italia Mia has the best pizza in town, which isn’t to say that it’s very memorable, just not BAD like most of the other offerings around.

I ate here recently with the family. The service was excellent and the menu offerings were great. They had a regular menu and a two-for menu that included a bottle of wine. The prices are very good. Everyone at the table enjoyed their food and the wine was good too.
