Things you need to know if you go here for coffee: 1.The small coffee is TINY 2. They charge more for dark roast — I’ve never seen that before in all my coffeehouse jaunts unless it’s a specialty bean 3. A refill is the price of an entirely new cup of coffee — see #1 So, when I pointed out that I had never been there before, the cup was smaller than I expected, and I would happily pay for the differential between the small and medium in order to get out of there for less than $ 5 for a reasonable amount of coffee, the girls behind the counter looked at me in that pleasantly without answering. So, I left — still a Starbucks girl!

Great little small business coffee shop in the town square. Free parking and great shops all around. Staff and customers were very friendly. Coffee is great and food was made to order fresh. Breakfast available all day. Have a cup and make a friend.
The breakfast sandwiches are huge, stuffed with fluffy eggs and surrounded by soft, chewy bagels. The coffee is robust and flavorful. This little gem was absolute heaven when we stumbled across it. The inside has several«seat-yourself» tables and chairs, and was relatively packed but we still found a seat. Husband had a mocha and I had a black coffee which I was very happy with. I’m a big coffee snob, so that means something. We each got a giant egg cheese and bacon breakfast sandwich but we easily could have split one and been content. The eggs were so light and perfect– no comparison to the cheap, franchise-type you get at the drive-through. The small town charm was overflowing and the staff was really nice and accommodating. There was really nothing I could complain about except that our chairs weren’t that comfortable. Not enough of an issue to hinder our experience. Highly recommend!

Love this place! My fiancé and I go every Saturday morning and they’re always so nice. The bagels are so awesome– almost like baguettes. Iced tea is some of the best I’ve ever had and my fiancé loves the coffee.

This place is great! Been in new Milford for only just a while but I make sure to come here most mornings for tea and a orange cranberry scone! Best scone ever! And there mango smoothies! This place is way better then your local Starbucks.

I love this coffee, great food, quick and priced cheap. There isn’t a better place in a stones throw… I’ve gotten the pesto turkey sandwich many times, always consistently good. Iced coffee is excellent because of their special ingredient… COFFEECUBES!!!

Super cozy! Came here after breakfast at the local diner. I love the selection of their specialty drinks. I wish I had room to try one but we just opt for tea and coffee. There is also ample seating around and you will always find a table or some chairs to sit down and catch up or study!

Only reason it doesn’t get a 5star rating is because as AMAZING as their specials are that consistently change… they are expensive. Around $ 5 for a specialty latte, for example. But regular flavored coffee is about $ 1.40-small, $ 1.70-medium, $ 1.95 for large. Their pumpkin spice flavored coffee is AMAZING. Decently sized, nice trendy employees that genuinely seem nice. Only complaint is the room in front of the register is very small, and with a double stroller like we have, we constantly feel like we are in the way or bumping into people as we place/get our order. Other than that, great. Love that we can just walk here on our weekend mornings!

I go back and try this place every once in a while because I really want to like it, but after a recent couple of visits I can report that it is as dismal as ever! If there is more than 1 person in line I don’t even go in because it means at least a 5 – 10 minute wait to place my order, while being completely ignored by a rude/oblivious staff. I have never been greeted with a smile or a kind word, the staff seems irritated to be there. The coffee is okay but just okay, and totally not with dealing with the staff. I am always disappointed to see the food case filled with Costco products… it is just unacceptable. I do not trust the kids working there to prepare food so I do not eat there. The vibe is depressing. I ALWAYS support small business over corporate places, and I would love to be a Bank Street Coffee patron, but I can’t, just can’t. There hours are limited too, the cCLOSED sign appears on the door right on the dot, even if the street if filled with people. For coffee in town I go to the frozen yogurt place on the green or the sweet spot around the corner.

Ownership isn’t «customer friendly» especially for«local regulars» but worth an occasional Sunday morning. Coffee is good and baristas are friendly and trained well.

This place is awesome! Growing up in New Milford I didn’t expect this place to have all the offerings I’m used to from the cities I’ve lived in since. I would go to Starbucks(*sigh) to get work done because I thought their menu would be more extensive. However, I tried this spot one day and have changed my routine! They have many different types of teas, tea lattes, boba!, smoothies, variety of coffee and espresso drinks, etc. My only complaint was that the barista didn’t ask what size drink I wanted and what type of milk I wanted(I am difficult– skim milk over the default whole milk). Good place to come to get work done, free wifi, outlets.

These small town hipsters know what they’re doing. A perfect iced latte with the right amount of hazelnut syrup, just as I requested. I’ll be back when I’m coming through. Pleasant downtown street near the former train station and village green. A good walk from where Route 202 diverges from Route 7.

Quaint and casual coffee shop, plenty of room to sit, home made goods, we usually get a latte(pumpkin in the Fall), quiche of the day and a couple bagels.

Support local businesses. These guys have a nice menu, great coffee, friendly service, it’s cosy, it’s a community hub — you don’t want a place like this to die. Remember — your alternative is Starbucks up the street — burnt coffee, mass-manufactured pastries, spray-painted boards manufactured to imply local«color».

Used to come here all the time when I lived in New Milford. Came back for the summer and decided to settle in to do some research, planning on buying a coffee eventually. There was only one other customer inside seated, reading a newspaper, it certainly wasn’t packed. Less than 10 minutes into my visit I was approached and was(a little rudely) told I needed to buy something to stay. Its understandable but left a bad taste in my mouth. This place used to be really laid back, My friends and I used to come here to do homework but were never harassed to buy something. I’ve always supported this local coffee shop but lighten up.

Milfred is such a charming town… I just had to try a cup of coffee at this quaint little coffee shop next to a bookstore. It’s located at the end of a short street that overlooks pretty mountains of CT. I was a visitor… just passing by on my way to a local winery with a friend and we stopped in for some coffee. We were surprised to find that they also sell boba. Seemed kind of unfitting for the area … in fact… one of the baristas gave a quick tutorial on proper insertion of a boba straw to an elder lady in front of us in line. Hehe, cute. The coffee was alright — pretty standard house blend. The décor was very cute and they had a small selection of baked goods. They’ve also got a decent light breakfast & lunch menu as well!

I love this place! I have seen this place advance and emerge into something good. The amount of upgrades done is great. I love the food and there beverages. If you need to do homework on your computer you can use there wifi. It’s not a big place but that’s ok. The price is moderate, not too cheap but not too expensive.

A quaint coffee shop in New Milford that does involve Route 7. They have nice table and some chairs to relax at. With some nice photography hung on the walls to add to the setting on the side off this one way street. Their coffee is good, sandwiches are ok. Muffins and pastries are ok, but could easily be improved in quality with a little more attention to their ingredients and preparation.

Not loose leaf but decent quality bag teas and bakery selection with a home feel atmosphere worth relaxing in.
