The food was good but the service wasn’t good. We drove 2 hours because we miss Goldilocks food but we’re very disappointed about the service! Our server that day was RIZA! I think she should have training in customer service! Or shouldn’t be in front of the house!

Portions could be a little bigger though. bakery favs: –Ensaymada –Siopao Pork Asado Overall: Very tasty items to try here. A little expensive, lines and waits for dine-in can be long during peak lunch/dinner hours. Breakfast is very delicious! Will definitely come back.

I love this place! They have vast selection of meals, cakes, desserts, pastries and more yummy treats! Braso de Mercedes is my favorite one while my husband loves their ube cake. Polvoron is something to try, along with the siopao and puto. My husband loves their cakes! Prices: Some stuff is a little pricey. Parking Lot: There is a huge parking lot but it gets crowded very easily, especially on the weekends. Overall, it’s a great bakeshop. I do find this place to be clean, orderly, and well stocked with a relatively large selection of goodies. This place is the bomb!

Service is lacking a little bit. My bf and i came in about 10 minutes before two larger groups of people(one group of 5 and one group of 4). Both groups got their orders in before us. And both groups, despite ordering much more than us, got their food out 15 minutes before we did. We only ordered two plates… And the galbi is rather skimpy for $ 13. On the other hand, the adobo fried rice was good. Staff was friendly. 3.5÷5

We went here this weekend after La Jolla beach. The place did not disappoint. Been eating Goldilocks when we are in Manila and the quality in this restaurant isn’t any difeeent. Just authentic filipino food. We had pork BBQ stick, fresh lumpia, fried limpia and inihaw na baboy. Woowww! I can’t wait to take my parents here when they visit us from NJ.

Better to dine here in a group than for two. The staff is very friendly, in that homely aunt Filipino kind of way. They were slow in replenishing our drinks and getting us the check, I don’t know if they thought we were going to hang out there, but it seemed odd. I ordered a Thai ice tea, sizzling sigsig and the fried fish. I forgot the actual name of the dish. The the Thai Ice tea was Thai ice tea, and nothing more needs to be said about that. The sigsig was in fact sizzling with an egg cooking on top of it. Great seasoning and good texture in the Sigsig. The fish was also very good. At the end we had a bannana split with mango, ube and coconut. Everything was very good, I don’t usually eat Filipino food in a resturant setting. It’s usually trays, grab and go, but I really did enjoy this experience. My only complaint was that it was a little expensive. At the end of the meal it was $ 50. We did order a lot, and we did order large portions. I would come back here in a group setting, so I could explore thenl menu better

Usually great! But tried the mango cheesecake tonight and was gross! Usuallyly go in for mango cake, so I assumed the cheese would be just as good. No… FAIL! The crust was ro crumbly and sweet. the topping was way to sweet. The cheesecake part tasted like some jello no bake product. I give this a 2. But Goldilocks is still so yummy don’t get me wrong!

I was recommended to Goldilocks by my Zumba Filipino Mama. We ordered a few dishes including Pancit Palabok, Kare Kare, and Sinigang. My personal favorite was Sinigang. I love the sour flavor. YUM! I also ordered Ube cake but wasn’t too impressed. It looks like dishes is a hit or a miss… but you can’t go wrong with Sinigang! ENJOY!

mmm. reminds me so much of the motherland. Yummy Filipino food and desserts. I love their taho and halo halo. Although the food is always better in the Philippines. Disappointed with their Original polvoron — tastes nothing like in PI. annnndd how can you not have JUFRAN?(Filipinos put JUFRAN on everything LOL. Overall this place is still delicious.

Came in when was super busy during the weekend. My visit was for the Mamon, ube rolls, and halo halo to try to beat heatwave. A bit on the pricier side of Filipino bakery items, but the food tasted as expected for goldilocks quality. Service was average. I had to really get an employee’s attention to get help. Being acknowledged when coming into a restaurant goes a long way. Would I come here again? Their special decorative cakes might.

I came by here to pick up some bakery items. We were greeted fairly quickly and wandered around. My son wanted to look at all the cakes first. I’m sure he gets that from me. He had to direct me to take photos of this one and that one before I could move onto the actual shopping. I wanted some ensaymada and pan de leche. I probably could’ve bought more, but they seemed to be out of quite a few items, probably for the best. I can never pass up empanadas though, so I had to get some of those. They only carry chicken here, kind of a bummer, but oh well. The service was friendly. My son asked the lady at checkout about birthday cakes. She was pretty nice, but I don’t think I’d buy one here, the prices here seem pretty steep, especially considering he doesn’t even like cakes with filling. The ensaymada was fine, it was fresh and not too sweet. The pan de leche was a let down. It couldn’t be separated at all without a knife. All of them were stuck together and kind of a mess. They tasted ok, but I was expecting better quality. The empanadas were good. The chicken was seasoned well and the crust was finished with an egg wash. I would definitely buy these again if in the area.

My go-to Filipino place for Crispy Pata and Lumpia when I’m shopping in this complex(near Seafood City and Golden Chopsticks). I’ll just let the photos speak for themselves.

Been years since I’ve been here, but it’s still as delicious! A friend of mine was craving this spot so we had to drop by. Excellent service and the meals were very tasty. Oh man the sago and the adobo fried rice were so good! I could have devoured a trough of the stuff. Give this place a shot if you’re curious about Filipino dishes. Even my Caucasian friend enjoyed the dishes!

The guy was rude. No eye contact. Yelled over us to call another cashier to serve us. Then we were served a beverage that was only 2⁄3 full.

First time to try the restaurant. Service was decent and kitchen was pretty quick. The spaghetti was good. Nothing to write home about. Reminded me of my cousin’s but not as sweet or as chick. Good size portion of food, not a lot but enough to fill you up. The chicken wings were pretty good. I like the tangy sauce it came buried in. A little messy to eat but not that bad. Definitely had better but it hit the spot. The bakery items here are pretty good. They also have cakes which I probably had at a family party but never actually bought.

One word that describes this place is «inconsistent». You never know if you’re going to have good service or a good meal. I came here with my mom yesterday and ordered some calamari dish. By the time it arrived at our table it was completely burnt. We told our waitress and showed her our blackened calamari and she just giggled without offering any apology or replacement. I will not be visiting this place again anytime soon.

Goldilocks is Goldilocks! If you grew up knowing about this place, you’d know what I mean by that first statement. It’s sort of a like a standard of Filipino food in that it is pretty good, not the best, but every Filipino person can get their fix here. I mean, some Filipino restaurants are just terrible, but here you can get something consistently good. As far as this specific location, it’s one where you can go straight to the register and order anything to-go or you can sit down and have a server take your order(yes, that means tip at the end of the meal). Parking can somewhat be difficult – you’ll be able to get some for sure in less than a few minutes but for some reason it’s more apparent that people are fighting for the first row of cars(more so than other times where everyone wants close parking – like there will be people waiting for that close parking lot when they can just drive around the corner in 5 seconds and grab a parking spot. Goldilocks is great! Get your nephew/niece a nice cake with generic plastic figurines placed on them.

Food: VERY delicious. I tried the pork adobo, I usually get the chicken adobo but I was so pleased getting that plate instead. I recommend the sizzling sisig as well. Both great plates you don’t want to miss out on. We ordered three plates of different food and white rice just to try a little of everything. Sharing is caring, I can’t wait to come back and try everything. I love me some filipino food, yumm. Atmosphere: casual, little bit of wait but worth it. Good for parties not to mention they have a bakery as well. Just incase you want something sweet. Costumer service: great costumer service. Helpful as well, especially if you never had filipino food before.
