Karaōke is wonderful!!! They need more women’s restrooms. One stall is not enough to have the traffic they have. It’s quite ridiculous!!! Have respect for the customers you serve! Close your doors if you can’t renovate!

Fiends that live/have visited Nashville suggested this place and I honestly don’t know why. Wanted a change of scenery from the honky tonks on Broadway… big mistake. Simply a college dive-bar with karaōke… pass #mediocre

2nd night in Nashville we wanted something a little different and not so touristy honky tonk of broadway. We heard midtown is the spot. This place is like a dive bar you would see in a college town. Everyone is fairly young, well alot younger then broadway. Love how they have karaōke here. The vibe is fun, very laid back. In the battle between Winners and Losers(the bar next door) this place deff wins!

One star is one too many but the long and short of it is that the staff was unfriendly and rude from the get-go and seemed completely annoyed with having to breathe, let alone take our drink order. Not just one, but all of the 5 or 6 bartender girls we encountered were equally cold and lame. Miserable people all around. Forget this place.

Female bartenders are rude if you’re a tourist trying to have a good time. My buddies and I were told that we were annoying and loud and to close out our tab. Not until after we spent a good amount of money here, were they quick to dismiss us. It’s a cool place but with poor/rude service. We spoke with the manager but it was obvious he is not in control there. I wish I could give zero stars. It’s definitely unfortunate.

Great place to listen to live music and grab a few beers. Open late and great house band.

Wow! I never write reviews, good or bad, so imagine my frustration with this place to actually take time off my busy schedule to write a review. The blond and brunette female bartenders were the rudest and most racist people I have ever met in my life. I am so disappointed at the way they treated our group. We were a very diverse group with people of all backgrounds and based on how we were treated, one can deduce that if you’re any other race than white, stay away from this place!!! It’s awful being discriminated against even though you speak the same language as they do and were born and raised in this country, just like they were. They lost our business and we will NEVER go back there because they don’t deserve our business.

We were visiting Nashville for a few days and we decided to find a nice local pub to spend one of those nights… Boy what a mistake that was, I probably should’ve listened to the über driver when he said that the downtown bars are«nicer to the outsiders». The lady bartenders were very rude to us from the beginning and they were not shy about it either. One of the ladies got irritated because I found a fly in my drink and she had to remake it, really? A few hours in they decided to express their feelings by cursing at us, we decided to take our business somewhere else because the lady bartenders made racist comments and the manager«turtle» did nothing when these allegations were brought to him. Definitely not worth you money or time!

I have been to Winners Bar and Grill at least a twenty times in 2013 and 2014 since several of my friends wanted to go there and since it was very close to the University but I would say that this bar is not worth your money and that you should go to one of the better ones instead. This bar is easy to access since it is close to Vanderbilt University and in the heart of Mid-Town, and it has an outdoor patio area. The good thing about this bar is that you get live music once in a while which is pretty nice. Parking will be very challenging in the area so make sure to get there early. The drinks here are acceptable but be ready to have a LOT more ice than alcohol for the price you pay… Also, this bar is very often empty, so it is hard to have a good time in there, expect if you come with many friends. Finally, I would qualify the food they serve as low-quality bar food. Overall, my experience with Winners Bar and Grill was rather negative and I would not recommend it. There are better bars in Nashville! Feel free to message me for any additional details that you may need!

Ive been here two times and had two different experiences. The first was on an early Sunday afternoon. It was great! It was not crowded, had cheaper beer, and an outdoor patio with plenty of seating. The last time was during a Saturday night. It wasnt so good. It was very crowded and people were hostile. I was shoved and pushed the whole time. Some people seemed hateful and irritated. There was a fight that broke out also that I nearly ended up being in the center of accidentally.

Solid bar and grill. Ate dinner and had drinks during whiskey jam. Food was good, service was great too. Drinks weren’t over priced nor was the bill. All alcohol wasn’t under done, which made for perfect drinks.

Wasn’t let in because I «seemed like I was having trouble». I had three beers the evening and clearly sober. Will never go back because of how rude the bouncers were to me.

This place is alright, went here on a Friday night and the atmosphere was pretty chill. The reason I’m rating 3 stars is because my girlfriend ordered a top shelf drink and the bar tender started off pouring her rail liquor. She corrected her but she left the rail liquor in the drink and shortly afterwards my girlfriend felt sick(not because of being too drunk, cause and effect of the rail liquor). We had to end our night early due to this so if you really can’t stomach cheap liquor, make sure they pour you the good stuff.

Not one of my favorites in Nashville. Your going to experience more of the Vandy college crowd if you go here during the weekends. I love their karaōke though, you would be surprised most of the people are pretty good. The bathroom situation is horrible. It can become crowded, so if you want to experience Winners my advice is to go early. I have never tried their food so can’t comment on that. But if your visiting, or over 25, I wouldn’t recommend this establishment. The only reason this is getting 3 stars and not 1 or 2 is because the service is exceptional.

$ 2 domestic beer in long neck bottles on Funday Sunday May 18th, Sunday, Tony and I decided to Urban Hike today again in Nashville. So, after we made a few stops we ended up here… Winner’s Bar and Grill on the West Side off Broadway near Vanderbilt University. It is a Sunday and about 11am. so its not really crowded… A good thing! Our Waitress was very friendly and quick to greet us, but didn’t give us her name. We liked this bar right from the start. Well lit with Natural light and décor was in Football, with TV on the screens so it reminded us of a sports bar. There is a corner band area, not really large but right size… the tables are all high tops and one large booth. They are spread apart for ample room to move around. The waitress brought us menus and got our drink order. She immediately told Tony the drink special is Funday Sunday $ 2 domestic long necks… Great price… so Tony ordered his favorite… can you guess??? Budweiser I ordered a soda… we looked through the menu(very simple two sides only) but we opted not to eat here. We already decided on Five Points on the other side of town. The music was casual rock and country blend. nothing major. They allow smoking inside and out on the patio… a plus in Tony’s book. They have on street parking(if you can grab a spot) and a private parking lot you can access from the alleyway. The patio area is nice and large. I really liked this spot and I would go here again. The prices were right, staff friendly and quick and menu looked adequate… next time will have to try some actual food… lol !!! But the beer pricing was great…$ 6 for both drinks with taxes and tip

I can’t say for sure why we chose to spend our afternoon at Winners and not Losers when we all know where my friends and I stand. However, with some folks(not me) it’s probably difficult to diagnose the full extent of their problems with a cursory glance, so they let us inside anyway. In any case, Winners might look like your average sports bar, but they did have complimentary bail bonds koozies, picklebacks, buckets of six Bud LIghts for $ 12, and the sweetest bartenders around. And although the food is just your standard fried fare, the cook will gladly give you handful of flour as long assure him that you just want to slap your friend in the face with it.

Winner’s is hands down my favorite place to karaōke in Nashville. While there are some aspiring country music singers scattered throughout, I feel more comfortable singing my random crazy songs here with a group of friends. A lot of downtown karaōke bars are 80% amazing singers, 20% random drunk people. I like that I don’t feel that I’m the only bad singer out there when I visit Winner’s! Plus, you never know who you will run into at Winner’s. One night a random dude came in and sang«Friends in Low Places» with someone from our group who was on stage; it turns out the guy is a well known songwriter in Nashville, and he WROTE that song. Wow. The prices are reasonable and you are sure to meet some new friends! Plus I love the patio out front and the randomness that ensues! Note: karaōke is only on Friday and Saturdays :)
