I’m gonna shave my fingers off so I can replace them with this monkey picked oolong omg I luv it. After I shave them off I can dip my monkey picked fingers in that sweet hot h20 and steep my oolong fingers. Not too long but oolong. I do not however like the fig tea that is bogus shank dunk. Put that stuff in hot Agua and you’re gonna have a bad rest of your life lol Kel

FABtabulous service! I read some of the other reviews about this store and I have no idea who they were working with. Vance took amazing care of me with my purchase, was very helpful, answered all my questions and let me decide what I did and didn’t want. I felt no pressure. I highly recommend this store! They were so awesome, my whole family of 5 got a free cup of tea($ 25 value) & my 9 year old wanted to tip them for their amazing service.

I buy loose leaf tea @ Teavana all the time in Florida. I went in to this store as I just wanted to pick up a few blends, the lady at the counter was really a ‘hustler’, she was pushing products on me like there’s no tomorrow, it really defeats the purpose. They have good products/quality teas, why the aggressive sales attitude? I will continue to buy at Teavana, but will avoid this store.

I spend quite a bit of time with tea, my best friend might be my one touch tea maker. This store, on the other hand, was disappointing. I might have high expectations but there are different locations with more impressive customer service. As soon as you enter there is a passion for tea in the air but not here. The other locations have given me excellent recommendations and really listen when I talk about what I’m looking for. The employees here don’t seem as interested. I’ve recently started buying tea by the cup to decide what to fill my larger tins with. It was really disappointing when I was told that the weekend menu was my only option for prepared tea. The reaction I got when I said that nothing on the menu interested me gave me all the reasons I need to avoid this location in the future.

I love Teavana! A welcome alternative to Starbucks – especially in the midst of a hectic shopping escapade. This quaint nook of a beverage stop is nestled next to Sephora in the Green Hills mall – the vibe is very inviting, lots of enchanting aroma happening here. I absolutely love teas, but am not super knowledgeable or adventurous as to what I want. On multiple occasions, I’ve told the person working that I want something«fresh» or «fruity» and I’ve never been disappointed! Bonus, they have little carafes set up all over the store for sampling. You can buy tea by the pound, as well as kettles and other accessories. Every time I trek into here, I convince myself to go home and deep dive into researching teas… that’s what this place can do to you. Consider yourself warned.

Avoid the hype and the pressure… know to ask for what you want. That’s the second rule of fight Club, er I mean Teavana(Nashvegas edition). Much like this weekend, my intent is to grab a pure tea on sale(Golden Monkey black was — 30%) and get a few sample of everything else. Find what I like and come back when it’s on sale. I’m in an out in less than 10 minutes. I used to take this place seriously until I realized, as someone said earlier, that they salespeople really aren’t listening. That’s cool, I just want tea. I’ve been coming here for at least 4 years and at least I can say they’re consistent. Maybe it’s an effective if not uncomfortable business model. Speaking of… The one WEIRD thing I’ve noticed since the Starbucks buyout of Teavana is that the non-traditional tea sets seem to be of less quality than years past. Maybe that’s the tea snob in me, but it’s an honest observation after actually touching one of the visually appealing tea cups.

gosh. you can easily get yourself in trouble in this store. I had no idea tea could be so costly. I was still happy with my experience because the tea smells and tastes really good but these ladies are hustlers. no joke. I even saw two girls high five each other after they sold $ 500 worth of tea to some guy. what a schmuck.

smells great, but, poor customer service. the lady immediately tried to sell me a $ 18⁄2 oz tea, and acted upset when i asked about the less expensive. she kept talking about how the $ 18 per 2 oz one was the best and this and this and this and this… so i’m left thinking«why do y’all sell „crap“ for $ 4 per 2 oz then?» doesn’t seem like they at all care about helping you find your perfect tea and instead care only about shaming you into buying the über expensive stuff.

I have been buying tea from them for a couple of years until I found some specialty teas online with free shipping and no sales tax… 10% sales tax is mighty high… Their prices are comparable to the best teas sold. Good variety, but what I have found is that they lose their fragrance shortly after opening the pouches. I make a lot of iced tea with my loose leaf teas… When the pouch is first opened, the fragrance is fabulous, but sadly, disappears shortly after opening. I’m not a tea snob, but I do appreciate fine teas. If I could buy their tea without shipping or 10% sales tax, I would continue to purchase small quantities… but when I can save $$$$ by buying online, I will continue to purchase from other places.

I’m amused, reading over some of the very negative reviews for Teavana. I’m empathetic, and I truly agree — commission seems to be a Teavana employee’s magic word. I wholly recommend entering Teavana with a thick skin, set on buying only what you had planned on. Sure, I’ve caved in the past. and have since learned my lesson! Back at Teavana, after a year-long disappearance, is the Black Dragon Pearl Tea!!! I made so many wonderful cups of this tea a couple years ago sweetened with honey and vanilla almond/rice milk, and suddenly — it was no longer carried at Teavana. So I settled for a similar black tea, the Golden Monkey, which I was able to make many successful cups of. But I ran out in the last couple months, and braved myself for the Teavana shopping experience in order to replenish. Lo and behold, my first love was BACK in action! So what I ended up doing was buying 2 oz of it and the Golden Monkey. And I had to deny hard, hard, hard, the new yellow tea, which is apparently the finest, most rare in the WORLD! THEWORLD! It is pricey to buy tea at Teavana, and I wish it wasn’t so. The teas taste great. But why do they taste great? Is there a special ‘somethin’ somethin” in Teavana’s tea that create the above average flavors? I worry about this a little bit, what ‘unnatural’ things are in the tea. But the worry doesn’t keep me away from my Black Dragon Pearls.

Very good product, very bad experience. PROS: Very good product –The tea is good, and their proprietary tea steeping/delivery device is well designed. CONS: Everything else –Overpriced –Worst salespeople I have ever encountered. They’re pushy, and they don’t listen to anything you say. They don’t care about listening to or understanding your needs or requests, all they care about is up-selling. They’re all the same so they’re obviously trained to interact with customers this way. Whoever designed this model of interaction needs to be punched in the face. SOLUTION: Go to the store and have the sales people demonstrate all their devices and let you sample all their teas. Take all the time you need to get a really good idea of what you want. Then, while you are still standing in the store, use your smartphone to order what you want from their website. Or, better yet, order it from the Adagio website.

I can’t think of a business in Nashville that I hate stepping foot in more than Teavana. Both locations in town. I literally get anxiety when I just walk by their store front. No I don’t want this $ 15 washi tape tea tin to put my tea in, I have a tin at home. No I don’t want to try some random tea that is $ 18 for a mere 2oz then I specifically ask for another tea that is only $ 8 for 2oz. Here is a typically conversation EVERYSINGLETIME I go to Teavana: Me — «Can I get 2oz of the Samurai Chai Mate» Employee — «Have you smelled this«blah blah blah» chai before? Me — «No, I’m good. I’ll take the Samurai Chai.» Employee — «Here… smell this anyway» Me — «Cool. Smells good. Can I get 2oz the Samurai Chai? Employee — «Are you sure you don’t want to try something new?» Me — «Yep. I’m good!!!» Employee — «Okay :(« Employee — :weighs out my tea: «Is 3oz okay?» Me — «No. I need 2oz only. Thanks» Employee — «What about 2.6oz?» Me — «No.» Employee — Bags up 2.5oz of tea and rings me up JESUSTAKETHEWHEEL. I hate you ALL. At this point I’m so freaking mad I just buy it and leave. I will not be back. I’d rather pay for shipping charges and order online. Or find another great chai elsewhere.
