Kroger

I have lived in the neighborhood for a few years and shopped here a lot… I will say that although this is still not the absolute nicest and largest grocery in the city, it has REALLY improved over the past few months. The store has been remodeled, a small fresh seafood counter was opened, there are certainly many more organic and gourmet options than in the past and they seem to have added more staff. A solid 4 stars

This one is touch and go, sometimes 3 sometimes 4. 4 for the Deli!!! Always helpful. Who can say that? 3 –Not because of the sales, but the workers and the clientele. It just is a touch and go. The Kroger Fuel keeps me coming back and the Belle Meade Kroger are all teenagers. I digress. The parking is easy, large lot, no sharing. It is a medium size store and I usually really like the cashiers, but sometimes you get that 1 you are surprised they still have a position in the company. That happens few and far between. Easy in and easy out. No it is not Whole Foods, it is Kroger with Fuel.

Stopped in to see what type of craft beers that Nashville had in there area. Very disorganized. I also had a Kroger coupon for a free hot-​sauce from the football game I was at earlier. When I inquired about where the item was the clerk stated they do not carry that item. Which was strange as it was a promotional item between Kroger and NFL’s Titans. Staff was not overly considered about service. So I left the coupon with them due to it was only valid for Nashville locations and I was only in town for the football game and was not staying in town.

This kroger is 3 min from my house an I actually drive an additional 15 min out of my way to another grocery to avoid going here. This store is absolutely horrible. Filthy, produce is not fresh, employees rude… The list goes on. I wish upper management would put the hammer down on this kroger as it would be so nice with how close it is to my neighborhood. Avoid.

I like the hardworking staff & free coffee. They have a great baby food selection at cheaper prices than I find on amazon. Their diapers are also a deal. This Kroger Gas with your Kroger discount is a fab deal for cheap gas near downtown. This neighborhood is improving greatly. I am very sad they don’t have sushi like their fancier belle Meade neighbor but others have been a bit harsh. It feels safe & has lots of parking.

I come here when I’m desperate or just don’t want to drive over to Harding to the better Kroger. The layout is a bit odd, the produce is meh, and I just typically don’t enjoy shopping here opposed to the other location.
I agree that the gas station is really the highlight to shop here so you can use those Kroger points! In a pinch, this location gets the job done, but it definitely needs a facelift.

It’s kinda rundown (as many have said). I have come here in the past for a few reasons. Once was because they have Redbox and as you probably know, you can pickup and drop off these DVDs anywhere and a different locations so this happened to be convenient that day. Also, I have come here for their gas. It’s the cheapest in the area for at least a 3 – 4 mile radius so that’s pretty good. Lastly, I had to run in here once because I needed to use the ATM since one of the Vietnamese restaurants nearby (Kien Giang) only takes cash. Oh, and I might have actually shopped here once… Grudgingly, but mainly because it was convenient. Not to where I live but it’s next to the Nashville Humane Association and I was leaving there, running late, of course and had to get some things really quickly. And there you go, my entire history of past experiences with this particular Kroger! I’m sure you’re better off for reading this… Jk…

Perhaps the worst unit in the Nashville Division. In dire need of a remodel and renovation

The biggest reason to go to this Kroger is the Gas Station. The actual Kroger is not well maintained and its difficult to get in and out of because of all the traffic on Charlotte Pike. As with the previous reviewer, I only buy things I need quickly. The Kroger on Harding Rd is much better maintained.

This is the closest grocery store in general to my house. I really don’t like it. I actually only go here when I need something small, quick. It’s dirty and the set up is really difficult to find anything in here. Their produce isn’t as good as any of the other locations. I don’t think they have a good health food section either, it’s really dismal.
