Reasons why Haji’s is the best greek in Nashville: 1. The chicken sandwich(gyro?) is fresh and delicious. It’s in a soft open face pita, and they are generous with toppings and tzatziki — much appreciated. 2. Spicy fries are top notch. Might as well dip those in tzatziki too. 3. It’s family-run. Super sweet and friendly brothers and sister are always eager to share the latest addition to the menu and seem really pleased you’re there. 4. They have root beer and Pellegrino blood orange soda. Favs I always leave satisfied. Highly recommend.

What makes this place 4 stars is value. 7 bucks gets you a chicken and gyro plate combo full of meat salad and rice with bread and a drink. The food is good for fast food, I looked and say u just want a gyro sandwich its 3 bucks. So while the food is above average the big thing about this place is bang for your buck.

This is my favorite Greek place in East Nashville. My roommates and I are going around and trying all the Greek places in the area, and Haji’s has my favorite gyro of them all. Made to order, great cucumber sauce, perfect fries and the friendliest staff makes me want to visit everyday.

These guys are super friendly and the food was awesome! Way better than Solomons across the street. HIGHLY recommend! Their falafel is to die for.

Without a doubt best gyro place on Gallatin. The food is fresh and the guys who work there are super friendly. The baklava is pretty great too. Definitely recommend checking Haji’s out.

Best Gyro on Gallatin. Friendly service, reasonable prices and really fresh food. They make everything to order, so there’s a little wait, but it is completely worth it. The owner is friendly and you can tell he cares about his customers and making delicious food. The gyro sandwich and gyro salad are both fantastic. Can’t wait to try the pomegranate chicken plate and falafel.

Best gyro in Nashville? Probably not. I wouldn’t know because I haven’t been searching for the best gyro in Nashville. All I know is his place hooks up the big food for the little guy bucks. Always get good service, not especially the fastest, but good. Plate of food piled high. Haven’t tried any of their burgers /chicken tenders /more American style food and I don’t want to. I’ll just stick to the falafel and gyro.

When you walk in to this place the first thing you’ll notice is that everyone is greeted with a smile and friendly«hello» within seconds. The second thing you’ll notice is a sign warning you of the delay due to your food being prepared fresh, and that’s no joke. You will wait a bit longer here, but 100% worth the wait. We ordered the falafel sandwich. I haven’t actually eaten falafel in a couple of years because everywhere I went the falafel was dry, crumbly, and flavorless. Not the case here. It was just the opposite, fresh, moist, and flavorful. They owners are super nice to top it off. Definitely will be back.

I don’t often write reviews but this place is worth mentioning. In a sea of gyro spots on Gallatin, this is by far the best. It’s small & unassuming, but don’t let that fool you: the place is clean, the food is fresh & the staff is extraordinarily nice. Meals are made to order so everything is fresh(expect to wait a few minutes for your meal). But it’s fresh, delicious & plentiful at ridiculously reasonable prices. My family of four is fed really well for $ 23 — I can’t get that kind of value at a fast food joint. All that aside, what I really like best is Haji, the owner. Always smiling, he tries to make everyone feel welcome. He’ll have a conversation with you, tell you about his family & ask about yours. That’s community right there. He is accommodating, always saying«when you’re here, you’re home». Rest assured, we will return again & again!

Delicious! Don’t let the outside fool you. Everything is cooked fresh. It takes a little longer but completely worth it.

What a nice surprise, Gyro Sandwich $ 3.59 bread was toasted giving a lovely crunch, the meat was tasty and crispy in places just how I like it, added some hot sauce and tomato and red onion and I was set. Pablo had the Grilled Chicken Plate$ 6.29. Tables and Chairs inside, clean and friendly, arguably the best on the Gallatin Road. Easy Parking and Drive through window. Wish they could do a Lamb Shish and then I would be even happier.
