The food isn’t good, service blows, it’s noisy and dirty. Lots of better choices in Naples for Asian chow. Who puts sweet sauce in fried rice? Pei Wei! This stuff is awful. If they fed this stuff to North Vietnamese POWs we would have won that war. Who at Pei Wei HQ said, yeah, this is good, let’s roll it out? Awful. Been here a few times. Tables are always dirty and it’s like eating in a high school cafeteria.

This place just rubs me the wrong way. The first time I came here, I just assumed they were having an off night. But here I am again about 5 months later and it seems as though rude/agitated employees and ultra slow service is standing operating procedure. I should note, however, that we were handled by the same employee on both occasions.

In 15 years in Naples this was the worst garbage we have ever been served. It went straight down the garbage disposal. I would not even serve it to my dogs. How disappointing.

Pei Wei is delicious in general but this one is filthy and poorly managed. Employees with attitudes!

Very good hot and sour soup, good sushi but Kung Pao and spicy burnt orange sauce were mild and served lukewarm. We probably won’t return here. The doors were filthy.

Pei Wei is definitely a step up from all the semi-boring Chinese takeout places in the area. Being a spin off of PF Chang’s casual order-at-the-counter-and-pay-before-you-sit-down, it’s nice to get everything reminiscent of a chain that does a pretty decent job. I’ve been through a few changes in menu over the years, so it’s been nice to witness the evolution of this place. There have been a few hit or misses along the way with trying out new items. One improvement is their menu boards. They’re digital, bright and dynamic. The graphics are great, and really show off the freshness of ingredients they use in all of their dishes. This go ’round, they added some sushi rolls and a few different types of appetizers. They also simplified their menu. I’m all about keeping it simple stupid, and that’s what they did. They reorganized their dishes where their entrees start off at choosing the protein, then choosing the style it’s cooked in, and then adding all the stuff that makes it your dish. I also appreciate that they’ve added a small portion. We started off with spicy tuna rolls. Sadly, it wasn’t that great, but thankfully it wasn’t that expensive. The tuna was cold in the middle. However, the rice wasn’t a good consistency… maybe reminiscent to Publix sushi rice? The saving grace was the Vietnamese chicken salad rolls. They came with both a sweet chili sauce and a Thai peanut sauce. The wrapper had a good consistency and the ingredients were fresh. The peanut sauce had a really nice deep flavor to it. Great addition to the starters and a great breakaway from the fried spring rolls or egg rolls. As for the chicken pad thai, it was a little too saucy which made the noodles a little overdone. I believe that my dish and my husband’s dish came from the same batch, and were not properly distributed with their tofu and chicken and noodles. All in all, there was still plenty of everything to take home another meal. Hey, but service is great. Even though it’s not dine-in, you still get the same attention if you need some. Let’s recap — Step-up from Chinese take-out, step down from what the food used to be. But, very convenient for everyone — and we’ve got things to do, like conquer the world and write more Unilocal reviews. 15 – 2015

Always love Pei Wei. If you don’t know already, this is PF Chang’s quick restaurant. Same great taste and quality, but quick and cheap. What’s not to like.

What a disappointment! Had dinner a week ago at Pei Wei in Moorestown, NJ and it was FANTASTIC. The local Naples location isn’t even close in quality. I thought this chain would have better quality control. My last trip here — I vote with my feet !!!

On our first date, my husband ordered, according to the cashier, was the spiciest meal on the menu. He said he could handle it, but in reality he could barely eat it! It had some sort of ‘kung pao’ in the name and we should have known! The last time we ate there, we did much better and we both got the lettuce wraps, I got steak and he got chicken. They are very healthy and delicious! The sauce is a great pairing for the meat and the lettuce is always crisp and crunchy.

I wasn’t impressed. Pei Wei used to be a good place to get a moderately-priced Asian meal, and I’d leave full. However, the new menu offers fewer choices(OK, no biggie there), and the portions have gone down enough that I left hungry. Isn’t the joke about Chinese meals that you’re hungry an hour later? No, here, you’re hungry when you leave. There’s precious few places to sit — we had to cram two adults and a high chair into a table barely meant for two. The whole place is a «high-traffic» lane, which meant that our daughter kept getting bumped by folks trying to walk past(not their fault; there wasn’t much room to maneuver). To top it off, my meal(Thai-inspired chicken) had about 3 pieces of chicken, and despite the little symbol indicating spiciness, was quite bland. Really, the best part of my meal was the rice. Finally, the price; two lunch entrees, 4 spring rolls(Sysco rolls, at that!), and a kid’s meal, plus two drinks? Set us back around $ 40. Yeah, no value there. Next time, I’ll just stop at Trader Joe’s and get myself some frozen Chinese food; it’d be the same quality, I can spice it up to my liking, and it’d cost 1⁄3 as much.

I’m a Pei Wei fan. This review is about the cleanliness of the restaurant and the food. I’ve never been to a Pei Wei this dirty. The food is noticeably not consistent with other Pei Wei’s. I’d like to pretend this meal never happened.

Now they don’t have chopsticks. I guess nobody goes to an Asian restaurant expecting to use chopsticks. Update: manager sincerely apologized. He gets it: chopsticks are expected at Asian restaurants.

1st day Ordered Thai chicken wrap, pretty good but a little salty and sweet and didn’t fill me up, my husband ordered spicy peiwei and it was perfect. I recommend it!!! Second day, ordered take out. Disappointed because of the smaller portion for takeout.

I missed the memo. I didn’t realize changs owned them. Duh! No wonder I liked it so much. Food was good, fresh, and fast. Way easier to take my kids here, than the actual p.f.changs.

A cheaper and quicker version of PF Changs.

The food at Pei Wei(which is actually owned by P.F. Chang’s) is excellent and actually quite inexpensive for the quality of the food. Every dish that I have ever ordered at Pei Wei has never been less than great. The only downfall to this location is it’s young and unprofessional staff. Recently the service and cleanliness of the dining area has lacked compared to past visits to this location. Hopefully this will improve in the future, because Pei Wei is an overall enjoyable casual dining experience.

I’ve had mixed experiences here. On some occasions, food will be good and service will be fast. But on others, the food took too long and the staff was rude! I guess it’s a hit or miss depending on what group of people are working. The food here is okay, nothing special. They have a lot of the same dishes that are served at PFChang’s at a cheaper price. I’d recommend coming here if you’re in a hurry and craving Asian food, but don’t have high expectations because you may be disappointed.

We have done takeout a handful of times here. Honestly I feel it is sludgy crap, but my husband really likes it & sooo we keep trying. None of the dishes we have tried multiple times ever taste or even look the same. The Low Mien noodles are overdone & sticky, but again my husband likes them. I just feel that this food is very bad Asian, no fresh, crisp flavors, very salty, thick, gross sauces, overdone noodles, meat, blah, however my one and only enjoys mall food, and so he enjoys this stuff. Have no luck anymore with the on line ordering, they were really nice on the phone and then ignored us for almost 10 minutes while our bagged order died under the heat lamps, missed a few of our requested items etc. No thanks.

Cheap, fast food version by PFChang’s Bistro. You order, then sit and they deliver to table, inside or outdoor seating. Do NOT expect any food to taste like what is the norm. Very salty, def Americanized. Like the brown rice, tofu is the dry freezed flat ones. Like the way you can personalize your dishes, mixing and matching with sauces, but some dishes taste like packaged sauces with lots of soy sauce. Service good, food is inconsistent, prefer not to go but one of few places my husband will go Asian with me.
