I really liked this gym until I tried to cancel due to a sudden move out of the state. They will make it hard to cancel and aim to charge u as much as possible until the«process» is complete. Apparently they only check their p. o box once a month(according to the manager Angela) which is where they require cancellation requests to be sent. So as I mentioned, they take their time to process cancellations to ensure they thoroughly charge your card before they are done with you. I don’t trust them.

I don’t even know where to begin. This place is beyond awful when trying to cancel your membership. My friend had gone in to cancel, signed a paper and no big deal. I go to cancel and they tell me they don’t do cancellations there… weird but ok. They tell me to write a letter stating I want to cancel and send to an address they gave me. So that is what I did, 3 months ago and requested a letter back confirming it was cancelled. Still nothing, and on top of that they are still billing me and put me into collection’s!!! Are you kidding me! I have read review after review with the same problems from others. Wish I did more extensive research prior to joining. Near impossible to cancel and the staff is rude and not helpful. Save your time and aggravation and money… go somewhere else!

I had heard this was a Good gym so I decided to obtain a 3 pass. Coming from LA fitness I needed a change. Day 1. No greeting. Took pass. No tour. Nothing. But wanted to go back to try again Day 2. Your pass expired which it did not. Extremely rude guy at the front desk and some manager standing right there saying nothing. Told me I could not come in so I said I was a potential customer and so I will just go to LA fitness. He said have a good day!!! Really? Screw this place and I will make sure I slam them in every social site possible. Do not go there!

Extremely shady place! Do not join! I joined on a monthly membership and went in before moving to tell them I was quitting. The system was down and they took my name down(should have been my first sign). Checked back later and found out they were still charging me. I called them and was told I had to mail in a letter(who mails in a letter?). I was told you always need a letter to quit, even when you go in and tell them like I did. Obviously this place is a scam. No offer to refund all the months they had been charging me. It’s a terrible gym in the first place and makes LA Fitness look like quality. The only thing good about it is it’s never full(I can see why now). Don’t take the chance.

LOVE this facility and the staff! I workout with a trainer named Jay, he’s awesome, he tries to kill me every single time(hahaha) and he’s become a good friend. Clean, new equipment and nice people. The Combat classes are killer but worth it. Lots of other classes too. Lots of lockers, hair dryers, dressing rooms and extra outlets. Child care is available.

i moved from the area and came in and signed a paper to quit my membership, turned my card in early and this club attempted to charge me for three following months and then sent the notice to the credit agency. i am now in touch with a lawyer that is working on a class action law suit. please be aware of the companies scam… they do not care about contracts. if you want your credit impacted by this horrible company then go ahead and join.

I’ve been a member of this gym for over a year now. Super clean, nice staff, always equipment available. Haven’t been to classes so I can’t comment on that. I’ve had zero billing issues. My recommendation is to read your contract so there are no surprises:) If you don’t like it don’t sign it or ask questions. The billing practices and contracts here are no different and frankly, better, than the larger chain gyms, that’s why I joined. Happy member, no complaints. I have a family package for a touch less than $ 80 a month– pretty good deal!

I’ve been a member for over a year now, and I like that the gym is very clean and you can always see someone sweeping or doing some other type of cleaning up around the place. I love the fans upstairs in the cardio area, since heat rises it can get very hot upstairs so having all those fans is great for someone like me who likes to feel air circulating at all times. I’ve only taken one or two classes during my membership here — I wasn’t overly impressed with the teachers to go back for another time. I’ve definitely been to other gyms with more to offer and whatnot, but this is a good gym for the basics in a nice clean environment.

What a terrible business. When u join they are all smiles but when u cancel all this unexpected thins come up to squeeze all the money they can out of u and make it more and more difficult to cancel. Then almost 6 months after cancelation I get a bill and a harassment call from a collection agency for this«unpaid««cancelation fee» when they gym itself never ever send me a bill or anything. So now I have to check my credit to see if they placed an unpaid account and go through the hassle of disputing it. Do urself a favor and never ever join that gym!

Management is horrible. I could write a book about my experience with this place but I will save you the effort reading it. I have never been so angry with any company, and it had to do with a monthly payment I accidentally missed because I lost my wallet that contained my debit card. I tried several times to reach them to resolve the matter, left messages with several employees, and no one would ever call me back. They sent me to collections before I could make my payment which infuriated me, because I have perfect credit. I finally made my last call, and they told me for the tenth time that the manager was not available so I had to vent my frustrations to a desk clerk. I told her that I am cancelling my membership and will make sure that everyone knows how they treat their customers. I asked her to please tell her manager everything I said, and I would still like a follow up call. I never received a call back. Worst customer service I have ever experienced. I had been a member of Lifestyles(previous owner) for several years without any problems. I will never be a member of this gym again and would highly recommend anyone looking for a gym in Naples to stay away! They also added extra charges to my bill before sending it to collections. Read the views on here and on google and you will see the same things being said about the management. They will scam you out of anything they can.

My husband and I were members of Naples Family Fitness for about six months this past year. Our overall experience working out at the gym was very positive. The staff is friendly and knowledgable and there is plenty of equipment to go around. Their hours and class selection were also impressive. But our experience with payments have left us questioning the ethics of their business practices. Upon signing up we had the impression that membership prices were very flexible. We were given different prices over the phone versus in person. We sat at a desk and chatted with an employee, and the more we questioned the more the«fees» were subtracted from our pricing. It was a bit annoying, but we arrived at a price that we found satisfactory and began our memberships. Putting our memberships on hold for summer travel was simple enough, but NFF began to charge our card before our return date without our authorization. A couple months later I found another workout more to my liking. I decided to call the gym and cancel my membership over the phone. According to the person I spoke to, canceling via phone is not possible, nor is it in person.(If I can sign up in person I think I should be able to cancel in person.) I was given an address in Texas and instructed to write a letter indicating my desire to terminate my membership and to include my gym card. I was also told I’d receive confirmation of my cancellation, and three weeks later I have yet to receive any. At this point both my husband and I were so thoroughly annoyed that he also cancelled his membership. Our Amex has since been charged twice, leaving us to dispute the charges. My brother works for a bank, and from what he says this is very common among gyms. Beware, it’s a headache!
