My cousin goes here frequently so i went to try it out with her for a gel polish change and pedicure. my cousin wanted a third coat to her pedicure and the lady said yea start your nails then come back. half way through the nail lady gets down to put the top coat. we try to tell her and she gets annoyed thinking we’re saying a third coat on her nails. she complained to another tech and she understood but at that point she was done her toes. then i was trying to tell her she wasn’t getting to the side of my nails with the polish and she complained again. the owner came(who my cousin swears is a nice guy — may have been havign a bad day) and they complained to him and he told me it’s bc i have a cuticle there? i think i could see it if it was. the manicure did last a while but the irritating experience wouldn’t make me want to go back here. plus the lady forgot to use the cotton at the end to shine our nails. the owner did it for us but still. and my toe nails arent shaped properly either. eh, i take it back. i wouldn’t go back.

I went with my mom who got a regular manicure, two weeks later it still looks perfect! Job well done to her specialist. Mine on the other hand… Not impressed. In fact, I’m disappointed. I spent $ 45 on acrylics that fell off three days afterwards. I told my specialist I didn’t want gel multiple times but she continued to pic it out. I went along with it because having the polish on for a long time would be nice. But after my fake nail was applied, acrylic was never put on. I have never gotten gel done before so maybe that’s how it’s done but I find that highly surprising. I found myself doing everyday tasks the week after and 4⁄10 of my nails cracked. Three of the nails are completely off. Although the complimentary massage was relaxing, I am ever going back!

Came In to get my eyebrows done. She said yeah to evetything because she couldnt understand me. She did not do what I asked. My one eyebrows is thicker tgan the other, I asked her to fix it, she didnt understand me. I told her to take off more, she gets wax on the cue tip and answers her cells phone! She actually came at my face with hot wax, talking on her cellphone! Told her how unhappy I was, and still was charged full price! She said, «looks good» as I walked out the door! Will never come back!

I have been to Julie’s three times now. The first and second for a pedicure and the third for both a manicure and pedicure. The price is very competitive with other walk in salons of this type. The man that greets you at the counter is efficient and friendly. The staff doesn’t talk to you during the service instead talking among themselves(not in English) as they’re trying to quickly get you out the door but friendly if asked a question. The service is what I would call«what you get for the price», they are just looking to move you on and get to the next client is how I felt each time. I really don’t value the leg massage of the pedicure so I’m happy if they don’t do it but holy cow is it particularly bad here… quick and they hit your legs. When done my toes were okay, not great, paint wasn’t perfect and nails were filed crooked. The manicure was the worst I’ve ever had, all my nails were filed on a slant… really bad, I asked to have them fixed but she didn’t seem to understand I wanted them uniform not filed to an angle… not sure. The polish job was so bad I had to redo it when I got home. I am not going back and feel I tried 3 different people so the salon just isn’t worth the time or effort for me

Stressful work day… spotted Julie’s in the Village Tavern strip mall on my lunch hour and went in hoping for a mid-day pick-me-up. Nice, clean, radio, walk-ins welcome. Standard mani, tons of color choices, took about a half hour. $ 13. I will return!

My Mom is completely loyal to this place. They do nails really well. A hot rock massage is included in the price, which is not that high to begin with. I try to fit in some time to get my nails done whenever I visit my Mom.
