I have eaten at the original in San Antonio when it was in a converted house /garage in the bario. It is sad to see this chain slip down so far. I would not recommend this location to anyone. Service is poor and they never keep their salsa bar stocked.

Get it together, Mo City Taco Cabana! I am going to be so mad if I drive by one day and see that it is closed. I love TC, but I just can’t go to this location any more. The place is filthy, the service is terrible, and they rarely get your order right. There needs to be a change in management. If you are craving TC, go a few miles down the road to the one in Sugar Land. It is a completely different experience.

Maybe there has been better days at taco cabana. Today was slow, over flowing trash cans and it looked like it’s been days since the place has been swept. Low score because staff didn’t seem to give a shit about doing anything but chat in the back.

I normally like Taco Cabana, but not today. Got the street tacos. They were way too salty, the guacamole seemed old. Now I see why this one has poor ratings. What a waste of 10 bucks…

This is a nasty place it’s gone down since the place has gotten new employees they don’t know how to cook seen them scratching their head while in the kitchen trash everywhere Mosquitoes flying around my nachos had hair and my guacamole too threw up once I saw it not to be racist but if you wanna serve«Mexican» food maybe hire some Hispanics don’t you think? Place is a mess the soda machine have mold where the soda comes out pay attention to it and you will see the black crap. Wish I could rate it –5 stars but I can’t!!! Never going back

On food alone this location would get a solid 3 stars. It’s taco cabana. They’re not doing anything earth shattering, but it is good, and no better or worse than any of the other bazilion locations. But, the service. Wait, what service? I walk in this morning and no one is at the counter. Typical for this location, but a cook looks up and sees me standing there. She’s not wearing a headset so the counter isn’t her job, cool. But, does she look over and say«hey, there’s a customer at the counter?» No. Way to step up. Ok, well headset girl is right there, stirring the rice or beans, or something. She’ll come over here, right? Nope. Well, maybe she’s working drive through. I need to move closer to the action. Obviously, they’re not expecting customers at the register. Ok, here comes headset guy, out of some back room. He’s headed this way. Nope, he’s drive through headset guy. WTF is headset girl’s job? Maybe she’s in training, to see if the headset fits. Ok, I’ve been standing in an empty fast food restaurant for more than 5 minutes and no one has even looked toward the front half of the store. How does this place make money? No wonder I’m the only one here. Ok, headset guy is done at the drive through, he’s headed this way. Nope, going into the office to sit at the computer? WTF. He’s up, headed back to drive through. Ok, now he see’s me. You’ll take my order at the drive through window. What are those registers up front for? I just got«Missouri City’ed.» The service in this town– almost without exception– SUCKS!!! Don’t ever try to get something to eat(or try to buy something, or get a service done) in this crap hole town and expect anything approaching drive, hustle, or pride. The average resident just doesn’t have it. The food is what you expect from taco cabana– good, but not exceptional. The service SUCKS!!! Where does Chic-Fil-A get their staff? They ROCK!!!

They ALWAYS mess up my order… I ordered chicken soft tacos today. I tell the girl«I want the chicken soft tacos with just chicken and cheese on them please»…yet they gave me the tacos with everything BUT chicken and cheese! YUP you read that right! I got 2 tortillas with lettuce, pico and tomatoes on them… wtf?! When I went back the drive through line was 8 deep so I starved until I got off work to go get more food… from somewhere else of course. The people there are SO dumb and rude… I also asked for extra salsa(which they charged me for!) and I SWEAR she gave me 3 pico on purpose… so what a waste of $ 10! Way to go Taco Cabana!

Second graders would run circles around the high school drop outs that run this place. Asked for salsa. No salsa. Asked for cilantro. No cilantro. Asked for one type of bean. Get a different kind of bean. On both platters. Ordered food. Food was given to another patron. After you order, the person at the register gives you the little stick thing with a number corresponding to your order. The chola that packed up the food saw another customer waiting for her food and gave MY order to her. Well thank goodness the customer asked, «Is this the such and such blah bloop bloop?» The chola answered, «No it’s this bleep blah blah. It’s order #69, but it looks like the stick number thing you’re holding says #18, right?» Yes, you idiotic bint. Not only can you not read numbers, you also cannot handle the simple task of just saying out loud, «Order #69!» To which I would approach you, the correct customer with the #69 stick thingy, to pick up the food I paid for. And if she can’t read numbers, she obviously can’t read words with more than 4 letters because my order was wrong. To be fair, there were 3 customers in the entire restaurant, so her brain must have wanted to explode from the pressure.

First time to the location. Dropped by for the happy hour specials. By far the cleanest taco cabana I’ve been too. The entire staff was very friendly and checked on us several times. The salsa bar was neat and fully stocked.

I usually go thru the drive thru like around 10 pm. And get beef or steak burrito, and some salsa. When I get home the salsa always seeps thru the Brown paper bag. They just throw the salsa with the food. I still eat it. But every time I go home the paper bag always ripe based from the salsa liquid and food falls. Come on people get it together.

It has been a while since I came here for happy hour. Today was one of those days I was out shopping and wanted a quick drink! $ 1.50 margaritas and $ 1.50 off a nacho. I had a super nacho with chicken and fajita beef it was $ 5 Only because I added the fajita. I was good and full and the margaritas we’re great and COLD! This location was nice and clean.

Have yet to go there and they get my order right. Drive through is either missing part of order or they get it totally wrong. Dine in not much better. Stopped going here. Employees are slow and don’t seem to care.

This place is HORRIBLE. Cold food, bad service, and ignorant unprofessional ppl working the drive thru window. They are always out of food! The workers are SOOOOSLOW. I had to wait 15 mins just to get out of line bc there were 4 cars ahead and an idiot behind me who wouldn’t let me out. Wont EVER be back to this location.

I was expecting much better. After enjoying their breakfast tacos, we thought we would give it a try for lunch. I decided to do take out and went for two of the street tacos three packs(based on a recommendation from a friend), and a quesadilla w/chips &queso kids meals with choco milk. Big mistake. When I opened up the box, the tacos were caked with oil. Nothing worse than oily and soggy tacos, and they were pretty sad looking. They really didn’t have much in them, just a little cilantro and meat). Guess they forgot to give us salsa too. The quesadillas were too doughy, and tasteless. Taco cabana, sorry but you have earned my first one star review.:(hope things improve next time we are there.

This is the worst experience I’ve ever had. All of the tables were dirty so I had to clean my own, the margarita machine was not on for happy hour were they advertise a 34 oz. for $ 4.50 but were told that’s not true instead of 34oz you get 22oz. Manager offered to show us an email from corporate office, honestly I don’t need all that just take the sign down, 30 minutes went by and my friend had chicken salad with no chicken and my food never came, when I asked for my order there was no record of it so after 30 minutes they started to work on my food. I just asked for refund and after 10 minutes waiting on the girl at the register that had no idea what she was doing, I spent 40 minutes at this location and I didn’t even get to eat. Fast food is fast food!!! This location is mediocre. Don’t come here.

Horrible service… Staff is lacking of training and the cashier was taking too Long taking my orders very unprofessional… Is hard to messed up an order of nachos. But they accomplish that, I figure the happy hour margaritas would make this place a little better… They were so bad I think the lemonade in the fountain drink machine had more alcohol… Will never again come back to this location

Low ratings for a reason! Wished I checked before coming!!! Never coming again. DIRTYANDSLOW! Some of the more incompetent people on houston work here. It was painful to watch the guy make my burrito. Took FOOOOREVER. Like lettuce would take a minute to put on… then rice… don’t know what the guy was on, but pissed me off watching him. When he finally finished. He just left it there and didn’t even bother to call my number. He seemed barely alive. When I asked if my order was done(obviously it was since I watched him finish) I got a blank stare. No response. Like he hated his work. Ugh! Dirty restaurant. Nearly every table and chair had dirty plates, trays, salsa, etc. like they haven’t bussed a single table all day.(I went at night.) hardly anyone in the kitchen wore a hat/hairnet… Yuck. It WASNOT busy, and they had at the VERYMINIMUM6 people working. Ridiculous. Only one girl was trying. Chipotle is a block away. I’m never making this mistake again!!!
