Very nice staff — kind, helpful with painting figures and how to play games.

Friendly staff and well organized store. Everything stocked. It really frustrates me to go into a store and their paint selection is 10%-15% empty. Every slot was full here.

I had a negative purchasing experience here. I was overcharged at the register compared to the display tag and the manager refused to honor the price and had a poor attitude about it. The manager even went as far as removing the lower price tag from the item, AFTER I had already purchased it. I had to call GW customer service on my own accord(no offered help from the manager) to resolve the situation and have them speak to the manager to instruct him on refunding me. No apologies or welcoming words from the manager upon my return later for the refund; an entirely wordless transaction save his goodbye, something that solidified my patronage to another local game store for the hobby. To cite California Business and Professions Code Section 12024.2: (a) It is unlawful for any person, at the time of sale of a commodity, to do any of the following: (1) Charge an amount greater than the price, or to compute an amount greater than a true extension of a price per unit, that is then advertised, posted, marked, displayed, or quoted for that commodity. (2) Charge an amount greater than the lowest price posted on the commodity itself or on a shelf tag that corresponds to the commodity, notwithstanding any limitation of the time period for which the posted price is in effect. Retail managers in California should know this. Pretty basic stuff.

Great place to explore a really fun hobby. For anyone that is curious about the game, miniatures, painting, building, etc. in the fantasy world of Warhammer and Warhammer 40k, look no further. The store manager, Chris, is easy to talk to and makes the atmosphere of the store fun. Can’t wait to stop in again.

My buddy and I are new to table top gaming and I was very apprehensive on what to expect. Here are a few reasons why this shop should be your go to spot for your table top gaming needs. 1. The manager, Chris, cares. Plain and simple. The moment you walk in, Chris greets you and you get the immediate impression that he wants you to find your own hobby«identity». I asked numerous questions and he took the time to explain each answer thoroughly. 2. The store is an awesome display of how table top gaming can flourish. The models in the store are expertly painted and placed so newcomers can examine the detail of each miniature. Chris has gaming tables that are open to play with. There were several people in the store hanging out and each one of them were very inviting and welcoming. The organization and overall showmanship of the models makes you want to spend money. Impressive. Overall: I am hooked. I haven’t purchased anything yet. Payday isn’t till next week. However, when my visit was almost over, Chris gave me a schedule of the painting and beginner workshops throughout the week. I’m looking forward to my new hobby. I’m a big kid at heart and I hope to involve my kids in this activity when they get older. Chris is very knowledgable and I can’t wait to get started!

Awesome shop! Chris, the manager, is great, enthusiastic and knowledgable without being«Used Car Salesman» pushy like the guy at the Westminster store was when I went there. This tiny shop gets packed on a weekend night, people painting and gaming and having a blast. I’ve yet to join them for a game, but hopefully I will get to this month. Oh yeah, in store pickup for online orders saves you shipping, which was great when I just needed $ 15 worth of blitz
