I went here for the first time for dinner tonight and was surprisingly blown away by the wine, food, and service. I went with my grandmother, who has Alzheimer’s and is difficult to understand and Christy, our waitress, was very patient and kind. The table was bussed promptly and Christy was at the table every time we needed her. We had a bottle of La Crema Pinot Noir which is already one of my favorites, reasonably priced for a Restauraunt. The bread they served to start was so delicious and then we started with a mixed green salad each. Not the best quality greens, but better than other steakhouses. Also I didn’t like how cheese automatically comes on the salad. I got the bourbon salmon which was cooked perfectly. My grandmother got the Napa chicken which she thought was delicious– and she is very picky. Overall a great casual place to stop in– better than most steak houses, even if your not in the mood for steak!

What was I doing at the Longhorn Steakhouse since I don’t eat meat? The salmon! I had it once while dining with a carnivore(no judgment!) and was amazed how good it was. So I had a hankering(really?), made a beeline, and it was delish as always. You can choose from 2 sizes; I had the smaller portion and it was plenty. The BEST news was the addition of a Mule Drink Menu! I had the Montana Mule made with Bourbon and GINGER purée and I’m hooked! I’ve always liked bourbon and ginger ale but this was from a different universe! My new favorite drink — I think I’m gonna be eating a lot more salmon!

I have been to this location numerous times and had fairly decent encounters. My past experience is the basis of this review. This location is located in an outdoor mall. My daughters wanted to do some shopping and have lunch(1pm) we entered the restaurant and were seated, but they gave us dinner menus, although one of my daughters wanted the dinner steak the remaining 3 of us just wanted lunch. we asked for the lunch menus and we received them. After placing the order the waitress informed us that«I put in the lunch orders but going forward we will not be offering lunch» basically she let us know she did us(the customers a huge favor) in hindsight I should have left then, but because my daughter was looking forward to a steak I stayed. The waitress continued to be more on the ruder side than the pleasant. When it was time to pay($ 65+ lunch, tell me a restaurant in a mall that wouldn’t want tab) I paid with a $ 100 because one of my daughters needed some cash. I received back all ones, just to top it off. I completed the comment section on Longhorns website and received the standard canned reply that a junior in high school could have written. To me it ends like this, how can a chain restaurant in a mall eliminate lunch on Sundays? lets face it they are forcing people to pay more after they are already seated and have to choose whether to leave or stay for the attitude and bad service. As I wrote to Longhorn they will no longer see me at any of their locations.

I love this place. The food is amazing. My favorites things to get are the chicken tenders with fries or the filet mignon called«Flo’s Filet» with a side of mashed potatoes and fries. I always get the steak cooked medium and it always comes out perfect and it some of the best steak I ever had. The mashed potatoes are incredible as well. The chicken tenders are probably the best chicken tenders you can get anywhere, they’re freshly cooked chicken made to order and not cheap frozen chicken strips like in most places. They are finger licking good and will make your mouth water. Highly recommended, one of my all time favorite places to eat. Only problem is they don’t take reservations and on Friday or Saturday night you might end up waiting 2 hours to get seated if you go around dinner time. Two thumbs way up.

Late lunch(2 p.m.). Texas Tonion appetizer was hot, crispy and perfectly salted, but the miniscule amount of dipping sauce served alongside was not nearly enough for the amount of onion petals; we’ll ask for extra next time. My companion’s Moscow Mule was good and strong. My peach iced tea, again, was served tepid with not quite enough quickly-melting ice chips. We both had the steak tips: one with fries, the other with a loaded baked potato. The tender tips were nicely marinated and cooked to a perfect medium-rare; the sides were hot and acceptable. We packed up almost half of our entrees to take home, too full for dessert(too bad because the Mixed Berry Lava Cake looked really tempting). Service was better this time around and we didn’t wait long for anything. Next time, maybe we’ll just order just appetizers so we’ll have room for dessert.

I had never been to a Longhorn before so I didn’t have much expectation. The wait time was about 20 minutes, not sure if that is the norm since it’s near a mall or because the kids had off school. From the time we were seated the service was excellent and the food was excellent. I am now a fan and would visit this or other Longhorns in the future!

Love the steak here, and especially the unlimited bread and butter!!! Such a nice place to eat after shopping at Black Stone. I got the steak for two people and it was huge! Will come back for more!!!(:

Would have rated higher if I had gotten a chance to eat. Unfortunately the staff was more preoccupied with doing their sidework to change shifts than waiting on our table or even acknowledging us for 15 minutes.

This is 100% my personal #1 favorite restaurant and particular location for it. Best bang for the buck. My wife always comments that the drinks are stronger here too. Never have service issues or steaks overcooked at this one and we frequent it a lot. Food is way better than Texas Roadhouse or Outback. Go here if you haven’t been yet.

I normally get take out and I usually get the same thing when I go & normally it’s very good & ready when promised. The bar staff(they handle the take out orders) are very friendly. The only thing that consistently annoys me is the lack of take out parking spots. I have an infant & driving around for a half hour to find a parking spot or parking far away and carrying an infant(in car seat) & the take out order in the cold is not fun.

Disclaimer: I don’t typically order steak at restaurants and this is no exception I get the Parmesan crusted chicken and it is frankly amazing, of the chain steakhouses this is the best!

I ordered a ribeye with a garlic crust and roasted cherry tomatoes. Yum! It was my first time there, but one of my friends with me told me that they usually overcook the steaks. The waitress(she was excellent, Andrea) suggested that we order it just a bit above rare, which worked and we got a perfect mid rare. It’s frustrating that a steak house can’t get the temp of steak perfect every time.

Great value for a well cooked steak. Kids love it here as well. Nice selection of wine by the glass or bottle. Highly recommend this restaurant.

I’ve always heard great reviews for Longhorn Steakhouse so I decided to check it out after getting bored of the usual joints I go to for steak. The interior is quite nice; a bit dim and decorated with a westernized theme. We were promptly seated(we came right as the restaurant opened at 11 am for lunch as opposed to later in the day for dinner when it gets extremely busy) then greeted by an extraordinarily enthusiastic waitress. It’s unusual seeing a waitress genuinely happy to do their job; she helped make the dining experience pleasant. We both ordered ribeyes with fries. I have to say, I was very impressed with the way both the steak and the fries came out. I asked for my ribeye rare and that’s how they cooked it – rare. The fries were fresh, crispy and perfectly salted. These days it’s hard to believe that a steakhouse can be capable of delivering a steak cooked correctly, but Longhorn sure does live up to its name. This restaurant left an excellent first impression. I came back about two times after that taking different people with me to show them how wonderful the staff and food were. They were also impressed! I would definitely recommend this particular Longhorn Steakhouse.

4 stars for food – three stars for service, bringing us down to 3 stars – A OK, but nothing to really write home about. Our server was nice enough, took a lot of time(like more than five minutes) to great us, and got our drink order wrong. Forgot our bread plates, which we didn’t even get until our app came… and then didn’t know the menu when we asked for a specific item. We had to point it out on the menu. Not sure if she was new, or just didn’t care… but I’m thinking more of ‘didn’t care’ based off of her demeanor. At that point, we were fine, as we were enjoying our meal(food is good) but whenever she would come to check on us or bring something to us, she ALWAYS had a dirty dish with her! Pet peeve! I understand if you’re slammed and need to multitask, but I really don’t want other people’s food near my food after they ate it, etc. Maybe she was just having an off day. Onto the more enjoyable part of the day – the food! Tonion is a tonion, it’s fried onions and that’s delicious. The grilled asparagus(which is an upcharge) was grilled on a fairly dirty party of the grill, as my spears of normal deliciousness were pretty darkened, and really hard. Not worth the upcharge again. Steaks are also run of the mill, nothing to write home about, but way less stringy than Outback’s. What made the food be four stars are the corn fritters. I love corn fritters. These were delicious, not too battery, not too full of corn. Perfect. I’ll probably end up coming to Longhorn again, but this isn’t my go to steak house. Wish the service was a little more than low average, but hey, steak is steak.

While we did have to wait slightly disproportionate time, it was a busy night. However I do not understand why they have a two tier waiting system. First you wait at the usual outside/reception/greater vestibule. Most places then seat you directly. Not Longhorn! You are called to then wait by the«Seater’s» desk before they take you back to your table. For five more minutes we waited at this second station; infuriating! The table service was very good, but food lackluster. Steak, even at med rare, was tough and chewy. I’ll save my money next time and go to a better place.
