On our way back to Brooklyn from Bar Harbor we stopped at the la Quinta to crash for the night, next door and We almost didn’t go here for dinner based on all the bad Unilocal reviews but our concierge said she ate there several times and it was good. Glad we listened to her and NOT all the Negative miserable Unilocal reviewers on here, music level was fine and enjoyable, all the food was great, I even got 3 times the amount of ahi tuna the Outback by my house serves me and it was very fresh. Our server & bartender were very friendly & attentive, So all in all it was a great dining experience!

The Outback in Auburn is the worst! My husband and I got there today, June 11th, before 3. First indication we should have turned around and walked out is the music is blasting. Music in restaurants should be background, not front and center and so loud that if there was a dance floor, you could get up and dance! Was told by waitperson they cannot turn down, per management, and she also stated that in a few hours it would be turned up even louder! I guess no one will be able to carry on a conversation! I ordered a salad and my husband ordered a burger, plus two waters. She did bring the complimentary bread, which seemed stale. Waited and waited and no food. Saw our waitperson standing at a table with other employees, who were on their break, and socializing(she was not on break)! She was standing speaking with them for more than 5 minutes. Seriously! Get your butt in the kitchen and see where the food is. I went to restroom, came out, still no food, my husband stood up and said Let’s go! He told person at hostess station we were leaving and no, he did not want to speak to the manager! I bet if the food ever came out, the burger was cold. I am writing to Corporate about this Outback! Over 20 minutes and no salad or burger. The waitperson needs to know she should be checking on the customer and their order and not socializing with her co-workers. And, why was the food taking so long?! This is not a fine dining restaurant! Not Acceptable!

I come in here from time-to-time on my lunch break. Sometimes I’m out in under thirty minutes and sometimes it takes a great deal longer, and the length of my visit doesn’t seem to be dependent on what I order. I like the lunch chicken tacos. I love that they offer sweet potatoes for a side, I just have to remember to ask for the butter on the side. Otherwise they come out smothered in butter. I’m a big fan of the unlimited soup and salad. Their chowder is creamy and peppery, and the house salad is pretty hearty. Sometimes, however, it takes a long time to get refills. The free bread is the best. The service is always friendly and the food is usually pretty good, but the kitchen can be inconsistent in both length of preparation time and quality.

Careful when you order the salmon here. My wife ordered it with a sweet potato and when it arrived the salmon looked like bait and the sweet potato was the smallest I’ve ever seen. And they charged us $ 16.99. They should be embarrassed, but I doubt they are. This one is crossed off our list. And their app? It crashes in the middle of transactions and the receipts are 3 pages long. Big waste of paper and ink.

Stopped in to Outback for lunch today. I decided to give it a second try after a recent past bad experience. We ordered the Bloomin Onion as an appetizer. It was slow coming and was okay. I ordered the steak quesadilla and it was greasy and limp and the little bits of steak sprinkled in side were terribly over cooked. Too much cheese, if that’s possible. My lunch date ordered the steak tacos. The steak was so over cooked that we thought it was bacon! It seemed like the cook did not care at all and the waitress was soooo overly nice it was like she was subliminally apologizing for the food. Service was very slow! Not worth the money at all!

Love it here — well used to. Last two visits were extremely disappointing. Servings are getting smaller, asked for well done — nope, my meal was still alive when served. My salad was old and drenched in dressing. The fries? Well those were WELL done. Guess we’ll start going to mom and pops resturants, these big chains just are not doing it anymore.

Ordered 10 oz ribeye they killed this poor steak. Ordered it medium. Came back well done. Not one to send stuff back. Very disappointed. Drinks where good.

It’s nice since it was just a short walk from the La Quinta. Good service, decent food, okay prices. The specialty cocktails seemed a little watery, and you had to fight the pitcher to not dump ice everywhere because it didn’t have lid, so stick to the beers or mixed drinks with minimum ingredients. One thing I’ve always wondered is, why does Outback Steakhouse never smell like a steakhouse? Every steakhouse I’ve been to always stinks of meat, usually from the outside even, but not Outback. Just weird. Anyway, this is a decent place.

We had a fantastic lunch at outback. Food was cooked to perfection! The steakhouse mac n cheese as a side was amazing! You get ALOT of food for your money!

Went with my sister, ordered some drinks and an awesome blossom which was good and then I ordered the prime rib and she got a ribeye(ordered both medium). My prime rib was literally 80% fat and undercooked and hers was undercooked and fatty as well. They offered to cook another order but we said no, all we paid for was the drinks which was good.

Ordered 2 drinks and charged for 3 Were not offered bread. I asked for the 12oz prime rib with lobster tail, for $ 24.99. Waitress asked if I wanted the 8oz. Slightly confused I said yes assuming they had a smaller portion for less. This was not explained. Waitress did not ask how the food was or check in with us after bringing our plates. When the bill arrived we were perplexed to be charged for the extra non-existent drink and for $ 24.99. The waitress tried to explain that if I had gotten the 8oz prime rib and lobster tail it would have been more. Our waitress inexplicably tried to give us $ 2 back in cash to cover the soda(which was 2.89 before tax). If they were going to charge $ 24.99 why wouldn’t I just get the 12oz??? The dickish manager took it off the receipt but no apology, saying it was miscommunication on both sides. No stars should be an option.

Wanted to grab lunch with Mom while in the area… Big mistake! As we walked in, there were only 4 – 6 tables booked, and the place was FREEZING cold! We were seated and ordered promptly… I ordered the 12oz ribeye medium, mom the 6oz filet medium-rare. Took at least 15 mins for bread and salad to come and 45 – 55 min for the steaks. When the steaks arrived, they were overcooked, grey, and very unappetizing«See attached». After calling the manager over, who was nice and attentive, he had offered to give it a second shot. Unfortunately at this point, the place had gotten full and the wait would have been a while, and we were turned off, as well as freezing. Then he offered to make some food to go, and again, we really didnt want to be there any longer. At last, he offered a gift card to come back and try for dinner, I said ok, and he came back with a $ 20 gift card… –_– How am I supposed to come back for dinner with that? Fail manager, Fool me once, shame on you, fool me twice… Needless to say, I would not recommend a steakhouse, that cannot cook a steak properly… STAYAWAY!

One star based on Unilocal rating system. Save yourself the frustration. I don’t think that they know what customer service is. It appears that the staff would rather socialize and hang out than work. The place was not busy at 8 at night yet we couldn’t sit in the bar area due to dirty, un-bussed tables. Sat in the dining area where we were surrounded by more dirty tables. Waitress took several minutes to take our drink order(2 tap beers) and then came back 5 minutes later stating that the bar was slammed with drink tickets and it would be a few minutes till we received our beers. We canceled one beer and switched to an ice tea thinking it would be faster. It wasn’t. Waitress bussed tables before serving us. Finally received my beer before an iced tea. Mentioned the service to several employees who seemed to care less. Walked out after settling up. Don’t waste your time!

Every outback steak house is the same. All outback steak houses have good steak but nothing special. I always get the victoria’s fillet, it’s a round steak that has a nice flavor and melts in your mouth. My favorote side would have to be the sweet baked potato with honey butter and brown sugar. With the sweet potato all of the flavors go very well with each other and everytime I get one I’m never disappointed. The staff are very friendly too. Even though they say«always fresh in the outback» on the commercials everything is probobly taster and fresher when you grill a steak in the(out) back of your yard.

I will never go back to this Outback!!! To start off we waited over 20 minutes to get seated because no one was in the front greeting so now that we are seated it takes 15 minutes for our rude server to come and take our order for drinks. And last but not least the food wasn’t even hot. My steak was warm like it had been sitting for awhile and it wasn’t cooked half way close to what I wanted. I wouldn’t waste my money or time at this location

After we were seated we waited 15 minutes for a waiter to come and five more for a drink. We had to send the appetizer back because it was cold. My silverware was dirty. The bathroom was dirty and the paper towels were sitting on the counter next to the sink so they were wet. Food service was very very slow. My sides were not brought out with my entrée. We were there for two hours and with that we had gone somewhere else!

This is based partly on several visits but mostly on visit tonight. Ordered 14 oz ribeye. Came out overdone, tough, and no eye portion. Wait staff was taking it back. As I got up for a moment, another server said something about«that ribeye as&&olé.» I asked her if she thought I was for expecting decent food. Not good. Bathroom was slippery and covered in urine. Owner threatened to call police if I didn’t leave because I was«upsetting children» despite my telling him how rudely I was treated, his place was unclean, and food not up to par. This place just relocated and after multiple attempts at giving them the benefit of the doubt, no more. They deserve to fail.
