Receptionist here I just spoke to… Complete moron. I asked her how much it would range to fix a front chipped tooth #8 in particular. I know it ranges depending on the surface area and the material dr may use and fix. but they should be able to give a rough estimate. I specifically told her I would be a new patient from the beginning. Her answer was I don’t know. Then after putting me on hold she said about 100 cheapest depending on what material you use. UHMMMMM you can only use so much material. I obviously don’t want a silver or gold filling on my front tooth. You would have to use resin if anything! I mean dental work really depends on what the dr decides to do… But she was just incompetent. So after I asked her for new patient that’s all that would cost? And she said I would have to get a cleaning mandatory.!” So I asked her what if it hasn’t been 6 months since the last cleaning? She goes«why don’t you go to your dentist then» so I told her. Because they’re closed… Then she goes«well we don’t have a opening today anyways» so I was like… So you guys don’t take any emergency patients ?! LOLOLOL really doesn’t make sense for me to go to a doctor for emergency care when the receptionist tells you, you can’t see the doctor without a cleaning. It just sounded like she wanted me to go see my own dentist. So me just being frustrated with her patient care. Asked her what if I wanted to change my dentist? She goes, you would have to get a cleaning. LOL I guess to go see dr segawa, or change to him, you have to wait 6 months and go when you need a cleaning. Even if you have a cavity or a shaking tooth.

Disclaimer: he’s my classmate from way back so I’m a little prejudiced. They’re always nice here and even came in oce after hours to take care of an emergency that I had. It may be hard to get an appointment but if one is popular, I guess one can expect that.

This is actually my bf’s dentist, and he’s been going here forever. I remember about a year ago it was such a hassle to try and make an appointment. They were either always on vacation or just closed. I went in recently to ask them some questions and they weren’t as friendly as I would expect such a small office to be. They were helpful though when I asked them about insurance but didn’t seem too enthusiastic when I told them I wanted to make an appointment. So I told them I would call to schedule since I didn’t know when I could make it yet. And I actually ended up going somewhere else… something just wasn’t inviting about that place. But my bf still goes there and we just went in today to see if we could make an appointment for him(we just go in since it’s so close). And guess what, they were closed again, but thankfully they were coming back in a few hours. I guess they were on lunch since we got there around noon but the door said they would return at 2:30p…over a two hour lunch, really? And the next available isn’t for over another month! I think they’re going on vacation AGAIN because I never really see any patients there and it doesn’t seem like a busy office. My bf also gets a lot of plaque on his lower front teeth and the only thing they ever tell him is that he needs to brush better. The plaque builds up pretty bad down there and I’m pretty sure there’s something else they can suggest to prevent it because he brushes it super good down there! Also, they don’t do any oral surgery so they recommend you to one. Oh and his teeth have a lot of gaps in them and they never said anything about getting braces when he was growing up. Every time I look up this dentist nothing really shows up, no review or anything. Basically, I don’t know if I would recommend them to anyone.
