I just left there and have to say I had an amazing experience. I’m very iffy about being the last customer at the nail salon because In my past experience they have rushed and done a poor job. Thankfully that was not the case here. Le did such an amazing job on my hands and gave me great conversation. I didn’t get to catch the name of the lady who did my pedicure maybe because we also had a great conversation but she really out did her self she took her time on my cuticles and Calais. The paint job was also just as good. I really enjoyed my experience. I would recommend to everyone.

Not clean at all and a horrible shellac mani! The woman who did my nails didn’t speak a word to me even after I spoke to her in Spanish. She didn’t push my cuticles all the way back and her tools were dull and dirty. There is black shellac all over my skin around the nail. I also saw them not clean the tools or the tub for pedicures! Never going back.

In need of a mani/​pedi or wax? Come here. The owners and employees are all so polite, friendly and welcoming. I used to come here regularly to have my brows waxed but I have moved from the area so I don’t come that often. As in months will pass by… However, the length of time that has passed, the owner still remembers me. As soon as I walk in I’m greeted with a smile and she says wax right? When employees remember you, you feel special, and why I always try to come whenever I’m in the area It’s perfection every time.
The place is clean and organized.

Although I don’t see Ann as often as I’d like, she always does an amazing job. I’m a perfectionist. I called ahead and made an appt, was there first thing in the am and she did a great job on my mani and pedi. As always. I updated the pics. Place has been updated a little with new paintings and paint and they have a giant flat screen u can watch tv on. She gives a really nice foot and hand massage too!

I used to have a mani/​pedi here ever so often. However, the pass two times I came in to have a pedi …1st they told me it was too late… It was 6pm on a Thursday? And the 2nd time I called to make an appointment with Ann and they told me to call back in 5mins because she had to call her and check her schedule?!? Really?!?
I have no problem with them cutting back their hours but they should have a better grip on the appointments. I shouldn’t have to call back. They should take my number or know Ann’s appointments.
Other then that, Ann is great! Her pedicures can last for 3 weeks and still look great with a clear coat touch up.

I have been going to Sunset Nail on and off for the past 5 – 6 years. I dont go there more consistently because they are not close to me at all but not due to their great work. I have had acrylics put in there as well as just regular mani pedi’s. I think everyone there does a great job. I believe manicures are $ 10 and pedicures are $ 20. They have a good color selection and have polishes for sale also. New spa pedi chairs are awesome!

My expectations went to crap after my manicure lasted three days. :(
The reviews were so great that I had to check it out for myself. Sadly, after 3 days, I was disappointed that my nail polish was chipped. My manicures usually last at least a week. I used an OPI color and had Lee do my manicure — what went wrong? Out of these reviews, she was voted the best.
My pedicure however is still going strong (but it usually does). I forgot the name of the woman that did my pedicure. I do love the price and the fact that it’s so close to home so I may give it another shot. If I do, I’ll update this review.

I was in need of a really good mani pedi and decided to call and make an appt with Ann. She was very nice and a perfectionist when it came to taking out cuticles. I enjoyed doing my nails with her and think she did a great job! will defnitely be back.

Pros: They do a fantastic job on your nails. The work last longer than the norm. They also have these massage chairs that make you feel like a princess, while getting a pedicure.
Cons: The women working on my nails was very rude and the second time going, I ended up with a fungal infection on my toe nail.

I’ve been going there since they opened about 8 years ago. There is no better service and their smiles are contagious. They bend over backwards to please and their prices are beyond compare. When I travel to my other home back north I anguish because they are sorely missed and nobody does it quite like they do. No kidding, no jive.

I came here last Monday after I couldn’t reach my regular nail lady and a couple of others that I called did not have availability. Although I had read the 2 positive reviews on Unilocal,I wasn’t expecting much but I really needed to get my nails done. The place is clean, chairs are comfy. One person did my manicure and another did my pedicure. They both did a great job and the manicure has only started to chip today, which is pretty good for me. The cost was $ 30 for both. The only complaint is that I would have liked the techs to be more aggressive with my cuticles! I would definitely go back in a pinch.

After my nail polish managed to stay on for a week which was quite impressive as it usually chips the next day, I decided to head back to Sunset Nails and see if this manicure miracle could happen again. This time I booked a mani and pedi. Ann did my manicure and Paula worked her magic on my pedicure. She cut and took off my cuticles with perfection while I relaxed with a massage from one of the AMAZING pedicure chairs. The color they suggested I flaunt for NYE was Essie Jag-​U-​Are which is a cherry red with a hint of red glitter that has a festive and fun look. I LOVED how the shade looked against my skin. An hour and $ 30 bucks later I was feeling wonderful.

***Don’t judge a book by its cover*** I love getting my nails done weekly but hate paying the BIG $$PRICE$$ especially since it’s a weekly deal with me. This place looks scary, BUT it is clean and the nail technicians are GREAT! I’m super picky with my nails and i only do french manicures with a «thin line». Well, ANN is the sensei of thin french manicures! My nails came out AMAZING! If you live in the area definitely check this salon out! Its worth it! Cheap and a perfect job!
