Nails By Odalys

After reading the reviews and seeing the pictures, I made an appointment this past Saturday (4 days ago) for a Shellac manicure.
I got a french mani, as it was my first time doing shellac and wanted to test out how long it would really last. Odaly’s mentioned most of her clients get darker colors since it will last longer, but I still went with the french.
Odalys was very sweet and professional. Manicure looked fine, and off I went so excited to have had my first shellac done.
Well, today is Wednesday, only 4 days after getting it done and 2 of my nails have already chipped. One little chip and one GIANT chip. Although I am incredibly disappointed that this lasted only a few days (even less than a regular mani) I am in a way relieved I got a light french mani so it’s not blatantly obvious that it’s totally chipped!
I was rating the manicure alone (not considering her to be a nice person) I’d give it 2 stars. A shellac chipping off my nails after only 4 days is not acceptable.
I do not hand wash dishes or do manual labor. So unfortunately, it just wasn’t good enough.
Hate to say it, but it was not a happy ending for me.

I’ve been to many salons for mani/​pedi, and I always walk out disgruntled.
Since I was referred to Odalys, I have been very loyal. Sure she hates when I bring her 2 months work of cuticles to cut, but thank God for her amazing powered foot sanding device.
Odalys does grade A work, is never in a hurry, she’s a delight to talk to, and best of all affordable.
